I actually bought a beautiful twin to your bike( looks wise) but it had a hole in the block, but I just lucked out and found another exact same k3 w/ 6,700 original miles and now I'm in the process of go fast parts swapping to the new one. I hope some day I can make it half as nice as yours. And I'm Really Sorry to hear about your friend may he Rest In Peace 🙏
Great vid, I purchased mine 2 yrs ago with 50,000m. Various new parts. Brook suspension resprung my forks at 100kg with Ktech valves, and I've just come back from a ride after soda blasting / powder coating rear swingarm and fitting new bearings with a Nitron R2 shock. Lovely looking bikes, 👌
Nice bike, nice mods, mine has a full Yoshi system plus power commander, was dyno'd at 154 rear wheel so that kinda jives with yours as we're at 5,000 feet here in Colorado.
Very nice quality parts used. Im rebuilding my one after a crash 2 years ago. Should be finished soon and this is what Id love to make if money was not a issue . Did get the frame and wheels painted though for a bit of showing off haha. Gloss white for the wheels and graphite grey frame.
Make sure to repack the four bearings in the lower shock bracket. And the bearings in the rear swing arm…I’ve done two 04 gsxr 1000s in a row with dried bearings grease and damage to the bearing sleeves

What is your launch control with? I purchased a pcv only to find out that they don't sell the ignition module anymore. Shame because it's already been tuned and with quick shifter/blipper from the pcv.

I had that bike myself as well, and the first thing that get me excited with bikes like this is the analogue tacho.

It was programmed on the factory ecu when it was mapped
wow I thought it couldn't be activated on the stock ecu. I will have to find someone to do mine
The stock brakes on this bike are phenomenal imo
Mine were terrible . I think if you experienced modern powerful brakes you would then realise how bad they are 👍
