@@aktivitat6397 yeah, we tried many things... it can work very good, just experiment... its more logical to try harder strings instead of softer (to keep the tension of the double strings)... but u can try softer, i like soft strings... they are easier to control and have longer sustain... but less volume..
Beautiful composition/ improvisation. So if I understand correctly, in the Ogur Sazi, the 6 strings are separate (like a guitar), and do not run in pairs (courses) like other Saz? Also, in another video on YT, I read that the tuning is G-E-A-C-A-D from string 6 to 1, and that the E is the lowest pitch, while all open string notes are in the same octave. Is this correct and the same as your tuning? Thanks

From my understanding, it's a 6 string kopuz designed by Erkan Oğur. Hence the name "Oğur Sazı."
