I’ve been making these for years. I find pre-cooking the bacon a bit keeps the chicken from over cooking. And I usually spoon on some extra brown sugar 5-10 min before pulling them. Extra candied.

These were incredibly delicious... brought them to a party (about 30 bites) they ran out in a matter of minutes.... one pack of thigh (about 1.8 lbs) worked just about perfectly with one pack of bacon... When I do these again, I'll be sure to make more!

I. would marinate chicken in teriyaki sauce first? I also coat the bacon with maple syrup too? cayenne, brown melts together then I paint it on the bacon...can air fry it too? maybe put on pineapple chunk too?
Any recommendations for bringing this to a party? Obviously serving them right off the grill is great, but if I wanted to bring this to a Super Bowl party, how would you recommend handling keeping them warm or reheating them?

If you haven't already you should try his porkbelly burnt ends...I made about 10 lbs of them at my last cookout and they lasted a couple minutes

I do this same thing but with pre-cooked italian meatballs wrapped in bacon and covered in rub. They always go really quick at parties.

Breast meat is overrated, thigh has always been the go to meat along with drumstick and wings.

If you brine a chicken breast, there is no reason why it can't be very tender and juicy. Still not as good as thigh meat, but it is very good.
