It's just devastating, these businesses have had a rough time even before this what with covid and the cost of living crisis, and the properties that have been damaged oh my God its going to take a long long time to recover from this, it breaks my heart to see all the places I have loved visiting under water like this, and I believe more high tides are expected, my heart bleeds for everyone, you would think that the government would step in and assist with some kind of aid, to help people but I wouldn't hold my breath, keep safe everyone xxx
This is incredible. To think that back in September I had my car parked there for a week while we hired Emerald Emblem from the Ferry Marina boat yard and walked through both car parks in order to have our last evening meal at the Ferry Inn before heading home the next day.
Hi yes a lot can change in a week with weather and big tides combined. The flooding is dropping slightly but each tide brings more water , plus at the end of the month there’s some more big tides .
wow , what a mess , ive never ever seen it that deep , ive seen it deep on the south side of rhe broads , & we've had problems trying to find somewhere to moor , but ive never seen quite that bad on that side .
Not great timing to release this. 4 hours before you posted this Ferry Inn said that "The waters have receded and we are delighted to announce that we are back open on Thursday evening from 5pm with a full bar and limited menu". If people see your video, they're likely to stay away, potentially inflicting further harm on affected businesses?
Hi this was only 2 days ago there no way anyone is driving in or out of there any time soon , the water is still deep as I’ve been past , the only way the pub will open is for boats on the river . I’m sure most people the common sense to check before they venture out . Once it’s clear passage again I will do an update to this video. But for right now the high tides are still coming over daily.
No comments from the broads or environment. Agencies for not do flood defence work properly
The broads flood every year , but never to this extent these are record amounts of water and there more coming soon too .

Great video, mate. Those poor businesses are going to have to go through it all again at the end of the month 😢
Yeah looking like high tides coming again and rain

@@WFAEXPLOREWITHME someone asked on Facebook if it's accessible by road and they replied that "yes - the road has been cleared"
