I tend to agree with practically everything Lubna has said in this video, especially about India, Pakistan and Kashmir. Just wanted to add one thing, if I may. This is about marriage of a Pakistani (presumably Muslim) girl (woman, aurat) to an Indian (presumably Hindu) boy (man, admi). Normally, Hindu families are very relaxed about religious matters -- and do generally INCLUDE new members easily. There is no Kalima to read and declare allegiance to. There are no hard and fast rules that one must pray five times or one time, facing one direction or another direction. There is no rule that a man or woman must fast for a certain month in day time and eat at night, etc. etc. Rituals and tradition, festivals are generally relaxed and joyous occasions (such as Diwali and Holy, for example). So, Hindu families or communities seldom insist on or even encourage people to change their religion. So the girl can remain Muslim as long as she wants. No problem. And of course the language and culture are about the same, as we all know -- khana pina is the same except Hindus generally tend to be vegetarian (but not always -- but there are certain meats that are not favourably regarded, as we all know). So, I don't see any problem in a Pakistani girl marrying an Indian boy -- but the other way round IS problematical -- because (usually, normally) MUslim men being Muslim men (and Islam insisting on conversion before marriage), the price for the girl and her family to pay is to abandon her religion, which can be painful -- and humiliating. Another thing: this relates to internet marriage. That is -- or can be -- tricky. Avoid!! 😀❤
