It amazes me just how creative these alternative man-centered interpretations of scripture can get. Jesus was not a social justice warrior nor did he advance the agenda of “serving man”. His teaching was centered on the spiritual oppression of sin, not societal oppression. The sermon on the mount can be summed up as encouraging and preparing His followers for the adversity they would encounter as they sought to follow Him. Jesus knew His followers would be rejected by friends, family and their community. He knew they/we would take a beating mentally, physically and spiritually so He wanted to acknowledge and address that concern. These “serve God by serving man” social justice agendas are nothing more than self worship.
22:03 …ministry of reconciliation. The ministry and message of reconciliation mentioned in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 is about sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not the social justice “gospel”.
Who were the audiences? Matthew 5:1 tells us that there were big crowd, He ascended the mountain and sat the disciples to teach, which is the inaugural speech, the program that He would bring to this fallen world. *His purpose* of this speech was to convince this small group of people of who Jesus is and at end, they would carry out the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus wanted to *convince* this small group of people who He is and what they must do after Jesus departed from here. Matthew 8:1 onward was to further teach and prove through the revealing of miracles and teachings through parables that only these peoples could comprehend. It's important to note that Matthew 5 to 28 were classroom lessons for the disciples only. The main goal was to convince them that He is whom He said He is so that they would carry out the great commission after His ascension to the Father. I think to read the gospel of Matthew with this as the main purpose of Jesus could be helpful. Matthew's narrative is to also convince the readers that Jesus is Whom He said He is. Your faith comes from hearing who Jesus is and what He accomplished and will further accomplish the unfinished business during His 2nd coming.
19:54 eirēnopoios Means “to do peace”which would be more akin to choosing to live in peace, not being acquiescent liaisons or community activists. This idea that we are to serve society by promoting social justice and equity is completely incongruent with scripture. If equity was a biblical concept, then the concept of Hell would not even exist.

17:09 Matthew 5:8 katharoi in this context means sincere. The sincere of heart will see God. Jesus spoke in parables so that only the sincere of heart would see Him for who He really Is. For the love of God! Why is it necessary to create your own imaginary “interpretation” of God’s Word?
Why not you are extending our vocabulary and disclosing the value of your chosen discovery. Be careful with your youthful enthusiasm. You lost me at, "Social Justice and Equity." I didn't realize that was a biblical statement till you mentioned it. Are you sure?
Awesome question. Never heard social justice. Sounds like some new age prattle.

Unlocking scripture? This is what it has come to? Scripture has now become click bait.
