Cadet Nando joined onboard our ship just 7 days ago, but now he has to go home.
Being a sailor is not joke. This is very serius profession which requires courage to survive.

Actually Hindi sya nakakaawa dahil na realized nya Ng Maaga na isolated life of a sailor is not for him. Kawawa Yung nasa barko just for the money at Wala talagang passion for the profession. Hope one day they will find the courage and finances to pursue the dreams they are passionate about.

Sa umpisa lang po yan mahirap nag aadjust pa kasi syempre mahirap marami yung dapat mong pagdaanan number 1 yung home sick tapos yung mga kasamahan mo sa barko at lalo na yung sea sick

Having worked on ships for 23 years I have seen many off every nationality throwing in there hand after such sort times on board
In Europe there's no repocutions but in the Philippines agencies have to find others to replace the position and since the seaman left before the contract finished they shoulder the financial burden and also blacklisted from working foreign ships again

ganyan din sa inter-island, mas kawawa kasi walang allowance, buti na lng sa overseas may allowance yung mga cadete.. pero sabi ni sir sa vid, wala tayong magawa sa kanyang desisyon! kaya good luck sa future mo, sir Nando! :) be strong lng tayo mga aspiring seaman!

Parang ako lang, 6 months na po ako sa barko pero unti-unti ko na rin nare-realized na hindi para sa akin ang pagbabarko. 😢

Same here Two months na ako maya apprenticeship for domestic nahirapan kasi wla pa allowance at babayad pa ng Food allowance malayu pa sa Family That's why tithink over kupa yung plans ku 😔🙁
