+Dionne C One of my very best friends is from Bluffton, which I think is near there (she's talked about it anyway). I hear it's pretty darn cold! I appreciate the suggestion and will look into it.
Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Love, love, love the set up you have here. Looks like planner peace to me. I'm so glad everything is going well with you. I was worried. I totally understand how hectic life gets. Remember to take as many sabbaticals possible.

+Shunshiny Books It's definitely working for me, which is a good thing! I appreciate you being worried about me, and don't think I've forgotten to write you back. Your letter is right here on my desk. Thank you for being understanding and patient. :-)

I took a quiz about where to live & it said Papillion, NE was the best. I think it would fit all of your criteria, since I was looking for the same thing. :)

+TheSassyPineapple I've added it to my list, but I'm scared of Nebraska... COLD. Thank you for your suggestion, and thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Are there developments afoot then? I'll definitely drop you a line shortly. Incidentally, I'm led to believe that Akureyri ticks most of your boxes for a decent place to live - it certainly looks good to me. :-)

+GenWivern2 Are you moving there!? Iceland might be a hard sell when it comes to my husband, but I'd be game. I'm now headed down the Akureyi rabbit hole.
I look so forward to hearing from you. I will update you on the details then!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

I think not, daylight starvation during the winter being a bit of a sticking point. Otherwise, what's not to like?
      I'll email shortly. :-)

It seems like everyone I know or know of, including myself, is on a mission to downsize their lives. It scares me, but I am so ready for it. I haven't purchased anything new in a couple of months and I'm wondering how I'm going to get rid of most I own.

+sass9507 I think it's the only way for us to be able to attempt to live debt free (eventually). Plus, I think many people are realizing "stuff" only brings us temporary happiness and a lifetime of burden (having to pay for and take care of it). At this point, we have just started giving most everything away. It goes quickly, people are grateful, and we're guaranteed to get rid of it. Sometimes it's hard to give things away that cost a lot, but in the end, I've felt a lot of freedom in being rid of it.
Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)
