it took 5 years to make inside out, do you really think they want to do the same thing again now ? Pete docter already said, they don't neglect the idea of making a sequel but as long as there isn't an Idead good enough, it's not going to happen

I think he meant to say what would be easy in animation. Unlike other pixar movies, the characters in inside out aren't based off of anything that's actually real, which is a great excuse to make the characters as simple as possible

5:26 Because you have to know what you are talking about before you make fun of it. If you just make things up it would be wrong and stupid. For example if I drew a cartoon about france and put a mountain next to the ifelle tower people would think it is terrible. Cartoons are often better when you take reality and caricature it.
