My Method: 1. Have Dratini and Ditto 2. Put them in the daycare 3. Keep on hatching eggs until you have alot of Dratinis 4. Put Dratini in the GTS and ask for a pokemon 5. Repeat
Something the gts needs : either making players only able to request legendary and mythical Pokemon if they themselves are also offering a legendary/mythical Pokemon OR removing offers that have been in the gts for over 4-5 days.
BTW, if you want a trade evolution, trade the Pokemon you want. If you want a Gigalith, trade a Boldore for a Boldore so that your partner will gain a trade evolution as well.
Unless the person you're trading with trolls you with a Pokemon holding an everstone. That happened to me a few times. Thankfully I was able to trade with other people on the GTS who didn't do that.
mjangelvortex I hate it when that happens. But hey, at least I learned to check, and I managed to find a good trade later on after getting a free everstone.
1. Catch an Abra. 2. Breed Abra with Ditto. 3. Hatch Abra eggs. 4. Evolve Abra into Kadabra. 5. Put the Kadabra on GTS for something you need. 6. Wait. You can literally get anything you want / need for a Kadabra. (Because Alakazam is the only mega stone you get for free, and people are desperate for an Alakazam) Excluding legends of course.
you can also save up a pokemon that requires time consuming evolution like happiness or item hold(blissey, weavile, slowking, magmotar, electivire, wigglytuff), keep trading with other pokemon that requires the same evolution effort. this way, you don't need to wait til your friend or you got no one to help you for trade evolution. you can also try your luck with other pokemon with higher value(level50+ pokemon 3rd evolution>milotic or any others that you think it's suitable) for these happiness or item hold involved trade evolution. note that no one on GTS wants to risk their 2nd evolution pokemon + item hold to trade for evolution back for the same pokemon with same item for evolution. anyone can just simply put the requested pokemon with no similar item back.
The GTS only appears to be flooded with greedy people. In reality it's because all the realistic trades get done and leave the list while the people thinking a caterpie is going to get them a legendary will never leave that list because no ones going to trade them. If you want anything in the GTS put up a fair trade to avoid searching or keep refreshing the page you're on for new trades. Similarly with wonder trade people get traded a crappy Pokemon and rather then releasing it they throw it back in the system and its no longer their problem. Throw some breed rejects in there and decent pokes and don't throw the bad stuff back in the mix.
Wonder trade is actually a decent option when you are just starting on your pokedex(below 100-150 completion), especially if you are a breeder, also since you have to at least breed 20 Pokemon to unlock the IV checker, might as well use those babies for wonder trade, you really never know what you will get. For GTS the main ones(or harder ones to get) are the 1% encounters(alomomola/kangaskhan) and those tradewithitemtoevolve pokemon(weavile/magmortar/electivire). You should check those out often and see if you have anything they might want. The moment you get your hands on 1 of these, it will be easy to start a chain for all of them as well as anything else(breed those 1% encounters so you have more to trade with). If you can't find them on gts, deposit and ask for smth similar(I managed to trade an alomomola for a weavile with pokerus). Another tip for shiny hunters/breeders, you can trade a ditto for another ditto from another region easily by depositing your ditto and under your 'request' just ask for one with a different language. This will help you with masuda breeding.
I remember once going on the GTS and used the seek feature to look for a Yungoos out of curiosity and all I saw was this "Pokemon wanted: Mewtwo" and stuff like that, I really question the people who think they can get legendaries for thrash in the GTS, unless it is a Shiny Yungoos..
I don't get the point people asking for a 6IV Ditto though. All you need is HP to use a competitive ditto. It's other stats don't matter. Most people use it for breeding though.
Lunasia The Psychic Kitten Exactly, IV's do play in to breeding. I forget how, but I believe having a 6IV Ditto basically ensures most pkmn you breed will have great IV's, lessening the hassle. Extra points if it's foreign, since then there's a chance to get a really good vanity shiny.
I remember on Pokemon X I had traded over my event exclusive Shiny Genesect from Pokemon White 2 from the Pokemon bank. One of my good friends on Pokemon had asked to trade it for pokedex. I traded it. He left the trade. Never heard from him again. Lesson number 1. Don't trust a bitch
ripping yourself off isn't always necessary. i've been using the gts since i've decided i want to complete my pokedex. i've found that people ARE willing to give you difficult to obtain pokemon if you put up something of equal or similar value. I put up a toxapex for a salamence and got one by just waiting for a few minutes. you just have to know what's an equal trade. slowking for a politoed, for example. dragon pokemon for dragon pokemon. fossil pokemon for fossil pokemon. make smart trades. when you just start out, it's kinda hard, so i stocked up on corsolas and mareanies. i figured, since they had low encounter rates, they'd be more valuable. save in front of bubbling water (20% chance to encounter corsola, i believe) outside of kakui's lab and keep soft resetting until you get a corsola and catch away. leave the area and immediately come back, save again, repeat the process.
Kyle Aye that's a good point! I hadn't thought of it that way. There are definitely pokémon in my party that I'm leveling up to evolve as well as trading through the gts, so I understand.
SunnyChi In Alpha Sapphire, I kept going to the Mirage Islands and smashed rocks for fossils. I used the fossils for reasonable trades and pretty much got everything I asked for.
I completed the pokedex in 2 days (not even playing non-stop) by catching a Lapras and breeding the fuck out of it. Rare pokemon will get you just about anything you ask for on GTS. Everything from Weville to Sillvally. : ) Goes really quick.
yeah because that makes sense, right? It's not like people live in different regions in which "night time" is different to others, right? The only place that exists is where you live, right?
I live on the west coast so I find that around 10-12 my time is a sweet spot for getting good stuff. I have run tests, but my sample size isn't big enough yet. Time to start recruting for a test. Best time Grenwich time to use the wonder trade. Thank you for alerting me to my lack of sample size. Maybe you can help?
That is completely illogical... For that to be correct that would mean the vast majority of pokemon players live in one region, AND that region would have to be completely opposite of yours... How are you people this dull? Do you really not understand how the world works?
Only time I really use GTS is exclusive for exclusive and pokémon that require trade. Magmar into Magmortor, I put the required item on my Magmar so my partner gets the poké back.
Ruben Vanderzeijden I trade my Magmar holding a Magmarizer for a Magmortor. I receive a fully evolved poke and they have to watch the evolution animation.
Just use Kangaskhan. Throw some mass bred Kangaskhan onto the GTS and get stuff like Magmortar o Milotic within half an hour. Somehow Kangaskhan is really sought after.
The GTS is by far the best way to complete the alola dex. I think the most pokedex entries I entered in one day was 36. This was a result of me constantly having a pokemon in the GTS, actively hunting/evolving in the wild, and looking on the GTS for other pokemon that people had deposited. Another hugely effective method I used was always asking for a slightly more valuable pokemon than I was depositing. I started with an eevee and ended up with a lucario just because I was smart with what I asked for. Say you deposit an eevee. Ask for a starter, then deposit the starter, ask for a komala, then pikachu, then munchlax. Jus slowly but surely gaining value with each pokemon. You will eventually have one of the most valuable, non-legendary/UB pokemon and will be able to get anything you want by trading it. So, then get the other super valuable pokemon. Then once you have them all, start trading back down and fill in any blanks. I promise this shit works like a charm. I completed the Alola dex in less than two weeks using this method.
This video was a MAJOR HELP in helping me complete the Pokedex! The GTS methods helped me get all of the Pokemon so quickly! I went from 192 to 301 IN TWO AND A HALF DAYS! Thanks for making this video! :D
The Flying Z Crystal is at the deepest part of Ten Carat Hill. There's a bolder that you have to push using the Machamp Shove (Poke Ride) Hope this helped some of you.😇
I agree with this guide wholeheartedly. I caught a Cyndaquil, Deino and Feebas and bred a lot of them and offer them for those hard to get Pokemon such as Relicanth, Dhelmise and others. I think I managed to get around 40-50 Pokedex entries by doing GTS.
MizuhoChan You get a Cosmog in the post game that evolves into another version legendary to trade with someone else at level 50 something. You should have used that.
For pokemon that take items like stones and etc to evolve you can GTS for the highest evolution then breed for the base. Also, Scizor, Politoad, Progon2, Porgon-Z, Weavile, and castform tend to be the hardest to get, if you can get one of these you just trade it for another, and trade that one for another, and so on and so forth.
Ford Hunter you don't have to have it in your dex to gts! at pokemon select you can choose the bottom option ''what pokémon'' (or something like that) and then you can TYPE IT IN!
Beat the two developers in the Pokémon office in Akala island, Haou’oli (don’t know how to spell it) city near the pokémon research facility P.S. it’s a double battle. Sorry I’m late. (It’s the same for USUM
I just keep wonder trading my just hatched Pokemon until I get a new Pokemon or a good Pokemon with good IV's... It works fine for me... I'll try the GTS
UpsideDown Pickle ive gotten 6 littens, a torracat, 4 rowlets, and 3 popplios, one of them a perfect 6 iv shiny with modest nature and pokerus. all from wonder trade lol
Grab rare encounter pokemon like Lapras or goomy and breed up a bunch of eggs, maybe you'll get a great IV one out of it in the middle when gts depositing. Poke Pelago is slow, but helps for mass breeding too, so likely just knock out at least 18 pokemon within roughly 2 days.
One thing I preferred to do when completing my dex was that whenever there was a Pokemon that needed to be traded to evolve with no hold item, I'd offer it up for one of the same Pokemon, and added the note "I want to fill my Pokedex". That way when they're traded, they both evolve
For difficult Pokemon like Scizor and PorygonZ, you can trade away a Dragonite or Vanilluxe away for those. Dragonite can be obtained toward fishing Dratini on the Poni Gauntlet in special fishing spot in which can be refresh by going in and out of the Battle Tree. While Dragonite is obtainable by SOS Battle, but it is a low percentage. The trick is activate SOS and get a Dratini or Dragonair that is between level 50-59 to appear, and then evolve it easily toward battling Elite Four or Rare Candy. As for Vanilluxe, it is actually not that difficult. Vanillish is found toward a weather SOS, which seem difficult and is the reason why some people treat this as rare but it's not. To get this, you need go toward Mount Lanakila doing hail storm which occur usually between like 6pm-12am. Then go find Vulpix in glassy area in the mountain, start a SOS battle, with in about 5-10 SOS calls, Vanillish will appear and usually it's only a couple level away from a Vanilluxe. By doing this, I manage to complete the Dex without spending extra on second version and I don't have to waste a rare evolution item that you can only get one in the game.
I’m the GTS Master from X and Y. Some of my best trades: Shiny Lugia lv 100 (for Xerneas) Shiny Rayquaza lv 100 Cheap Elektross lv 100 Shiny Ho-Oh lv 71 (for Elektross lv 91+) 1 day difference between Elektross and Ho-Oh btw
The anchor can make a good combo with lapras if you use perish song and the anchor to use its move that doesn't let the other pokemon escape it's great for competitive battles
I came up with this a few days ago and I wonder if you could farm Ultra Beasts with this method: *If you have two Buzzwole/Celesteela* 1. Trade one of yours for two Pheromosa/Kartana because they'd have 4 of them each (with a *friend* who has Moon, because then you can actually plan that out) 2. Put one of them on the GTS and ask for another Buzzwole/Celesteela 3. Find another friend and repeat step 1, after that you'll have 1 Buzzwole/Celesteela and 4 Pheromosa/Kartana as opposed to 1 and 2 *If you have four Pheromosa/Kartana* 1. Put one of them on the GTS for a Buzzwole/Celesteela 2. Trade the Buzzwole or Celesteela you got for 2 Pheromosa/Kartana with a friend who has Moon 3. Repeat step 1, you'll end up with 4 Pheromosa/Kartana and 1 Buzzwole/Celesteela as well And after farming Pheromosa you can just put those on the GTS for other UBs or Necrozma so you don't have to finish the UB missions and can gain infinite Beast Balls -and catch that Beldum in one like I did and then masuda breed it for a shiny-
Thing is with trading, I'm afraid people will fuck off after I trade them a precious Pokemon of mine. I love my Pokemon dearly so when I usually trade off my Pokemon to someone to get another, I usually try to trade it back. I try to get it my own way but seeing as it is a version exclusive, I have to have help. I'm just afraid someone will flee after we trade.
You just need to breed Pokemon . Most of time don't trade anything ; unless you have another Pokemon of the same species as back - up . Unless is a trade you can't miss ( very rare Pokemon , the ones who evolve by trading , Legendary ) .
In the GTS, sometimes people want the same Pokemon, but from a different region, because when they breed with two Pokemon from different regions, it greatly increases the chance of breeding for a shiny. That's probably why you saw that Absol trade for another Absol.
add their friendcode on your 3ds system. start the game sun or moon. press X- join festival plaza, click on the internet symbol at the right bottom screen( your friend shall do the same)- one person(you or your friend) press trade now. and search each other in the list(sometimes need some minutes to refresh) i suck at english, but maybe it helped ya out
Lucas Cerqueira Go to route one where you need to break rocks with Tauros, encounter a Bonsly, use false swipe to not kill it, and just wait until it calls a Hapinni
I purposely made Magearna my final Pokémon to get to complete the Dex. I nicknamed it “Lillie” as a tribute for Lillie and I had this whole idea that I completed the dex for her. That was like almost 4 years ago damn I miss this game
Yeah they’re just baits, if you ever see like a level 100 shiny for something simple it just creates an error for your system and it bans you from trade for a while
Herobrine Harry I don't think the text matter anymore consider how people are bypassing that these day, I mean the chance of someone giving away such a rare thing and waste their time to get it to lvl 100 then trade is low
Herobrine Harry that it's hatched means it IS very likely to be hacked. because they have to fill in the location where it came from and they can then choose anything
Herobrine Harry that it's hatched means it IS very likely to be hacked. because they have to fill in the location where it came from and they can then choose anything
Well I had 60 charmanders.. I wasn't expecting something crazy I just wanted low leveled pokemon I don't have so I can try to complete my pokedex. Im not one of those people who give away magikarps for Palkias or Mews...
I think the reason people in the GTS ask for the same exact pokemon they're trading is because they're trying to obtain a pokemon of a different nationality so they can use it for breeding shinies via matsuda method. I've done it before
The way I did it was via the gts but trading non alolan formes by trading up a rattata, vulpix etc (from anything lower than sun and moon) make them hold an everstone and breed with a ditto
when you wanna evolve your pokemon you get from GTS it's better to give that pokemon you want to evolve a lucky egg because it gains more experience. I set that pokemon i want to evolve (currently fletchling) as first in my party so when i encounter a pokemon i will throw out my fletchling (turn your experinience share off) and then switch to one of your strongest pokemon to kill the wild encounter. (Go to Poni Gautlet or where the encounters are level 59 then you'll quickly get the last evolution
For Gts just find dittos and trade it for something like lucario (ditto is found on route 10 near the electric trial and just go down the first patch of grass
I agree with you have to present something with value to get something of value, but you don't necessarily *have* to rip yourself off. If you have a 2nd or 3rd evolution lined pokemon, there are plenty of people who would trade a 2nd evolution lined pokemon that you don't have a member of. Deposit a Haunter (you can farm catch them in the abandoned site with a 30% encounter rate) and trade them for something like a Charjabug, Boldore, Clefairy or Jigglypuff. Then, you can evolve one (maybe with a moon stone or other) and then breed it once, have the egg in your back pack OR even use Poke Pelego to hatch it while you're away, and you have the full evolution line. I know its a little tedious, but there's no way around tediousness and time commitment to get the charm without someone with a completed (or even "living") pokedex. Best of all, you can start this well before the campaign is completed and min/max your time management while you complete the game. Just be careful of your line up as you progress, cause you'll have some party members waaaaaay below the effective experience requirement until you fight through a route or two while hunting the 5-10% rares in every route.
I think the people who are looking for a Pokemon when they already have one is probably because of the name of the Pokemon than anything else. If you're anal like me where you want it to have no nicknames and English then of course you gonna go back in the gts and try to get it.
Eh. I mean like in Pokemon Y I only have maybe 2 or 3 Pokemon that have different names than their original and in English. And I literally I have every Pokemon. So it's not that big of an issue. But I usually get the Pokemon I want so when I do get Pokemon that have weird ass strange names (like pencil dick) like wtf who names their pokemon that. I usually wait til I'm mostly done with the Pokédex then go back and try it again
And when I mean literally. I mean I really wanted every single Pokemon. All 700+ pokemon. Don't ask me why because I don't know but that's what I wanted for that game so that I can go into the Pokemon center on the computer and see all of them there in number order. And it wasn't just to complete the Pokédex. So there was a lot of trading and breeding and finding all the stones I could get.
I'm new to your channel the methods about the GTS, I do the same exact thing. I also ask for Pokemon that evolve through trade certain Pokemon to make the process faster. Like I have a Shelmet and I ask for a Karrablast. I get that and it's evolve form. I breed and ask for Shelmet back and i get it's evolution form as well. Idk if it's just you but people also ask for shiny Pokemon legends friend recommend Dragonite or any mega Pokemon (especially Scizor). That's how he get his legends. I tried legends and trade for other legends and register them in the pokedex. If I want a shiny legend, i keep trading the same legend until I get a shiny. It can take 3-10 times or you might get it off the spot.
What I do to get any Pokemon I want on the GTS: I found a Mareanie on GTS that requested an Absol. I traded the Absol, and got a LV.1 5IV Japanese Mareanie. I bred the Mareanie with an English Ditto to create a box full of Mareanies. I take my LV. 100 6IV Xerneas to the Elite 4 along with 5 Mareanies and challenge the Elite 4. If I defeat every member of the Elite 4 and the challenger for champion, my Mareanies all evolve. I can either stop here and trade the Toxapexes for some pretty good Pokemon, or I can trade them for Cosmoems. That seems pretty unfair, but Toxapex is a hard Pokemon to get. I go back to the Elite 4 and evolve my Cosmoems into Lunalas. I usually have to go through twice to get enough XP. Then I simply trade for literally any Pokemon I want(Except for Mythical Pokemon). You could trade the Mareanies by themselves if you want. This is my method of getting any Pokemon I want on GTS.
It usually takes about 3 hours for someone to trade a Cosmoem to you. It can take as little as 5 minutes for someone to trade you a Legendary for a Lunala.
Remember when experience share only worked for one other pokemon? The pokemon you made hold it would get shared experience and of course any other pokemon that took place in the battle, but no one else in your party would.
People love the version exclusives. Also lotsa people don't know that you can find metal coats and king's rocks on wild pokes. you can trade Pokemon holding those for basically anything, because those cost a mint in BP, but a high level Pokemon with thief and false swipe SOS chaining can get you one of those in 10ish minutes. slobro is the go to for king's rocks, and pretty much any wild steel type will do the job for a metal coat, but skarmory is easy to find and steal from, so go for that.
I would recommend when you're trading trading away a porygon with the upgrade, ask for a porygon 2 instead. Some people will be nice enough to trade their proygon with upgrade, but others will trade porygon without the item.
A great way to complete it post-bank is to find a very rare yet popular Pokemon like Pachirisu or Aipom and breed 50+ of them. You can get pretty much anything for them, whilst depositing them for awful Pokémon may seem like a bad trade, it doesn't matter. Because as long as you have 1 pachirisu and 1 ditto, you have infinite pachirisus
personally I put things like slowing and ask for other pokemon you need to trade with items for like politoed breed the politoed and then level it up its just saves the time for leveling things Like Salamance that evole at 50 you now only have to evolve the bagon you bred to a shelgon but that was just me if you have the rares that you trade for rares then breed and re trade the rare but that's just me
What I did in oras and probably will do in sun and moon is to put a Pokemon up that trades to evolve and asked for the same Pokemon. It works really well!
back in gen 6 I never had issues with the GTS. I would put in breeding rejects and then just wait for whatever I asked. I never asked for a legendarys and they may have been able to tell if my breeding rejects had good IVs. all the rejects had egg moves as well. it was a really easy way to fill out the pokedex, every day I would get a new mon and ask for a new mon and just keep on breeding and training in the meantime
PokéPelago is another really good one. In the time I've been doing it, I've found that ive gotten mostly pokemon I don't have. And for little to no work at all, totally worth it.
Please subscribe if you are new :)
Merry Christmas
Problem porygon2
KyleAye I trade shinies on gts for starters
I completed it my pokedex in 2 hours
8
My Method:
1. Have Dratini and Ditto
2. Put them in the daycare
3. Keep on hatching eggs until you have alot of Dratinis
4. Put Dratini in the GTS and ask for a pokemon
5. Repeat
Same Method but i use goomys so HIGH FIVE!
All of you people are wrong. You actually put up Zubats to the GTS and ask for rare Pokémon. Works every time!
Koopa7 Mine was a bunch od Wimpods, umbreons, and Espeons
lol I used Corsola
Koopa7 i used the starters or yangmo-o
Something the gts needs : either making players only able to request legendary and mythical Pokemon if they themselves are also offering a legendary/mythical Pokemon OR removing offers that have been in the gts for over 4-5 days.
you can disable people who are trading or looking for legendaries tbh
Doesn't make it any less annoying though
A-CatGames no pls no
Flowey The flower well... yes it does. Because then you dont view them lmfao
Splat Grease if you put a shiny in the gts it should be available
BTW, if you want a trade evolution, trade the Pokemon you want. If you want a Gigalith, trade a Boldore for a Boldore so that your partner will gain a trade evolution as well.
Hunter Koenig me and my brother do that
Unless the person you're trading with trolls you with a Pokemon holding an everstone. That happened to me a few times. Thankfully I was able to trade with other people on the GTS who didn't do that.
mjangelvortex I hate it when that happens. But hey, at least I learned to check, and I managed to find a good trade later on after getting a free everstone.
mjangelvortex i hate when that happens , been there twice
Or a Machoke for a Kadabra etc
Jsmith12292 for real?
Kyle Aye ok
Jsmith12292 working so well
Kyle Aye - You should pin this comment so people can see it. ;)

Said shiny is likely a hack.
TheMaestroChannel True to that!
what if my breedjects are magikarp with only perfect iv u wouldn't want now would u?
Jarret Dean
If I were trying to get a competitive Gyarados, yes I would.
I got a mew for a ditto in oras:\
if you are a person who puts a Pokemon in GTS for a legendary Pokemon you're a noob to Pokemon
Or you only have one version and not both?
but thats not the excuse for putting a pokemon that arent nerly lvl80 asking a legendaries lvl100
Solgaleon I put some for fun until I get a good Pokémon to actually put for trade
Solgaleon I'm gonna go catch 150 magikarp and start wondertrading when I get my game.
Solgaleon I've been trying to trade a rowlet for a poplio... too bad everyone wants a celesteelia

Sacredproz khangaskan is 1%! I found one but i killed it!
Sacredproz kangaskhan is 1 percent? I was looking for a cubone and found 2 kangaskhan in a row lol
Aaron Mcintosh yes it is, go check out serebii
Sacredproz
Sacredproz LOL I wanted a starter, no joke, EVERYTHING WAS FOR A LEGENDARY OR ULTRA BEAST. XD.
2 years late. But the original sun/moon now has people asking for female Taurus or ditto with a gender. So it's impossible to get
How to GTS:
Step 1: Get fossil pkmn
Step 2: Breed. A lot.
Step 3: Deposit in GTS
Step 4: Memes
Step 5: Profit $$$
i've gotten more good shit from wonder trade than bad shit in sun/moon. i have gotten quite a few shinies, tons of EM pokes, and rare pokes
i got shiny passimian off wondertrade
Let's just hope you didn't want legitimate pokemon since its a 98% chance that it's a hacked mon
gildrop my first trade (even before Ilima) was a shiny oricorio (lvl 31) with a master ball
gildrop HOW!? I just get Rattatas, Yungooses, Abras, and Pikipeks. XD
Marshadow the Magical i just wonder trade a lot haha. Must just be lucky!
when i am hunting pokemon i usually go for the quick ball at the start of the battle and that can have a good chance of capture first time
thanks man
I do that too!
Liam Pascoe that's what I do!!
Me too. I’m basically addicted to them now.
I find a LOT of people on the GTS want Dittos. I've filled up a lot of my dex that way.
It's cause foreign trainers need Dittos from other countries for the Masuda Method
Wakka: Made in Yevon Well not only that, but Ditto can be a bit of pain to capture.
Pain to get a good Ditto, yeah, but just catching one is pretty easy
Chase Williams What was his name?
ripping yourself off isn't always necessary. i've been using the gts since i've decided i want to complete my pokedex. i've found that people ARE willing to give you difficult to obtain pokemon if you put up something of equal or similar value.
There are definitely pokémon in my party that I'm leveling up to evolve as well as trading through the gts, so I understand.
catch a feebas, breed it like crazy, ask for reasonable pokemon trades, there you go
SunnyChi True. I breed rare pokemon all the time. I have Dhelmise, Feebas and Mareanie. (I got them all via gts myself)
SunnyChi trade Ditto, those are ALWAYS in demand.
Tuckinator inator I spent two hours catching my feebas, and I traded it for a garchomp lol
SunnyChi In Alpha Sapphire, I kept going to the Mirage Islands and smashed rocks for fossils. I used the fossils for reasonable trades and pretty much got everything I asked for.
I did the same thing. feebas took me 74 other encounters before I finally found one, and I was glad it was female xD
he's played longer than me and still doesn't have all the z-crystals
Foxy the pirate but he has more Pokemon......
You collected/use z crystals?
I completed the pokedex in 2 days (not even playing non-stop) by catching a Lapras and breeding the fuck out of it. Rare pokemon will get you just about anything you ask for on GTS. Everything from Weville to Sillvally. : ) Goes really quick.
No pun intended "Breeding the fuck out of it"
J K thats the way i did it on dpp i got a spiritomb and bred the fuck out of it and got everything i needed even a few legendaries
I got Pheromosa from honedge
just did this yesterday to this norning nonstop, i approve of a 76% to 98% alola dex
Luv your Username :) @Mr. PikPik
if you do wonder trade, do it at night time
yeah because that makes sense, right? It's not like people live in different regions in which "night time" is different to others, right? The only place that exists is where you live, right?
I live on the west coast so I find that around 10-12 my time is a sweet spot for getting good stuff. I have run tests, but my sample size isn't big enough yet. Time to start recruting for a test. Best time Grenwich time to use the wonder trade.
Thank you for alerting me to my lack of sample size. Maybe you can help?
Thoraxe555 That's the point. You get more trades at night because for someone else it's day.
That is completely illogical... For that to be correct that would mean the vast majority of pokemon players live in one region, AND that region would have to be completely opposite of yours... How are you people this dull? Do you really not understand how the world works?
Okay well answer this then. If it's midnight in Colorado, US. Meaning GMT, where in the world is it the middle of the day?
Only time I really use GTS is exclusive for exclusive and pokémon that require trade. Magmar into Magmortor, I put the required item on my Magmar so my partner gets the poké back.
Also, I have a Porygon that needs to be evolved but I want to keep it after its a Z. Just need to get upgrade disc first.
Devan Biasi if you trade a Magmar with an item, wouldn't people just trade you one without? please explain
or do you do it with a friend?
Ruben Vanderzeijden I trade my Magmar holding a Magmarizer for a Magmortor. I receive a fully evolved poke and they have to watch the evolution animation.
Just use Kangaskhan. Throw some mass bred Kangaskhan onto the GTS and get stuff like Magmortar o Milotic within half an hour. Somehow Kangaskhan is really sought after.
AtomTom Like Growlithe when X&Y came out? I got several Zygarde that way and then used them the get other things.
Love how you have 300 caught but you're missing 2 z-crystals. How even
icium z
okey But icium z is just sitting in a cave, barley ten feet away from where you need to go. How on earth could you miss it?
If you were completing the dex, you'd need Tapu Bulu, wich is perfectly on route for getting Psychium Z
Mystique p
This video was a MAJOR HELP in helping me complete the Pokedex! The GTS methods helped me get all of the Pokemon so quickly!
I went from 192 to 301 IN TWO AND A HALF DAYS! Thanks for making this video! :D
The Flying Z Crystal is at the deepest part of Ten Carat Hill.
There's a bolder that you have to push using the Machamp Shove (Poke Ride)
Hope this helped some of you.😇
***** You're welcome😇
***** No prob. To be honest, you actually helped me out a lot😂
Thank you so so so much!!!! Your the best!!!! I hope you have a super perfect weekend!!!!
Nathan Price Thanks and you're welcome. I'm actually a little sick right now, but after seeing this, I feel a little bit better😇
This one dude from JPN gave me a shiny scissor for my Milotic. I was so shocked
MattEW Boi Someone gave me a mew for my lvl 100 altaria
@@AlesMsay someone gave me there shiny deoxys for my torchike
lil mumch cool trade
Someone traded me a shiny groudon for my diglett
1% encounter rate. huh. makes me feel a lot better about myself because I breed and wonder trade Dhelmise.
I traded a shiny scyther for a lunala, since I have sun. Shiny scyther is terrible.
MizuhoChan You should have traded your extra Solgaleo.
Marshadow the Magical ...extra Solgaleo?
MizuhoChan You get a Cosmog in the post game that evolves into another version legendary to trade with someone else at level 50 something. You should have used that.
Oh, but then I wouldn't have a Cosmog.
MizuhoChan Oh no, you wouldn't have a Pokemon that learns nothing but Splash and Teleport. :P
I never thought of using the GPS like that. Finally, a video that explains the madness behind its method
I finished mine pretty early using mainly gts.
Now im only left with the UB and Lunala, I really wish there were QR codes for them so I could GTS it but I guess I'll have to use a friend.
Ford Hunter you can get Lunala in sun
Ford Hunter you don't have to have it in your dex to gts! at pokemon select you can choose the bottom option ''what pokémon'' (or something like that) and then you can TYPE IT IN!
To Get the Oval Charm, do you need to see or cath all 300?
NeoNepe No
(To make the link reachable I replied)
Again
NeoNepe u have to go to the gamefreak office somewhere on the second or thord island i think and then battle someone in there. Just goole it.. :D
CoriCat people who put pokemon on the GTS always ask for a legendary even if there giving you a pikipek
TheGamingCow289 Just do what he does in the vid and turn legendaries off
***** and ask for over a level 91 pokemon, I completed my pokedex so it doesn't matter to much
I am 7 years old can I git charzad
I got a Litten from a wonder trade when I started with Rowlet :3
UpsideDown Pickle I have popplios so I could trade you
UpsideDown Pickle ive gotten 6 littens, a torracat, 4 rowlets, and 3 popplios, one of them a perfect 6 iv shiny with modest nature and pokerus. all from wonder trade lol
I'm stacked with all three lmao
Grab rare encounter pokemon like Lapras or goomy and breed up a bunch of eggs, maybe you'll get a great IV one out of it in the middle when gts depositing. Poke Pelago is slow, but helps for mass breeding too, so likely just knock out at least 18 pokemon within roughly 2 days.
4:20 I got a Shiny Gumshoos with pokerus at level 100 with Max ev’s and iv’s with maxed PP moves!
Renzu I have gotten one like that but it was an eevee
One thing I preferred to do when completing my dex was that whenever there was a Pokemon that needed to be traded to evolve with no hold item, I'd offer it up for one of the same Pokemon, and added the note "I want to fill my Pokedex". That way when they're traded, they both evolve
That was actually gold stuff. I never even considered trade and forgot or knew nothing about gts.
Forget the Vanilluxe or Dragonite . Get a Vanillite or Dratini instead for trading .
Most people will do trade difficult ones for these ones anyway .
Thanks a lot and keep up the the good work. Now because of this my Pokedex is fully complete
I appreciate it dude! Thanks for subscribing!
FootballTekkerz same here
FootballTekkerz congrats completing the pokedex is a great achievement congrats dude
Im using your method on x
I’m the GTS Master from X and Y.
Some of my best trades:
Shiny Lugia lv 100 (for Xerneas)
Shiny Rayquaza lv 100
Cheap Elektross lv 100
Shiny Ho-Oh lv 71 (for Elektross lv 91+)
1 day difference between Elektross and Ho-Oh btw
oh? the anchor is rare? If I could, I should thank that person from wonder trade xD
Shirokuro109 It's literally a 5% to 10% chance from one specific spot-
ooh :o . i've got no luck in game but seems like wonder trade is my luck, sometimes anyway, lol.
The anchor can make a good combo with lapras if you use perish song and the anchor to use its move that doesn't let the other pokemon escape it's great for competitive battles
boii heard about shadow tag?
Shirokuro109 same, lol
I came up with this a few days ago and I wonder if you could farm Ultra Beasts with this method:
*If you have two Buzzwole/Celesteela*
1. Trade one of yours for two Pheromosa/Kartana because they'd have 4 of them each (with a *friend* who has Moon, because then you can actually plan that out)
2. Put one of them on the GTS and ask for another Buzzwole/Celesteela
3. Find another friend and repeat step 1, after that you'll have 1 Buzzwole/Celesteela and 4 Pheromosa/Kartana as opposed to 1 and 2
*If you have four Pheromosa/Kartana*
1. Put one of them on the GTS for a Buzzwole/Celesteela
2. Trade the Buzzwole or Celesteela you got for 2 Pheromosa/Kartana with a friend who has Moon
3. Repeat step 1, you'll end up with 4 Pheromosa/Kartana and 1 Buzzwole/Celesteela as well
And after farming Pheromosa you can just put those on the GTS for other UBs or Necrozma so you don't have to finish the UB missions and can gain infinite Beast Balls -and catch that Beldum in one like I did and then masuda breed it for a shiny-
Thing is with trading, I'm afraid people will fuck off after I trade them a precious Pokemon of mine.
How do you trade your friends?
add their friendcode on your 3ds system. start the game sun or moon. press X- join festival plaza, click on the internet symbol at the right bottom screen( your friend shall do the same)- one person(you or your friend) press trade now. and search each other in the list(sometimes need some minutes to refresh)
i suck at english, but maybe it helped ya out
*****
no problem. nice video kyle :) just found you in my suggestion list^^
*****
of course. i watched a german Yt'er "RegiBang" :)
Main thing being, if you use the GTS and put up a reasonable trade for trade, it works out really well.
Tbh I'm waiting on the bank to update because literally I have all the non gen 7.
do you need ultra beasts to complete the pokedex?
I trade xurkitree for xurkitree in hopes ill eventually get a modest one
Jeremiah peters I don't think anyone's gonna GTS a modest Xurkitree just keep looking for at least a spa atk boost nature
noobs would
Jeremiah peters A noob wouldn't be looking for a Xurkitree switch
idk man I got a mild one so far and I got one with pokerus
I remember this guy in the GTS, he would trade shiny Pokemons for a Snivy. Like most of the pokemon I search he would be there
katrynella11 loves gaming I ALWAYS SEE THAT GUY IN GTS
Yeah, he's still doing that. When you're trying trade it game crashes
anyone can help me? i need the chansey evolutionaire line!
Lucas Cerqueira Go to route one where you need to break rocks with Tauros, encounter a Bonsly, use false swipe to not kill it, and just wait until it calls a Hapinni
Ivan Avendano thanks!
Lucas Cerqueira No problem
This only works in the daytime. Lush jungle is the only place you can get Happini at night via Bonsly
Ryan Cairns Nope. You have a small chance for a Pichu to sos a Hapiny
I purposely made Magearna my final Pokémon to get to complete the Dex. I nicknamed it “Lillie” as a tribute for Lillie and I had this whole idea that I completed the dex for her. That was like almost 4 years ago damn I miss this game
To summarise the last method : Achieve win-win trades 😒
Kyle Aye Nah, it was a bit too lengthy for my liking... no hates to be honest 😋
Kyle Aye Sorry for the '😒' emoji though...
"haha both ways" This became my favorite video
actually i have found many good pokemon in wonder trade multiple times
yeah i found a lvl 100 shiny mew
i got one drampa from gts and bred a crap ton more, then gts's off like 249 of em and finished the dex. it was actually lit
You can ask for a salamence in gts and when you get one, you the deposit the salamence and ask for a shelgon(its pre-evo)
Do you guys get flooded by hackers asking for snivys for their lv100 shiny tapu koko
Edit: out of the 58 results 45 were the same 3 guys
Yeah they’re just baits, if you ever see like a level 100 shiny for something simple it just creates an error for your system and it bans you from trade for a while
Dude, I don't know why, but I love the sound of your voice, not to be weird. But I love all your videos, the advice is awesome!
I wish I could instead fill a Pokedex by encountering Pokemon
it is easier to trade for a fully evolved then breed it for the prevolutions.
my brother wonder traded a level 16-ish trumbeak and got a level 100 shiny lycanrock with pokerus and possibly 6 perfect IVs.
Herobrine Harry it's hacked
TheGamingCow289 unlikely as it was hatched
Herobrine Harry I don't think the text matter anymore consider how people are bypassing that these day, I mean the chance of someone giving away such a rare thing and waste their time to get it to lvl 100 then trade is low
Herobrine Harry that it's hatched means it IS very likely to be hacked. because they have to fill in the location where it came from and they can then choose anything
Herobrine Harry that it's hatched means it IS very likely to be hacked. because they have to fill in the location where it came from and they can then choose anything
Man, I love wonder trading. I got 4 legendaries, a mythical, bunch of aprimons, and it’s filling up my dex. Guess I just had some good luck :)
I got a Shiny Arceus for a Level 1 charmander in Pokemon X....
GamingNinja117 You're that kind of people that ruins everything.
How am I??
I got it through Wonder Trade....
You give worthless pokemon away. I hate that when poeple do that
Well I had 60 charmanders.. I wasn't expecting something crazy I just wanted low leveled pokemon I don't have so I can try to complete my pokedex. Im not one of those people who give away magikarps for Palkias or Mews...
I have to say. I thought your method was a bad idea. But now I have a level 100 Primarina and Bagon from it. You just earned a subscriber.
Actually most pokemon I get on wondertrade are from breeders and most of the pokemon have more than 1 IV
I just checked the IVs of the shiny Wimpod (Now Golisopod) that I got through wonder trade and they are all either 30 or 31.
I think the reason people in the GTS ask for the same exact pokemon they're trading is because they're trying to obtain a pokemon of a different nationality so they can use it for breeding shinies via matsuda method. I've done it before
COMPLETED THE POKEDEX IN 2 DAYS!??!
haha fair play to yo :D
Breed your starter and put the hatchlings into the gts for a specific pokemon, its easier sometimes
Traded a Happiny for a type null. Also the fact you get multiple ultra beasts is great 3 extra Pokemon I can trade for
Also you got to love those people that trade like Milotic for Feebas with the prism scale props to those people that are helping you complete the dex
i put in a lvl 80 shiny for a for a level 60 rayquaza is that bad
YO I HAVE 215 POKEMON IN THE DEX, SO CLOSE
I have 263 Pokemon caught and 288 seen
I caught all 301, just finished it good luck :)
Butter My Toast I'm already finished, this comment is outdated :D
Butter My Toast will u help me fill mine up I will give u them all back
marshadow is 301, isn't it?
The way I did it was via the gts but trading non alolan formes by trading up a rattata, vulpix etc (from anything lower than sun and moon) make them hold an everstone and breed with a ditto
15:30 Did I hear that Right? "Watch Pornhub"?
You heard it too! kkkkk
when you wanna evolve your pokemon you get from GTS it's better to give that pokemon you want to evolve a lucky egg because it gains more experience.
I am 100% on all the islands, but my dex is just at 99% please help meeee!
did you try scanning the qr code for Magereana? that legendary became public right about now. search it up
I had forgotten that Zygarde was a pokemon in the game, lol! But thanks for the help anyways!
Happy? Ok Mythical Pokémon don't count towards the total. It's nice to have them, but they don't count.
mythical pokemon can count, what doesnt count are event only pokemon
For Gts just find dittos and trade it for something like lucario (ditto is found on route 10 near the electric trial and just go down the first patch of grass
I got a master ball from wonder trades
gage schlicht got 2 megastones
I traded a marvel scale dratini for a level 61 to 70 lycanroc for fun
IT GOT TRADED WTF
Blitz that’s a really bad trade imo. When it evolves to dragon air then dragonite it gets multiscale and multiscale dragonite is op
Like si también completaste ya la pokedex.👍
***** WoW porque?
***** Denadaaa sino cuenta nada😜
Kyle Aye Quería decir cuesta*. El video ayuda.😃
Remember when experience share only worked for one other pokemon? The pokemon you made hold it would get shared experience and of course any other pokemon that took place in the battle, but no one else in your party would.
I wss the 1 Thausandst Like ! ( im from germany so sorry for my bad english )...
T 64 I live in Germany
Jarret Dean ...Dann schreib Deutsch...
Wieso sollte ich das tun?
Worüber redest du?
Im sorry i dont speak spanish
Also if u want to level up your Pokémon really fast use the lucky egg! And go to the Battle buffet
for you secret method if it can evolve one time you can ask for the final evolution (the second) and breed
One thing I do is ask for the third stage of a pokemon, breed it and then evolve it then trade for different pokemon with those
People love the version exclusives.
I asked someone for a Milotic for my feebas with Prism Scale, and it worked!
how did I get a shiny genisect for a pinsir. IT WAS A LINK TRADE. AND I ALSO GOT A SHINY RAQUAZA TOO.
Sun and Moon makes it easy to GTS. They give you 2 of the version exclusive Pokémon. Well at least a Cosmog that evolves into a Lunala/Solgaleo.
in 3.5 i do the same thing but with pokemon you can not get in sun/moon. It usually works within under an hour, depending on what you ask for.
personally I put things like slowing and ask for other pokemon you need to trade with items for like politoed breed the politoed and then level it up its just saves the time for leveling things Like Salamance that evole at 50 you now only have to evolve the bagon you bred to a shelgon but that was just me if you have the rares that you trade for rares then breed and re trade the rare but that's just me
What I did in oras and probably will do in sun and moon is to put a Pokemon up that trades to evolve and asked for the same Pokemon.
