  • A cracking winters day exploring the back country around Bellbrook on the NSW Mid North Coast. Some very scenic farm country, followed by a well earned BBQ on the Macleay River. If you liked the video, thumbs up and subscribe, help grow the channel! 😁😎👍👍

    Is the saying true....the only thing better than cooking meat in the bush, is cooking bush meat....I'm from away. Great videos, I love the cooking aspect, as I don't like the de-hydrated stuff. Garth

      I used to hunt my own game, and yep! Wild pigs and goat, straight onto a bbq plate - perfect. Cheers Garth 🍻

    Another beautiful cinematic MC adventure video.! Excellent audio. Luv the way you take the time to film the small natural things.
    Only one thing that could make it even better, would be to ride it myself. My MC is a Honda CB500X. Mines, not as light as your DRZ (CB500X =199KG Kerb weight) but reckon it would handle the same adventure. I just need to find a fellow ADV rider, for back up and share the good times!
    Do you have a shareable GPX file of where you rode?

    Another cinematic beauty Phil. Pete was lucky when he went for an unplanned swim, I thought she had swallowed some water, very lucky indeed. Your 8 degrees is about the same as our summer temperature here at the moment 😂👍🏻

      Thanks Shane! 👍 It was a good day out mate, full sunshine and good company. Yeah Pete was lucky it was shallow. The next crossing would have filled her up. I'll check out ya latest video later today 😎👍

    Take a ride on the wild side today. Just watching Explotas riding in the snow in Tas, even here in Brisbane it's freezing cold.

    Thanks for another entertaining video mate, great film making
    We ended up getting to your neck of the woods. Left Adelaide on the 9th May, headed east to Bathurst stayed there two days did the Bridal track to Hill End
    then moved on to Singleton then headed north past Bowmans Creek to Moonan Flat then down Barrington Tops Forest Road to Gloucester stayed there for 3 days did the Curricabank/ Polyfogal Rd down to Ellerston then the Pages Creek road up to Nundle. Gave the 20 creek crossing a miss, not for us on our Africa Twins. Actully the cafe owner at Nundle gave us a few stats on the casualties of the 20 creek crossings.Left Gloucester and headed north through Nowendoc,Walcha onto Glenn Innes for the night. Next day did the Old Genn Innes Rd to Grafton, great track then continued along Clarence Way to Tabulam then into Tenterfield for the night. Next day went along the Rocky River road following the Timbarra river, really good track continued on along Paddy's Flat Rd to Woodenbog then up to Nanango in Qld then directly west to St George, Cullamulla, Innaminka
    Left Innaminka and head for Arkaroola on the Mount Hopeless track, 160 ks north of Arkaroola on a straight piece of graded hard dirt I hit some dried up mud rubble the back wheel skidded out and corkscrewed then catapulted me over the handle bars. I landed hard and broke my collar bone in 3 places. My mate and I got the bike back up and we rode to Arkaroola, Blinman, Hawker then home
    It was an amazing 21 day trip. I really do envy you for having access to so many beauitful tracks,
    P.S If you want to see the crash as it happened its on my UA-cam channel

Aside from that horrible part, sounds like a massive, amazing trip! You covered some fantastic country - some of the best adventure bike riding in Australia 😎👍 Get well and back into life soon 👍

    where you did that acute U shaped turn on the Willli Willi road, just after you crossed the Parabel creek, have you turned right and gone out Toorumbee rd ? This becomes the Banda trail.and supposedly should lead to the Wilsons Creek campground. Is this possible ? I only got as far as kemps Creek.
    With Coachwood rd being closed, this would then be a way up to the junction of Racecourse trail.

    • @MidCoastAdventures
      @MidCoastAdventures  Місяць тому

      Hi Davis, no sorry, I haven't gone up Tocumbell Road, so can't be much help with that one mate. Looks like you could go up Toorumbee Rd, right into Banda Trail and get to Wilsons River Reserve. Would be wild track I'd imagine, but may be doable 👍

    • @daviddonne7333
      @daviddonne7333 Місяць тому

      @@MidCoastAdventures thanks Phil, as you can see above i did an edit because I should have called it Toorumbee rd. Road to Kemps creek along this is a great ride although over the mountain there are big hummocks on the Banda road to stop water scouring it out.. Kemps creek is an amazing place but you may get wet on the way in from Banda.
      Your vids are great and induce me to come back to this area. We are camping for a few days at Wiiliwarrin in the showground big shed about 7 october. so you could join us for dinner if you wished.)
      Have you had any experience of the Gearys Flat ( U Rollands Plains) - Breens rd - Dungay Creek rd out to the Temagog bridge ?

    • @MidCoastAdventures
      @MidCoastAdventures  Місяць тому +1

      It's just one of those strips of land between properties, and whilst nice to get the water, it wasn't a particularly good spot to camp. There are way better options like Blackbird Flat, Crackenback campground etc 👍
