    I am basing my power setup on my Ford Transit 250 148" MR around all-in-ones too. We will do a fair amount of short weekend type trips and then a 2-3 longer trips - mainly out West - that will be 2-3 weeks long. I am almost 70 and we love camping but have zero interest in being a nomad - we love our home too! I am up to episode #30 on my UA-cam van build series - about to slide int he walls and finally put up all of the shiplap. I am using multiple Ecoflow units - they are one of my corporate partners for my build. So far they have sent me two Delta 1300s, a River 600 Max, four of their 110w folding panels and today I will receive the new River 600 Pro, plus the extra battery. With all of this power, I can run a lot of stuff for a long time. We often camp with shore power, but don't have at national parks or the now-and-then rest area or Cracker Barrel overnight stay. I have wired my Transit for shore power too with a Marinco 30A inlet. With the way I wired my Transit, I can easily use my house outlets with the Ecoflows. Be safe!

    Seems like we're doing a lot of similar things - my ac200 just came yesterday. But I do not even have my roof rack on to put up the panels, so it will be a while. I was sad to see that Will Prowse recently put up a cautionary video about some people having problems with this battery. But he still says he likes the battery. I ordered mine after the IndieGoGo campaign, so I paid more but I got the ac200p. Thank again!

      Yeah I think he has paying forum members on his site that received units with issues and he may feel bad they spent $$ on broken items that took forever to arrive. Those issues should be covered by warranty. With all new tech there are bound to be issues. Even Apple and Tesla have issues but it doesn’t represent every unit is faulty. Wish I just waited and ordered mine now to get the upgraded version! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it :)

Can't wait to see how you connect blue sea that also have. i all so have the A240 don't know how that will fit in to my build that doesn't have the 12V out harness. I really like what you are doing. thank you for sharing.

    Thx for the vid! Curious, why did you choose to go with Bluyetti vs goal zero or others? Doing comparisons myself for an all in one for my Transit build and was leaning towards GZ 1500X but don’t want to miss anything!

      Hey Matt, at the time, Bluetti had the most 12v AMP capacity out of all the different brands. That means you can run more appliances/lights/outlets all at the same time. Other brands may have caught up to it by now. I think it has 25amps at 12v's, but I don't recall off the top of my head now.

    Hi. Could you please explain how you are connecting your BlueSea 12V fuse block to the Bluetti to power everything that is hooked up to the fuse block. Is there a special adapter or connector from the Bluetti to the fuse block? Thanks.

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  3 роки тому

      Hey loumik, You'll need to get the 12v/25amp cable from bluetti or make it. That plugs into the AC200 on one end and has a positive and negative ring terminal on the other end. That attaches to the fuse block. From there you can add all your 12v devices like led lights, fridge, heater, etc. There's a lot of great resources on the Bluetti Facebook page if you have an account

      Thanks for the idea John. I'll have to do this and honestly I've had little to no issues so far in the 6 months I've had the Transit. The only hiccups I've had are with the nav screen not turning on but fixed itself after I restarted the van. Also there was a squeak coming from the slider door which I fixed by adjusting a the rubber seal. Not too many issues that would make an interesting video yet which is a good thing :)

  • @jeffsteinmetz7188

    Thanks for the video and the information. Does the BLUETTI have the ability to take a charge from a B to B charger? Do you get the double battery in your van? How many amps can be pushed through that cigarette lighter charger? If you are charging with the cigarette charger what will happen when the van turns off at a stoplight? Will it continue to pull power?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Jeff, there are a couple options to charge b2b. First option would be via 12v plug, but only at 120 watts. Second option is to install a bestek or similar inverter at power brick min wattage so you plug in the ac charging outlet. I only have the single battery and I think when the engine shuts down the plug stays live for at least 30 min.

    • @jeffsteinmetz7188

      @@RichBuilt So 10 Amps for the cigarette lighter charger?

    • @SkierMan199
      @SkierMan199 3 роки тому

      As he mentioned, the bestek inverter would be your better option for battery to battery charging. I'm doing my whole setup based off the ac200p and you basically install a 500w inverter to your starter battery (or deep cycle battery if you have one, benefit to deep cycle battery is you can charge while the van is off). Mine will be from my starter battery and will only charge when im driving and the van is on. Just make sure you install the right fuse size and cable. The bestek 500w inverter is rated for a peak surge of 1000w so I went with a 100a breaker for mine.

    What cable is needed to connect the Bluetti to the Blue Sea fuse panel? Is that something that Bluetti supplies? Thanks!

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  3 роки тому

      Hey Jamie, I purchased the bluetti aviation plug with the xt90 to andersen connector. You can make this cable yourself since I don't think they sell the anymore. Check Amazon for 2 pin aviation plug and install an andersen connectors. I used an andersen connector with +/- ends to connect to the fuse block

    Great vid! what DC input did you end up using for DC charging of the unit? Did you use the 12v cig socket? or were you able to find a way to tap it onto the battery posts directly (or the alternator)? This is something that i can't to find an answer online.

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  3 роки тому

      Thanks, Yup, 12v cig socket in the back of the cargo. There's the CCP located underneath the seat that you can also utilize. I'll likely wire that up later.

    • @wildwoodovensbbqs
      @wildwoodovensbbqs 2 роки тому

      @@RichBuilt If your coming off the ccp why do you need an inverter before hitting the Bluetti? Could you not just come straight from the ccp to a fuse box then hit a 12 volt supply to the bluetti?
