Very elegant look, and dare I say it, cinema-like. Nice production in your videos, it's so clear to visualize and understand your teaching, as if being in person. Thank you, cheers
controlling light spills can really make the difference from a good shot to a great one. Very informative as always. thank you so much sir jiggie and mam coco. God bless.
@jiggie alejandrino lovely tutorial and amazing light-set up for a very amazing photo. Question - is the used Nanlite in your video also usable as a flash for photography or does it just feature "permanent light" for filming ?
Thanks for the "enlightening" tutorials and for showing us how you create wonderful portraits. Would love to meet up for a coffee and a chat when next I am in Manila.
Iam a portrait painter, at the sametime a portrait photographer, usually i use single flash with all of my photo sessions. And the results would be my materials as reference for the final oil portrait painting proccess. With this modifier i could compose my shots much easier. Thank you very much, this video is very helpfull,,
With your "homestudio" series, you did show us, that there is no excuse, that if you only have a tiny space or only a single lightsource, that you "could not" create stunning photos.
Great video. I have a similar modifier in my studio that I have really enjoyed using. It is a Fotodiox 32" Lantern soft box. I use it with an Alien Bees B1600. Thanks for all of your helpful content.
Great video, but a couple questions. Because of the size of the modifier, can you have more that one person in the shot that is properly lit? Another question, is the modifier designed just for use indoors? Thanks again.
@@JiggieAlejandrino in my camera when i make the changes for ambiance light to dark, it doesn't recognize the face for auto focus as it will be dark. Is it because the camera is old or is there a way i can make some changes so that the ambient light is dark and still i get nice light out of external flash? Thanks in advance!!
I was also eyeing this type using constant light.. but have to wait till things start to pick up.. I was eyeing constant light rather than strobes until I got a taste of strobe, alienbees b1600, a loan from a friend.. would it be beneficial to have constant light so that one can see the shadows right away? or would it be eye straining for the subject?
Simply wow, sir i am planning to buy GODOX ML60 LED with godox AD-S60S Softbox for this kind of indoor portrait photos is that ok, after seeing your picture i am impressed
Jiggie, I have to say that your video really changed my opinion on using this king of light modifiers. The results are something that falls perfectly into my personal taste in respect of dramatic full body portraits :) I'm wondering if using this light modifier will give the same results when paired with a strobe - any future video, by a chance? :D The LED light itself seems to be a bit weak for this modifier, concidering your camera settings - 1/60 sec., ISO 200 and F2.8 at 100% power of the light - that's not enough for smaller apertures, unless by the price of increasing the ISO, which isn't desirable, so for anything above your settings it would require a stronger LED light or a strobe light. I would go for it only for pairing it with modifiers focusing light (that help intensify the light) or for head shots for which the light can be placed closer to subject thus require less power.
@@JiggieAlejandrino Would be awesome :) P.S. In my first comment I wrote "this king of light modifiers" - it was supposed to be "that kind...". Writing comments on social media using my phone is a bit annoying but still worth the interactivity between me and the content creators it provides ;) Looking forward to your next video :)
Thanks for the video - some awesome images. How well will the lantern work with a speedlight? A video that I'd like to see would be the lighting set up you use on your on-site portraits. Also, I saw this as an alternative to the lantern but I have no experience with it - looks extremely compact - Aputure Space Light Softbox
hello Jiggie I really enjoy your videos, and I learn a lot, I just need to practice them and get the modifiers, greetings from Puebla Mexico I already follow you on IG and facebook

learned something new today. thanks!

Great video, but a couple questions. Because of the size of the modifier, can you have more that one person in the shot that is properly lit? Another question, is the modifier designed just for use indoors? Thanks again.
I would assume about 3 to 5 max. Yup it can be used outdoor :)
would it be good if we priorities lighting at its maximum then compensate by reducing the ISO and aperture opening?
Yes :)
This is wow!
Thank you :)
