Absolutely. Back in my day as a kid, even I recall that the press simply asked questions and the president answered them. Boy we have taken a nose dive since that era. I grew up in the sixties, and although I have read some sketchy issues regarding Cronkite, he still delivered the news every evening and left the viewers to make up their own minds. There were some other long time news anchors that were decent. The Huntley Brinkley Report. They were good. Don't recall which network? Maybe NBC? There were only 3 {Lol} Even I watched the news back then because it was News. I have deleted all the msm channels. Can not bear them for even 30 seconds. Once the media really outed how bias they truly are, I instantly began noticing their way of lying. And its not news. They report on some of the most ridiculous topics i've ever seen. I came of political age watching Kennedy and the press. He answered questions, had a strong sense of humor, and was accountable. On one occasion a reporter asked a question to which Kennedy didn't know the answer. He told the reporter he would check it out and call him. Two days later the reporter was gobsmacked to pick up the phone and find Kennedy was on the line. Great times

What happened to presidential honesty! I remember my mother talking about gathering around the Radio listening to President Roosevelt when she was young! I took her to museum and watched her stop short in a hurry at a dress! I watched her is awe! When she turned away, the look on her Face was incredible! She looked at me with memories of the past se simply said! The president sent me a dress just like this one when I was very young! We need to have the security she must have had that the President was a hero! When she received this dress she was starting school in the next few days! Gosh the memories of the past.
