Agust D is completely crazy, he is someone who does not care about people's opinions, he follows his own rules, it is definitely incredible, thanks for reacting 💜
suga it's credited for everything in this song, he decided to work alone for this track so he wrote the lyrics, composed, produced and even drew the sketch about the story he wanted in the MV, we joke around calling him a genius but he definitely is one!

This video is the second in a trilogy. The first video is Daechwita, the third and final is Amygdala - it would help to watch the three in order to fully understand the story, although you did grasp the story very well 💜💜💜💜
The lyrics are a social commentary, not so much about Agust D grappling with fame or mental health. It's talking about the media and how it shapes people's opinions and so on. The Haegeum lyrics are saying something different from what's being shown in the MV, in a way. There is a storyline for the MV which ties with two other MVs (Daechwita and Amygdala). It would help to really read the lyrics to better appreciate and understand the message of BTS songs.
Suga wrote, composed, produced and came up with the music video concept. He’s amazing. And I think the dance video was to show everyone yeah and I can dance too lol
Yoongi wrote this as part of a trilogy. First it's Daechwita, then Haegeum and then last is Amygdala. If you watch all three together you'll understand the story line better. We still don't know why he did this dance practice because he's never performed it live, but we're not complaining! Being a Yoongi bias, I can't even tell you how many times I've watched it 🤣 Another great reaction guys!
One of the most packed songs/MVs I’ve seen. He is the only writer snd producer of the song it’s just 100% him and BTS use of the Haegum instrument a two stringed traditional instrument and his dual nature. He’s a musical genius just on the beat and production. His story board is also top notch. No one does intensity like AgustD.
When watching him dance, remember that this beautiful man is 30 years old. All of BTS are getting older, but they are still just getting better and better.

Yes! Omg sp funny you see “lots of b-boy” in it I didn’t even notice cus i dont know much about dance but Suga use to do B-boying back then until a car accident that crushed his shoulder when he was a delivery guy so he doesnt b-boy anymore but hearing you said there is “lots of b-boying” elements in it makes me feel proud he still has it
Suga did b-boy dancing before he became a member of BTS he just stopped bec of a shoulder injury from a car accident which he illustrated pretty well in his song "Amygdala." Now that he's recovered he had gone back practicing hip hop while BTS is on break as the members have started serving in the military one at a time as they reached the age requirement. Right now Suga is also in the military and will serve 21 months 😢.
D-day is his third album (the others were called mixtapes) as Agust D. All are excellent!!

Haegeum has 2 meaning (a) it's a traditional 2 stringed instrument played with a bow and (b) to lift a ban on something that is prohibited or a social or cultural taboo. You see the conflict in the the MV but what you missed are the lyric's he's not talking about himself their he's talking about very real society issues. Some are expectations such as Kpop Idols are not supposed to smoke yet he's smoking in the MV which in itself can get it banned as he light up the cigarette yet many adults in South Korea smoke so by lighting up that cigarette he's saying 'F' you at all those who would go after Kpop Idols caught smoking via social media and distroy kpop Idol's careers. He's rapping about how people think it's their freedom to say and do what they want with no regard to how it will affect other people eg Kpop Idol's and young people have killed themselves due to online bullying because some people think it's their freedom of speech to say whatever hateful comment that come's into their heads. Hence the line your freedom can mean another person's death.

Also, fun fact: a rule in BigHit is that IF you want to release a mixtape, or a single, an album, you yourself should work for it. Regardless of how long it takes, you need to work for it. Which is why it was the Rap line who was able to release mixtapes first.

Suga just finished his D-Day world tour in June I believe. Army you can correct me. But his world tour was very successful. Fun fact: Suga is the only rapper so far in the world . Who's album D-Day sold over 1.2 million copies in 1day. Drake was second rapper, who sold his album over 1million in 1 week. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Agust D is indeed a storyteller regarding anything, whether internal struggles, social anxiety, the pressures of social media, or learning to follow your dreams but not suffering in the long run. I can't wait for you guys to check out Daechwita (the first part of the trilogy) and Amygdala (the last part of the trilogy after Haegeum). Fair warning, though: Amygdala is SO emotional for him and us for reasons we can explain to you guys when you get to that one. But the lyrics tell what he's been through for the most part. Also, I think y'all would love People and People pt.2 (ft. IU), both of some of my favorites of his! P.S. People pt. 2 have an mv while People does not :)

As with most of his work, I think that there's more than one level of interpretation, and I suspect that it's intentional.

Yoongi deserves EVERYTHING ❤ Yes, Yoongi used to be a b-boy before debut (As far as I remember 😅) until he suffered a horrible shoulder injury that caused him a lot of pain when he danced for the years afterward. Thankfully, he underwent surgery for it in 2020 and I'm so freaking glad it doesn't cause him that much pain anymore 😢 It is extremely soul purifying to see him dancing like this knowing that his shoulder is much better ❤❤

Would have suggested you react to daechwita before this one for sure (because this one is a sequel/second part to that song/MV) but either way be careful if you guys decide to listen to and watch the third song/MV in this trilogy: Amygdala (after you go watch the first if you haven't yet lol). Its very emotional and can be triggering to people that have gone through depression and mental health struggles (like suga himself) among other things. I don't want to spoil it just in case you guys do plan to watch it at some point but I will say the song is very reflective of his own life. Everything he says is true and portrays things he's actually gone through (which was very vulnerable and brave of him however hard it may be to watch the MV😟). Some people who have reacted to it think its fictional so I just wanted to let you guys know this ahead of time. Oh also for a piece of information the amygdala is the part of the brain that stores and processes trauma. If you want to learn the details though a quick Google search would probably be more helpful than me lol😂😁💜
