how have you been using it? have you been able to find any other methods other than using boox's pdf editing software to annotate docs/take notes? i tried obsidian and microsoft onenote, but didn't like either of them. obsidian was way too slow on the eink for me, and onenote i just disliked their ui and organization.
Finally a stationery tour that isn't asthetic and just states the plain facts on pros and cons. And as some other comments say, welcome back James Scholz.
dude i feel like you're living the life i think i will when i finally go to collage. our tastes are so similar when it comes to the things you post here
I might be totally off the mark here - but isn't the fountain pen supposed to be held flat side up? Holding it the other way might explain the scratchiness
Honestly, having used the Nero, rr800, various dr grips, and the Kuru-Toga Dive... At the end of the day, I always reach for the Rotring 600 while the rest collect dust, lol.
@@drpryasjain i talked about this at the end of the video! this is filmed on the xh2s with the 18-55 f2.8-4 kit lens. for editing, i normally use davinci resolve (free) but used premiere pro on this one as i currently do not have the studio version of davinci resolve on this laptop.
I just found your channel recently and i really like it, keep up the work! Btw i am looking to buy a good quality pen and i saw rotring 600 ballpoint pen do you know anything about it?
i would recommend the rotring 600 ballpoint pen! it's pretty much like the mechanical pencil, solid daily carry. i would try to get it when it goes for sale around 20 dollars, not really worth buying at full price of 40 dollars unless you really want it fast.
i think an eink tablet is my favorite thing i have bought aside from my camera in the past two years
I agree with this. I bought a Boox and it’s the best thing I’ve bought for my work flow probably ever.

The fountain pen might be scratchy because you're writing on the reverse edge of the nib. Generally you want to write with the nib facing downwards
