Yes I've listened to the version you posted the link to 3 years ago when I first found this one, and you'll see I also posted a query against it as was confused as to which version of Marina was def by Al Saxon - as I wanted to buy that uptempo copy for my British RnR themed jukebox. The other track was posted by Martin Watson who def knows his stuff re British rnr. Anyway, the more I losten to the version here the more I think you're right, some of the diction is more New York than London East End, so I unreservedly apologise for my comment 3 years ago, sorry. PS call me Jeff lol, altho I still do have a big red Rover but these days it doesnt do much Rockin (and rollin) along as it should. Thanks.
