This is so very cool. Best Y/T video I have watched in quite a while. What an interesting and generous man Scar is. The only downside it that dog Ruby looks like it's being starved to death. Is it old or sick? Sometimes appearances can be deceiving but it looked like an animal cruelty case on the news. Sounds like Boise has gone the way of Austin, TX., infected.
Ruby eats like a horse, but has been suffering a severe food allergy from foxtail encounters for years and just won't put on weight.
It's a common question, but she's nearing 17, and when she does pass, it won't be for lack of feeding or vet care.
Things just don't work right inside her lately, sometimes the food passes end to end unprocessed.
The sores under and over her right eye are both fox tails clearing, and she has another in her left rear foot atm. She hunts too much in the weeds.
This is also why I don't do social media, everyone lately assumes I'd do her harm, few people see the good side in things and assume the worst.
The world we live in I suppose.
My personal thoughts are this: While watching Jims vids, does Jim strike you as the kind of person that would hang out with someone cruel to dogs?
The old expression if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all has fallen out of style but would improve the world.

Ruby is almost 17 years old. She has several conditions going on, one limits her ability to process the food she eats. Scar feeds her a very good special food about every two hours, even during the night when Ruby wakes him. It's just that her body cannot process the food well. If you'd see her out hunting in the fields, you'd be amazed at her energy. No it's not a case of cruelty, in fact, Scar goes way beyond what most people would do to make Ruby comfortable and to keep her healthy. It's just that she is old and like many of us, suffering from the problems that come with old age. Thanks for your concern though!
