slleepytea i’ve met wyatt a couple times and he’s genuinely so down to earth. i hope you get to meet them some day! it really makes their music hit different
I watched this and I cried, the bond is incredible it makes me kinda jealous and sad, but they’re so wholesome they give me a feeling I can’t even explain, Angels.
It makes me a little sad how much they have changed over the years. Right now every time I listen to the newer Puzzle songs I can tell that Fletcher is really depressed and it worries me how much his songs allude to su1cide or self destruction. And Wyatt in recent interviews seems pretty upset and distant. I feel like they've drifted too far apart since this documentary and I don't know what direction they've taken in their lives. Musically, they are amazing, but I really notice a very extreme change in both of them. I love them, hope theyre doing well and I hope the best for both of them.
i agree with this, especially with the puzzle thing… he’s singing less about love and more about not wanting to be on the earth anymore. it makes me really sad.
Wyatt and Fletcher have a relationship I've never seen before, and it's so refreshing to see. I have a twin sister and we're not anything like them haha I wish we could be
I honestly love this documentary in every way possible. Amazing videography, editing, and questions. It really makes me feel and realize that I relate to fletcher and Wyatt on a spiritual level. Vada vada forever
there is an innocence to them that i can't explain but find very endearing. i guess they just say things in a very simple manner yet very earnest with it
it makes me even more sad while watching this film because of Fletchers words in puzzle interview about how this film dont represent him and his life anymore in any way, it feels like him and Wyatt are so distant from each other now, like they dont have that brother-connection anymore, and its noticeable and really sad :(
when they talk about forcing yourself to grow up and their college experiences I relate to it really hard because supposedly I have to be in college next year and I don’t know if I am ready but I kinda feel obligated to pass it since I am not from a wealthy family and am not in a band or anything and after seeing this video my doubts just increased
I love revisiting this documentary. Of course we can’t ever really know what they’re really feeling unless you know them personally, but this just seems like them. I know they’ve experienced a lot in the past 8 years since this. It’s hard to really know if they’re doing okay. I think it’s a good sign they’re still making music together and touring together. While they may not be with each other as much as they used to be, they make as much time as they can to collaborate. I do find it concerning how frequently they’ve been touring, they’ve had a lot of tours back on back since last year. All of this to say, they’re still them, and they thankfully still seem to have each other. I wish them and all the fans the best, if these two have taught us anything it’s to celebrate and be who you are, fuck anyone who disagrees with your existence!!

I come back to this every now and then because it's so beautiful. It's one of the only documentaries that has never failed to make me FEEL something. It's oddly nostalgic and comforting, a true masterpiece.
From the first few minutes, it’s Yu Yu Hakusho on the tv, cool music being made, wild clothes being tried on and I’m like, “these are the coolest people I’ve ever seen.” The Garden rules.
Music is everything to me and these two are one of my biggest inspirations. I thought real artists in music were on the way out until I discovered them. In my opinion the garden is one of the greatest bands in our modern era, and I really don't think that's an overstatement. Much love and respect.
I found The Garden a few years ago and honestly I just liked their silly little music, but I found to be so inspired by them. They literally are doing what they think is fun and they just live life, ya know?
+karla x i would love to! The one or two times they played my country it was too far away, but yeah i've met some pretty cool people at shows already, its a great way to meet like-minded people!
they’re so inspiring it’s absolutely bonkers how they make me feel, it’s really weird but I finally feel connected to something. Their music makes me feel connected to something
I REALLY LIKE THEM AND THIS DOCUMENTARY IS SO GREAT ITS SO IMPORTANT I THINK THEYRE REALLY NEAT IM SO HAPPY THIS WAS MADE AND THAT SOMEONE HAS FINALLY CAPTURED THE GARDEN SO FLAWLESSLY
i discovered the garden a little over 2 years ago and my style and outlook on life changed so much for the better since then, absolutely love these guys!
fletcher: "you thinkin what i'm thinkin?"
wyatt: "no i'm not"
"we were born 8 minutes apart, so i guess thats only 8 minutes we haven't really known each other" sobs
That made me giggle lol
