why criticize this? I am not a huge Self fan...but him talking about Ballard's influence is very very fair...and it seems that Ballard and his enormous talent is certainly being forgotten and far too quickly...

It appears that this request was intended to authenticate your credibility.
Calling Campbell a rip-off is flippant. Jung was inaccessible to a lot of readers and Campbell served as a distillation of definitions. See: A Skeleton Key to Finnegans Wake for more Campbell distillations.
@joe curtin Ah, I see. You're one of those pretentious sort of individuals. I find it astonishing that you failed to see that I was re-contextualising a comment by someone else that you evidently misunderstood. I simply should not have expected more from a vacuous dilettante.

Dai Thomas Its just the tone of his voice. He actually says interesting things. Some folk, myself included if I am honest, are cursed with a 'hollow tone'. We have therefore two choices: call center or COE vicar.
