폭발적 성량과 풍부한 감성을 강점으로 한 19세 소녀 '주아'는 최근 가수 김범수가 원장으로 취임한 CJ E&M과 폴라리스 엔터테인먼트의 합작 교육 기관 'M 아카데미'의 수강생으로 루키프로젝트 오디션을 통해 이번 OST의 주인공으로 발탁되었다. 흥행 보증수표인 드라마 OST에 신인을 등용하는 일은 흔치 않은 일. 그러나 "응급남녀"는 드라마와 곡의 분위기에 가장 잘 어울리는 목소리를 찾고자 하는 시도로 과감하게 신인 가수인 주아를 가창자로 선정하여 신선한 충격을 주고 있다.

행운의 루키 주아가 부른 "응급남녀" OST 'I am'은 돌아오지 않을 것 같은 남자를 기다리는 여자의 애달픈 마음이 담긴 감성 발라드 곡이다. 이정, 나윤권 등 실력파 아티스트들의 감성 발라드를 책임져 온 작곡팀 파이브어클락(5 o'clock)이 작사, 작곡을 맡은 곡으로 감성적인 멜로디 라인과 서정적인 가사로 극 중 오진희(송지효 분)와 오창민(최진혁 분)의 다시 시작된 사랑과 응급실의 엇갈린 로맨스와 어울어져 어울어져 드라마의 감정선을 한껏 고조시킨다.

I know how you feel.. I also wanted to take medical course but i didn't managed to get in.. Because it's not that easy to get in unless you really really study hard and get outstanding grades.. I have one friend who got in and he was really stressed.. But if i know you can do it! If it's your dream, work towards it.. Don't stop.. Because one day, you WILL get to it.. :) (And one more thing, there're goodlooking and young student doctors nowadays.. ;P)
