It's not just 10% damage increase, that augment also decreases reload by 40%, so if I understand it correctly, it's almost double the damage (+83%?) of default vulcan. I believe what you call bug is the gyroscopic effect, I'm not sure how it works, but it's the thing that tries to retain the position where you are aiming. I have barely played with vulcan, but I think that's the cause. Usually you don't notice it since it's helping you, but here it has opposite effect. Shredder looks great, it's very unique and skill based and also it seems to be unplayable with hover hulls. Explosive one is good too, but with the splash damage and bouncing it's no brainer, just shoot somewhere and it'll probably bounce to an enemy. I guess tanki needs both types, this might be fun to just shoot without thinking too much.
I think it's kinda OP, it should be something around 25% faster reload, 40% with the 10% damage buff is too much, even with the gyroscopic effect, something around 83% more DPS is too much, but the idea of the augment is cool tho
yeah it is more like made for long range situations where you dont have turn your turret and your velocity is increased and also fire rate by 40 % which is a huge buff that 10 % dmg is just bonus.
isnt it 1/(1-0.4) × 1.1 ≈ 1.83 times more damage per second = 83% more dps? cuz 40% less reload time gets ur dps up to 5/3 more, and then you add another 10% damage on top of that
The turret not moving along with the hull is not a bug. Guys, the turret doesn't turn along with your hull (when you are shooting) irrespective of whether you use mouse controls or not. This is because of vulcan's gyroscope effect. If you see the the tanki vlog when they first brought vulcan into the game, they explain this effect clearly in that vlog. Also, if you use regular vulcan without any augment and use keyboard controls, while shooting, if you rotate your hull without rotating your turret, the turret will not turn with the hull ( Note, this will happen only if you are shooting). When you are not shooting, if you rotate the hull, the turret will rotate along with the hull - just like any other turret. To sum up, this whole "bug" you are describing is actually a feature of vulcan called the "gyroscope effect" -- this feature is it integrated into the physics of vulcan
I already got explosive band without spending a single penny or crystals on the event, just from completing daily missions and the trick-or treat missions, and I got average spin luck imo, so I think a lot of people will get it
hey taspens shredder is buggy because you're using mouse and keyboard. if you're keyboard only you can just hold spacebar and use the arrow keys or wasd to turn ur hull. that way your turret is locked in the direction your hull is facing (like old magnum)
That turret rotating is stupid, I would say it should turn exactly as you are turning your hull it should work like you are holding right mouse click and rotating hull but it does not. In description is turret slowdown so does it actually mean its 0 ? I dont get it. One test should be fire and trying to rotate it without rotating hull. If its fixated then I dont understand why it is actually move when you start rotating your hull. Weird and really confusing.
Maybe they should just have regular Vulcan turret rotation but nerf a little the other benefits of it to adjust; the big deal Taspens explained like 10 times he found it awkward to use. But also I wish they nerfed Vulcan pulsar a tiny, it is so annoying to play against...
@@cybernit3 Every puslar is annoying to play against, twins have 5 % chance to do critical with a signle shot. Freeze have freeze effect together with pulsar which is crazy combo... Smoky, Tesla those are annoying too. If they nerf vulcan pulsar they should nerf everyone then.
Well they did nerf slightly today in new patch notes in forums...so lets see how it goes, someone suggested do a random status with pulsar instead every single status effect...then it would be a pretty useless augment.. much agreed with you...true indeed..heh@@marekqwerty8963
If you're completely new to the game it could take over 2 years. It took me 1 year and by then I've already been playing tanki for 5 years so I wasn't new. Although this was 3 years ago and since then I think it became easier to earn XP, so can't say for sure but unless you're a very good player, I wouldn't expect anything under 1 year.
@@3clipseZPlaysGaMeS If you keep 10k up every single day, you could "in theory" reach legend rank in 5 months..but you don't wanna do that, if you rank up too fast you're gonna be way weaker than the others who took their time getting there, and they will make your daily grind a living hell. Take my advice: your rank doesn't matter, what does is your skill level and your GS. Take your time, you won't have fun getting kill farmed by full GS players.
Pretty fast, you have bonus during weekends, during events or with premium which is sometimes for free. I have smurf acc where I dont play much and I am half way there and I just played during events. It goes fast if you are good player.

I havent tried shredder but looks like it has a skill barrier which it makes it fun when you get used to the way it works

If you're completely new to the game it could take over 2 years. It took me 1 year and by then I've already been playing tanki for 5 years so I wasn't new. Although this was 3 years ago and since then I think it became easier to earn XP, so can't say for sure but unless you're a very good player, I wouldn't expect anything under 1 year.
