  • This is a play through of the my game, White Rabbit Dice Solitaire (Rules v1.37). Note (07/03/2023): v1.38 of the rules have been released that now state, "dice values wrap around, so 1s can trade with 6s".
You can find the rules card that follows along with this play through at: greggjewell.it...

This is a really great improvement on a game "Dice Shift". Thanks for the game!
The rule about "consecutive" trades can be easily bypassed if there are two pairs of dice which can be consecutively played consecutively (like 4-5 and 1-2) - but this can be fixed by forcing a player to "stick" a die to the one which it was traded for. Like - if you traded 4 for 5, you keep both dice "glued" to each other, unless the die is immediately rerolled, or the next trade happens. And you can't use the "glued" die to trade with a die it is "glued" to. This way you can't trick the system and you don't have to remember which die was traded for which one. I suppose that in the original rules you can't trade same dice even if there were some trades in between.

    Can you go from a 6 to a 1? ie does it roll around 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc

I currently have it so you can't wrap around. This was meant to make 1s and 6s harder, but many people have asked me to change the rule. So, play either way you like, but currently the official rule is no wrap arounds. May change in next version.

@@GreggKJewell Actually, thinking about it and playing a dozen games it makes it too easy wrapping it around. I've not lost yet!

@@GreggKJewell 1-6 wrap vs no-wrap can be two difficulty levels.
