- This Is Why Tadej Pogačar WILL WIN The Tour De France
After what happened at the Giro, Tadej Pogačar is exactly 50 percent of the way to history and his ultimate goal of the season, the Giro-Tour double, which hasn’t been accomplished since Marco Pantani did it in 1998. And now that his pink era is over, all eyes are slowly turning towards the Tour de France, where he’ll try to go for the yellow jersey, and as of right now, there’s no one stopping him. So here’s why Tadej Pogačar is likely going to win the Tour de France and write his name into the history books.

We are so spoiled with the number of great riders we currently have. They are all likable guys too. I hope pog wins the tour. He's had a great season. He definitely looks leaner and he's obviously driven.
Leaner? dude looks like he just busted out of a concentration camp.
This blocks on tons of crap!
He proofed you wrong.
@@rolandgreen4318 I was taking the piss! Piggy looks like my local crack head
@@rolandgreen4318 what does proofed mean?
His country with all the mountains is perfect for training!!
I love Slovenia!! May he do well...!❤❤❤❤
Great analysis that match my conclusions both from the Giro and Pogacar's current level plus the outlook for his tour. I cannot recall a more perfect executed grand tour than his Giro. He's more mature and has even sharpened his killing moves.
The last two true de France 🇫🇷 lol what a Pog shill.
what kind of logic is this? at the Giro he didn’t have a single competitor, not only because of his excellent shape, but because no one was at his level initially, on the other hand the tour brings together all the best, let’s hope that Jonas will be in good shape, like Roglich and Remko
Thats why he didnt need to put in 112% he only uses like 80% if his power. And can save some for tour
@@jernejkorosec441All depends if jonas the only one who doesnt get tired in 3rd weeks of grand tours and won the last 2 tour de france will be affected by his big crash or he wll just demolish like the 2 other years
I hope he will win. I love him as a rider, plus I am slovenian:)
I'm hoping it's roglic's year myself
@@exigency2231 I hate to say it, as I think Roglic will be fighting to just get on the podium. I like him a lot as a rider, and would love to see him win Le Tour, but no one is going to beat Tadej this year in the Tour.
Roglic will be fresh and challenging, but is not moving like pogacar in the peleton. Crashes are more likely for him. Still he should be the main challenge for Pogacar
A slovenian double is possible.
I hope Vingegaard wins, plus i am Danish. But i love Pogacar too. What a rider.
@@Fjordkrog I hope Pogacar wins,plus i'm Slovenian.But i love Vingegaard.What a rider. :)
ahh... reminds me of the good times when everyone was saying in 22 and 23 that Tadej will win the Tour easy. It's been 2 years, give Jonas some respect mate
Too many pog fanboys mad that the bandwagon they jumped on only lasted 2 TDF wins.
Jonas is trash!!!
@@dtaufua2 it was crazy to say jonas had the same chances this year compared to last year, also add to that pog changed training. And tbh it all showed
@@kivori3438 I think it’s less about how he’s trained and more due to the fact that he has a stronger team around him than the competition. Visma is just riddled with injuries or sickness this year
@@dtaufua2 womp womp
People who think greatness is boring have diminished spirits.
Pogi is completely dominating everyone atm. The weather has been cooler in the early races though, so we'll see how he handles the heat. He's had trouble in the past couple TDF's when a long climb hits on a hot day.
The Pogi Show must go on!
If Vingegaard takes the TDF this year I’ll be amazed, but not surprised. He is the only rider who can tire Pogi out of the backwheel…
It will probably be the opposite of last year. Pogacar broke his wrist last year and wasn't 100% in the tour (maybe 98%, but not 100%) and now vingegaard won't be 100%.
@@SeppeDeVos-md7jk Agree on this one. This is a reversal of sorts for sure.
And what about roglic ?
@@Leghidu16 To be fair, I don't see Roglic as good as vingegaard or Pogacar. If Roglic is 100% in his best shape of his life, he has a chance.
@@SeppeDeVos-md7jk Well, not exactly the opposite. You can train immediatly with a broken wrist, and Pogacar did so. Vingegaard was in the hospital for two weeks without touching a pedal. That is a pretty big difference.
Nice analysis, thanks.
Btw, Pogi will win TDF 2024!
I hope he do triple :)
Yes he will, without a doubt!
Perfect description, I'd like to add pogachar is the rider who enjoys it the most, racing in the actual world tour
Would love to see a Tour and Giro win for this outstanding young man; who knows, the triple grand tour sweep? Also, I remember reading that he is eying the World Championships as well. Likewise, hope that his rivals are getting healthier as well. I always hate seeing athletes go down in injury.
Surely pogi will win TDF nobody can stop him!
Great video!
End he did it with the power of the superman.... 2024
Today I just confirm tour to France on last 3 stages.. I hope our two will be in front....
I remember watching a Giro where Police raided Hotels and there was dodgy gear, like syringes, viles of dodgy cocktails and pills being thrown out of all the windows.
Pog is now travelling as fast or faster than these Guys in the depths of the epo era.
The sponsor, as a country, has no morals so would be willing to do anything to dominate this sport.
The display was awe inspiring but left me cold as I know cycling's past.
I he head of the uci wants sponsors to have a good experience without the harm of being caught up in a doping scandal.
The problem is, we've got to watch a race which is won by 10 minutes in order to keep the paying Sponsor UAE, happy 🙄💤💤
sure
Only Roglič could stop him. He wasn't seriously injured like the other two.
Roglic hasn’t been the same since 2020
Just need the other teams to play nicely.
He has started to ride again about the same time when Remco did, so probably doesn’t have that big of an advantage
Of course he Will win the Tour....❤
What do u guys think about jonas and the new Visma talent Matteo Jorgenson
Listen, if you're going to say Pantani won the Giro/Tour double, you need to stop speaking of Lance's tours as scratched.
😂😂😂They are. The world governing body, the UCI, says they are. The race organisers, Amaury Sport Organisation, says they are. There's only a few delusional Septics such as yourself who have manufactured a different result.
It’s not completely the same.
Pantani did it in the nineties.
Armstrong continued doing it in the 2000’s when we thought we had cleaned up the mistakes from the nineties.
Nobody but The Cheater's fanbois are speaking of Lance's career since 1989, being scratched. It's a fact, the governingbody, UCI, says it and the race organisers say it. Nobody else's opinion matters. Move on.
@@Rune__one of the most illogical comments I've ever read.
Every racer that pin a number in that Era will admitt that Lance won those races. Period. Epo has been in Pelton since the 80's. Every body was on a highly augmented program till 2012. Get over it. He won because he only focus on that race period he was racing to win. His competitors were his enemy. HE BOUGHT SO MUCH GOOD THE SPORT..
not only are all his competitors either injured or coming back from one, Pogi will also more likely than not have the strongest supporting team and it wouldn't be close.
Besides incident this will be almost a boring Tour, Tadej will dominate and I'm going to love every minute of it.
The Giro, which played in his cards is not the Tour. We will see stronger challengers for sure
I think the full gas he only did in giro 2024 was ITT stage the rest was simple by only cadence
He also went all in on the Queen stage where he did a 30 km solo
I cannot see Vingegaard beating Pogacar this years tour
dont you have a TV?
@@henriksylvestolsen4885 have you no brain
@@henriksylvestolsen4885this kind of tv is not built yet😜

Not always the strongest rider will win ! I hope we get hard fights and clever moves ! Let’s go …
P is smart also, and will have the strongest team . But we will see if he builds up physical reserves needed for week 3.
Beeing skinny early in the season is NOT the best reference for a tour victory
Now it's his chance with Vingegård injured and still recovering 😂
He certainly has won the popularity vote. I hope it goes down to the final stage...which should be in Paris. F#cking Olympic bollocks
yup its pogi year with vismas vindegard not in full condition, wout and sepp not in the tour and I am not sure with remco and roglic at this point as its his last chance or second to the last.
If Jonas is fit and contests the Tour….he will serve it up to the Pog…
Problem with ur analysis is no one in the top 25 rode the tour of italy except Pogacar... none of the top GC riders so hard to evaluate his ride. Also he seems suseptible to heat in July so not as clear as u make it.
There is only one possibility for Tadej Pogacar for a win TdF. Jonas Vingegaard does not show up or Jonas Vingegaard is not 100% ready. A winning position for Tadej Pogacar must have been bitter when everyone knows it is against the background of Jonas Vingegaard's injury.
Pogacar will win because Vingegaard cannot get near his peak by the Tour. And that is the only reason.
O zmagi po Franciji ni dvoma o zmagi Tadeja.
Doing a Pantani indeed.
Pogi didn't prepare for the Grand Tours, he prepared to face Jonas. This level of form was clearly meant to face the jumbos after getting severely smashed last year at the Tour. But both JV and WVA are injured, and Rogliz left. Too bad he's prepared for a fight he won't have.
The simple thing is that if Jonas Vingegaard wins the TDF after the injuries he has sustained, it will be a permanent knock on Pogacar's status. Pogacar might have traits of Merkx, but if you cannot win the most important race then......
He has already won the most important race twice though
@@keywaspoppin Yea - but he has been the favorite the last three tours and gotten dominated the last two.
You don't consider Jan Ulrich the beat of his generation though he has had an impressive career and won the TDF
Will Jonas Vinnegard ride in tour de france?
Yes
He is already doing training climbs, but I'm not sure he can get back all that he lost in such a short time. Visma said that he wouldn't race unless he was 100%, so we'll see.
@@infamousbugg 100% is relative. 100% ready to do the tour is still only 60% ready to challenge the GC. if he somehow manages to win it will be a comeback for the books
For me, TP and JV are the favourite. Let's see How UAE and TVL develop and formulate their strategy. It's going to be massive.
glazing HARD for pogacar, if vingegaard was in prime form he would win again.
Who cares what could be
i think if jonas starts he can chalenge him. And i think in the High Mountains janas is still beter even not in top Form Last Year would be a good Tour for Pogi becouse they did go over 2000m only ones. But this Yaer thei hae a lot of High Mountains witch is better for Jonas but i still think pogi is gooing to win .
The real question is will he go for the Vuelta when he inevitably wins in Paris ?
Vingegaard will crush Pogacar 🙆🏼♀️
Pogacar is currently the best rider in the world, he is very versatile, Vingegaard is just a bit better at a three week grand tour 🙆🏼♀️
Yes Poj will do it. He's the only cyclist we can compare the thd great Eddie Merckz.
Doped Pogacar will win.
Based on what evidence? We are listening
they aint doping lmao
@@juuu7801 So gullible. They are ALL doping. Probably Pogi has access to better products. But in the doped competition pogi is the best.
Cycling is dead. These guys are on more than Lance took. I cancelled my subscription to Eurosport.
Mathieu Van Der Poel will take the TDF this year and leave the pinko team in the dust.
Pogacar's team sports way too much pink - we got it they like pink everywhere. Spare us already.
So you’re getting offended if the Giro winner rides in pink or what are you trying to tell us?
How does this sport work? I live in us and nobody watches this.
If he will win it's because Vinge is not 100%.
If he crashes out and gets injured, he won't win
I was wondering why he was in all those races, I though by France he might be completely burnt out.
True, but it is his mental DNA and makes hom a legend even more
JV is Pogacar's achilles heel, ha ha ha ha.....
Juice 🧃
Just thing it’s Obvious pogacar has been the best rider for multiple years now by a mile but other riders like vindegarrd have better teams
Primoz
Pogachar will tear the tour like a dog rag
vingegaard will win easy
not easy for anybody.
get out ride yourselve
I just hope we get an exciting race. Im a Dane but still I would rather see Jonas not winning, than him winning as boringly as in the days with Armstrong, Indurain and Froome.
lol... same story the last 2 years,,, here say as always.... they say he will win 3 peat what now?? its 2-2 .. tvj mind games wont back down this year..
Because he’s just as doped as them but a little bit stronger.

Only reason that Pogacar will win the TdF in 2024 is because Vingegaard is not competing or if he is competing is nowhere near his topform. Vingegaard has showed that over a 3 week tour he can tired Pogacar out and then leave him in the last week and he can go toe to toe with him in a time trial.
Is this an ai voice btw?
Baring a serious crash…no one can beat as told.
No....primoz....
Only because Jonas Vingegaard is not fully recovered from his severe injuries.
Jonas will show Pogi who the real boss of TDF is.
Maybe, he is the real challenger if fit enough.
Vingegaard, if he participates, will be at much less than 100%. That's why Pogačar will win.
That is why vingie won last year..
I sincerely hope the advances in pharmaceuticals will help advance the human race in future.
If Vingegaard rides, Tadej will come second
...because Jonas is injured and unfit. End of video.
I am sorry but it is impossible to predict a winner of a bike race.
If Tadej doesn't win TdF2024, he should quit with cycling.
Since the racing is not clean, it should be exciting.
Enough with the GOAT BS, please. He's now about on level with Fignon. Long way to go before he gets to Hinault or even Froome.
Are you kidding, Froome is just a gc rider, Pog does everything.
@@markotertinek4433 4 Tours, 2 Vueltas, 1 Giro is WAY WAY better than what Pog has now. Pog would trade his Lombardys, LBLs and Ronde for 2 Tours and 2 Vueltas in a heartbeat.
Are bike commentators not allowed to say JUICE ? They’re all juiced. Juiced. Juiced. Juiced. Pog happens to be a perfect bicycling physical specimen combined with taking the best JUICE. Do we all have to wait until perhaps years from now when Pog goes down the same JUICE revelations as the greats before him? ………. no human can accomplish what Pog is doing without JUICE.
😂😂😂😂 Because you can't, you think that others can't. If you have proof, publish it.
@@agamemnonhatred proof is common sense … the entire peloton is on something, some on better cocktails than others … did you ever wonder why they never awarded all of Lance’s cancelled TDF trophies to the guy in 2nd place?….. ‘cause they’re all juicing. Just let ‘em juice in the open I say.
@@OM-sb2bd I see, you are a Lance fanboi who doesn't understand the sport beyond that cheater. Common sense, as you put it, is the non thinking persons excuse for not understanding the scientific method and how in competition and out of competition testing in cycling makes it one of the cleanest sports. Check out countries like Russia and the USA and athletics and weightlifting where cheating is endemic before picking on cycling.
@@agamemnonhatred lol not a Lance fanboi as you put it …. but they didn’t award those trophies to #2 ….. so what do you make of that? …. actually I believe in Durianrider’s take on the subject of doping … and I think there’s a coordinated effort to not expose the whole industry as it would take $$ from everyone’s pocket ….. kind of like how we should all suspend disbelief while The Rock Dwayne Johnson - best shape of his life in his 50’s - talks about the virtues of chicken and rice, while ignoring the obvious juice …. Given the sheer number of doping scandals with many top riders over past years, I am surprised that you believe Pog is setting all sorts of time records - FASTER than past prime dopers - while running back-to-back-to-back massive tours ….. all clean??? It’s just physically impossible. But we can agree to disagree, if only a positive drug test satisfies your need for proof. Peace and ride on. 🚴🏻♂️☮️
I can't stand EPOgačar and im afraid this will be the most boring TDF ever!
Well I guess than your Vingo will have to put up a fight, like injured Pogi did last year. But I think Vingo will rather not compet, than to get destroyed.
@@markotertinek4433 You little Slovenian chicken! Pogacar suffered a minor injury to his hand. Jonas suffered a broken collarbone, 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung and broken fingers. That you can claim that Pogacar's injury was worse and more influential in his Tour de France last year is ridiculous
Yes he will win the tour Olympics the world title and if he wants to tour of Spain
I really just want a competitive race with the best riders at their best. It will be a lot less meaningful if Pogacar wins because Vingegaard is not at his best. If I had to bet on one rider to win it would be Pogacar, but if you say Pogacar against all the other riders then I would have to take the field because the TDF is unpredictable, and you never really know until it starts who has the best form to win it all.
Pog looks to be in the peak of his life. And given the unknown about Jonas, all signs point to Pog having another shot at winning the big one again. I honestly believe, Pog even could win this year had the big crash not happened to Jonas, he just looks super strong. At the very least, if Jonas was healthy, fully peaked i think it would be 50/50 who would win this year, but it's too bad the crash has potentially taken that away. I have my doubts about Jonas, as do a lot of people, but who knows, he's young, and also in the peak years, so maybe he will come back strong in July. Whatever the case, I'm looking forward to this year. Roglic is still strong, I don't think he will win, but he will be fighting, and first time we get to see Remco at the Tour, it's going to be fun.
Just like Jonas a last year - pogi didn’t have enough time to train
DUH! All his competitors crash and got injured earlier this year.
sure it will easy no competition all the others had very bad crashers and to early to get them at 100%
It would't rlly be history loads have done it before
yeah after today we can say than pogacar has done the double giro/tour
By amile. UAE as a team will rewrite the recordbooks.
he may not get to peak power until he is 28 or 29
