"The buses don't go where you live" is an insult I don't think I had ever heard before this episode.

Penny taking food off his plate was wrong and deserved a strike but everything else no lol
Penny randomly comes in apartment and takes control of the tv, she touches Sheldon's food without asking, randomly gets anything from their fridge, denies to move aside from their couch when it's their apartment, acts so unprofessional in her job for something that was her own fault and gets angry because she can't use their wifi anymore, purposely creates an inconvenience for not just Sheldon but anyone that wants to use the laundry services and last of all involving Sheldon's mother into her childish act. As a result sheldon is the bad guy and gets punished. Sheldon is very annoying but don't see how he was the problem this episode.
i've always thought this throughout the series, penny is shown constantly either picking on or antagonising them just as equally as they do to her, yet the show typically shines her in the light of the innocent girl next door putting up with it
Is Penny the problem, or did Sheldon create an illegitimate government to control the behavior of his friends and his roommate? Leonard should have equal control over the apartment, wifi, and TV, and should be able to permit whomever he wants to use those things, including Penny. Sheldon isn't annoying, he's dictatorial and I don't think anybody in the audience would have an issue if one of the male characters did exactly what Penny did.
@@Br0nto5aurustrust me when i say i would. If you touch my food, chances are I'm going to smack you across the head no matter who you are (unless theyre, like, elderly or something). If you refuse to serve me food at the restaurant you work at simply because you dont like me, im going to tell your manager no matter who you are. If you use the washers i use, i wont be too bothered because i am fine washing my clothes whenever or going somewhere else, but id still be kind of pissed that they did it deliberately to bother me. The only time sheldon took it too far was when he hung her clothes outside imo. The internet thing was kind of extreme, but not "too far" when you consider all they did for her already at that point
Not to mention she hijacks his internet takes food insults him deliberately sits in his chair but thats a him problem and more and watches his tv whenever she wants @xmant8842

I just noticed when Penny shows Sheldon's message to the guys about her not being able to connect to the internet, she's using Windows Vista.
I won't lie, I enjoyed Windows Vista and especially Windows 7 a lot. There were times when Windows actually behaved like your personal computer and di what you told him to do, nowadays Windows will undo your configurations, will force update and again undo your configurations every time, and will shove propaganda in every corner of it while forcing you into a system you cannot even customize even if you pay a lot for it, because they don't care. :D

Most S2 episodes are peak TBBT. I come back to these every other year and I just have incredible fun every single time. All of them have something memorable. From S3 forward things just settle and follow an easy path. Nothing wrong and mostly great, specially last episodes, but nothing gets as good as S2 imho.

1:32 Yeah, it was my sister's favorite show. I had to watch it with her when I was taking care of her while she was sick. I ended up surprisingly enjoying it for myself, though I didn't necessarily understand what made a good picture and what didn't.
Fun fact: this aired during season 11 of Top Model and 2 of the top 3 contestants of that season (Sam and Analeigh) appear at the door at the end of the episode.
Fun fact 2: Analeigh returns later on. You will see her 2nd appearance on the show very soon. At this time of me writing this, I noticed that you posted your most recent Big Bang video which was early in season 9.
One good thing Howard did in this episode, he inadvertently convinced Penny to pay her cable bill. THAT was something that needed to happen.
Penny cannot banish Sheldon from the cheesecake factory because she does not own it or pay rent. It's ludicrous she can't see the difference. Why she wasn't fired for being bad at her job for all the time that she was there, and now for trying to "Banish" a paying customer without permission from management is beyond me.
Yeah. it was inexcusable for Penny to steal Sheldon's food without his permission. It's bad enough that she can't afford her own food, leeches off the guys, never says "Thank you," and acts like she's better than men who can afford their own food and Wi-Fi, but now she steals food and acts like she's the victim.
Between Penny getting away with being a jerk and the guys finding the Top Model House, this is one of my least favorite episodes.
I didn't find "Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock" to be that hard to understand.
19:04 Actually I think Raj gets more girlfriends than Leonard does during the show. Remember, he's the one that Missy wanted. His selective mutism held him back for a long time but once he got past that, he was the ladies man on the show. But to be fair, he was the ladies man by default because by the time that happened, the other 3 guys had already found "The one."
Sheldon's ability to lie is inconsistent on the show. He lied in the Ramona episode, when he said to her "[Penny] distracted me" and that fooled Ramona. There's been other times that he's lied successfully. There are even times on Young Sheldon that he lied successfully.
23:18 I don't. He brought his problems upon himself. He's lucky that when he crashed the Mars Rover and destroyed the evidence that he worked on it, all that happened was that he got denied a security clearance. No prison time or anything.
23:29 They went on a date between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2. Penny ended it because Leonard gave her a course catalogue for a college. Penny felt like she needed a college degree to date Leonard and she felt it wasn't worth it so she ended it (The fact that she was feeling guilty about not completing college and that Leonard was trying to help apparently didn't matter to her).
Unfortunately, they never show the whole incident with Sheldon being flown by helicopter to the hospital on Young Sheldon, even though season 5 of that show took place while he was 12. We've never even seen Missy's guinea pig. I know that Lucky the cat died when Sheldon was 8 (and Young Sheldon begins when he's 9, that's why we never meet the cat), but the reason that we don't meet the guinea pig is a mystery.

39:20 I'm still surprised that when my friends dog got spooked, while I was helping him (bending down) and he snapped at me and bit my lip (I got EXTREMELY lucky and it only needed two stitches) I somehow didn't cry once (as far as I remember) 😅🤣 Just went "oh" as the blood was flowing down my chin and arm (since I obviously put my hand and soon after a paper towel there) 😂😂
That reminds me of when I was like 9 years old and stupidly playing/swinging around in the kitchen and slipped and bust my chin open on the tiles, I just went "ouch" and went back in the living room, where my mum's face just dropped and she yelled "YOU'RE BLEEDING!!!!" and I just looked down and saw the blood dripping from my chin, said "oh" and went to check it out in the mirror xD Didn't cry 😂
A few years later I busted my knee open on the edge of my bed while I was playing in the dark and it was preeeeetty bad
([TW: injury description] size of the injury was just about a fingernail [it was also in the form of a square], but that's probably also about how deep it was. It barely bled at all, because it was so deep that it was down to the flesh and there was only one side of the square still connected to the skin)
but I just cleaned it as good as possible and put a band-aid over it for about two days until I dared to show my mother, because I was afraid it would need stitches (the dog incident was my first time I had to go to the hospital and I was 21 😅) and according to my mum (a nurse) it definitely would have needed stitches, but not anymore since it had already started healing 😅😅
It also took me a day to show my mum that my cat bit me (totally not her fault and the reason I didn't want to tell mum, was because of the long story of why my cat bit me, I'll just say that it was a former friends fault and she wasn't supposed to be over on the night that that happened) and I ONLY showed her at all, because my hand (well, the part of the palm under the thumb) was TWICE its usual size and we had to go to the doctor, because it was right around the time I had to renew my tetanus shot 😅🤦♀😂
No idea why I just typed all that, but I just think my reaction to injuries is very.... idk, funny? interesting? :D It has been suggested that neurodivergent people handle pain differently, so maybe it's that, but idk xD It does make it very difficult to rate pain in any way. During an inpatient treatment, I kept complaining about neck/shoulder/back pain, that was so bad I was actually crying from the pain A LOT, but no one took me seriously. They slowly started to take me more seriously, after I conveyed to them that it hurt way worse than the dog bite and how I didn't even cry back then. Kinda sad how they ignored my pain beforehand 😅

A joke from this episode gets contradicted in a future episode. Howard mentioned taking Sheldon's class but in a future episode Sheldon acts as if never a class but Howard needs it to get a PhD.
No. The class that Sheldon offers in this episode isn't to help Howard get his PHD. It's to help Howard regain the right to be in that apartment.
One thing that always bothered me about this show is how no matter what they want to do they quickly find the exact costumes.
...not to mention the many layers of clothing worn by the guys, suggesting a much cooler climate, while Penny dresses appropriately for temps in Pasadena, Ca.
Why is that a bad thing?
I mean, I get why Sheldon is angry about his food, I hate too when people touching mine, but why is he eating in a restaurant? People literally touching his food before he gets it. Also, throwing away the whole plate just because Penny touched one onion? Kids dying in hunger. Not a smart move from a genius.
