My theory is that Perspective is such a great person because they spend every point of anger they have to mildly insult the design of all kinds of Transformers. Also as a final note, that Needlenose combo is worthless garbage.
I personally really like this figure and can't wait for the (hopefully) eventual G1 and Machine Wars Starscream recolors, but it does suck how little its light piping works considering where Skyquake hails from. I know the gimmick doesn't have the best track record, but the light piping on the original Turbomasters and Predators was so excellent I swear they would blaze up even in a room painted vantablack.
I came back to this video to see if anyone else has this problem, I just got mine today and the joints are VERY tight. Hasn’t broken yet but it scares me
I think the rumour about the arms was one was gonna come off and do the gamer edition gimmick but got cancelled mid way through so they did a quick change with a pin. This is a good thing! Hopefully this will give you extra time, it’s a shame I missed my window to know you better while I had the chance. Great video as always!
For why legacy skyquake has two different elbow joints it probably had to do with him losing his arm like in the show since I remember that toy guy mentioning it when he reviewed his copy of skyquake and his brother whos name I totally forgot
I'm glad people are digging this figure, but it does absolutely nothing for me. I got to see it up close once and my first thought was "blah". 3:48 i know you probably heard this comment before but according to someone's theory one of the arms would've been a port since in the show skyquake's arm was blown off and crawled by itself
As a big Prime fan, i do love angles, but i heavily dislike Skyquake's chest (and his head) i wish they made it like the one in the show with the front of the jet on his torso
Even though I don't like the Prime Aesthetic, I can agree they should have gone with accuracy for the fans, I will say that I like this design more for it's inaccuracy, but this figure shouldn't be for me.

@@PerspectiveEnd well, you says it’s tough to get him to look cool using his Gatling gun and sword. I disagree. He looks just super badass hoisting that gun around like what’s his name from Predator! Ha ha! I usually try to time stamp the comment that spurs my comment in response. I may not be as precise as possible every time.
The elbow joint on the one arm is different because you can detach the arm to reference his arm getting blown off
You can not it is pinned, but maybe that's what they were thinking.
You have come such a long way 🥹
Indeed I have. I'll miss the way things have been.
Theres no pressure to reply to comments. It's not worth sacrificing your entire day over.
I mean aside from the fact that it makes me sad.
This video just reminded me of the ark's light piping and its actually so big i thought it was a real thing on the character design.
What is so big that it's a real thing on the character?
And yes the Ark Sucked at this too.
@@PerspectiveEnd I meant that I thought the light piping on the ark was part of the design from the show because of how prominent it is on the figure. I actually really like the figure, it's flawed but I can't help but really like it.
3:48 i know you probably heard this comment before but according to someone's theory one of the arms would've been a port since in the show skyquake's arm was blown off and crawled by itself
I am waiting for a sale before I buy this but I really want him
I think you will like it when you get it.
I was thinking you were *"Bruce Almighty"* for a minute with all the responses you were typing. We all still love ya, ya big softy.
Truly if only I could use his powers.
Question: are his arms supposed to lock into his chest in robot mode? The chest is all weird on my copy and I don’t have anywhere to lock them in
Not really. They are on forwards butterflies, so it might just be that you need to use a thickening agent on the joint to tighten it up a bit.
I am just gonna wait for the dreadwing repaint of this figure
I saw this figure like once at target and never again. CURSE YOU HASBRO SHIPPIIIIINNGGG!!
Distribution is cursed.
@@PerspectiveEnd it really does.
