WHOOOAAA! Face to Face is one of my all time favorite bands. Their sound, lyrics, energy has had huge impact on my life and shaping me into the human I am. Also impacted people in my life I hold dear to my heart. Face to Face litterly changed the course of mine and others lives when we were teens in the 90s. "Disconnected" in particular is a song that spoke to me the second I heard it. I listen to Disconnected all the time and everytime I go riding my bike. To hear it in this version... Floods my heart and mind with a range of emotions, memories, thoughts. There is litterly 25yrs of tears rolling down my face right now and I don't care. Music is powerful and this is an example of that. I'm blown away right now!!
Had no idea this was in the works...Big Choice was the second record I ever bought as a teen in 1995...the first was Leche Con Carne. Still some of the best punk ever made to this day!
Just discovered this album a few weeks ago.. This is absolutely incredible. Shows a mature evolution of the band. They took a lot of pride in this album and it shows. Love it beginning to end.
I want to run to the music store and buy this right now! 🤔 Your tunes came to me... again. It took years to come... Thank you, for being you today.... 🦄
I didn't know how I felt when I first heard this but I know that I can't stop listening. Trever Keith is a great singer and he sounds incredible on this. A great version of one of their best songs.
I remember seeing them at munchies in Pomona. I was a part of the ball of freaks ensemble. I always loved this band.glad to see they are still doing music.i like this but I like the original better. Im not saying it is it's different. I love em both really.
This is an awesome rendition of this song. I saw them do an all acoustic show doing there Ignorance is Bliss album a few years ago. Was an awesome show, and being a long time fan was a special moment to see the songs stripped down to that. I can't wait for this album. A fan since 92' ,and the vibe, lyrics, and just overall message of this band is one of the best there is...... I wish the show we attended with the Ignorance album done acoustically was recorded. They had a full 3 piece string ensemble with them was a really good show. Also for all those haters out there of the Ignorance album I personally think it is one of their best albums. I wish they did more albums like that. I love everything they do, but was a good break from there normal get up.
Derek Moreno .I agree, for me I instantly loved "ignorance is bliss" but I also understand why people didn't enjoy it seeing how big of a departure it was from their typical sound.I always believed it would be looked back on as an extremely underrated album and have a resurgence much like Weezer's "Pinkerton" album. Will always believe that face to face don't get the recognition for their lyrics like they should. The acoustic renditions of these songs are gonna showcase the lyrics that much more which is awesome. Really regret not seeing the tour where they played ignorance is bliss.I'm jealous of all who went to those shows.lol
Derek Moreno “Ignorance” is such a overlooked album and probably my second favorite of F2F catalog. Wish they would of done a follow up to that albums sound.
Big Choice was brilliant, and this song has always made my top 100 of all time. It's cool to hear it this way. Even my wife loves it and she's not a punk fan.
It made my wife a fan, she bought me and her tickets as a surprise, first time I will ever see them since a fan for over 18 years, in 2 weeks, I finally get to see them with her. AWESOME!
Quote From Trever Keith 2013 "Seems to be a little bit of a trend acoustic music happening with pop rock bands in recent years and then growing a little bit and that's cool and everything but this is a very different kind of spin that we put on it and in our typical fashion we always like to rebel against everything. It seems like we're always on the wrong side of what we should be doing but this is like our way of doing acoustic music that feels right for us. I can't see us out there doing disconnected and I want and punk rock stuff in an acoustic way because the songs just aren't meant to be acoustic. They're more visceral and powerful and Urgent and kind of need to have the drums and bass and all that stuff to play the songs properly. They just sound a little pedestrian to play acoustic." Attic Sessions Face to face
Fat Wreckords should have spaced these two albums out or something. It just seems like a lame cash grab when bands are low on ideas. I turned around on 'black out the sky' which i love now, but I can't get in to this right now, sounds too damn similar
This is like an Eagles cover band changed it up by doing one of the best punk songs of all time. It makes me want to smash the entire acoustic section of the nearest Guitar center AND YET I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT.
I was hoping for something a bit more raw. His vocals even sound a bit soaked in autotune. Yuck. Just gimme a good campfire acoustic rendition and I'm good. This is not that. But that's only one opinion from a single crumb.
I love Fact To Face but this calls back to the days when hair bands were on the way out and they all went unplugged...I know 90's melodic punk has been out of style for a while now, but this just puts another nail in the coffin!!!...For those that will scream hatred at me,,think back to you younger self listening to this song for the first time and think would this have done it for you?
This was one of my favorite songs for a while.. then I found out it had an acoustic version and it's now two of my favorite songs
I love this song. Face to Face is such an underrated band.
Like that, i am 16 again back 1996 when i first discovered the band all over again.
I traveled 1533 miles to see these guys play and it was worth every cent.
Loved the original tune in high school, now approaching 40 this is the version I never knew I needed!
This is a timeless classic, play it in any style you choose... A great song is a great song. This is brilliant.

This validates I'm old.. and I'll say- I like this better than the version I moshed to in the circle pit. Feels like I've made it.. y'know?
Todd Foster yessir!
Big Choice kept me alive. In my darkest days, it was the only thing that kept me hanging on.
Yep... 26 years ago, Green Bay! Those were the days. But you're right, this is somehow even better.
No, it's fucked. Still waiting for a decent acoustic version of anything that could be called punk rock.
Had no idea this was in the works...Big Choice was the second record I ever bought as a teen in 1995...the first was Leche Con Carne. Still some of the best punk ever made to this day!
Cesska STO LECHE!!!
Solid choices
This was originally on the don't turn away album.
I remember when i heard this song in 1995, how many good memories, i miss this, thank you guys!
Man, the memories that rushed in my head while listening to this. Good times, good times.

It took years to come...
Thank you, for being you today.... 🦄
This is a freaking amazing version of this classic song. Thumbs up to them So Cal fellas who put this together!
First strung out now face to face. I'm actually really digging the acoustics lately.

Wow. I really needed this.
I didn't know how I felt when I first heard this but I know that I can't stop listening. Trever Keith is a great singer and he sounds incredible on this. A great version of one of their best songs.

This is absolutely perfect
Another acoustic Fat album for 2018,Strung Out and this...great guys
Honestly cant wait to see these guys in the UK later this year, been a fan since '95!
Whoa, I didn't think they would pull this off. Been listening to face to face for, I dunno, 25 years and I've never heard them do acoustic before.
Josh Grimm right? Feels so weird
Wow!! Fuggin Awesome
Marvelous!!
Punk rock so beautiful
Amazing.

I fucking love this song!
Repeat! This is great.
Like it!
Great!!
Awesome tune
Super classic Punk Song!!
Idk if this is feels or not, but it's done really well 😣
I feel like this version would match the ending themes of some kind of serious movies ;)

Muito Bom
The best punk song acoustic
The best......
Big Choice was brilliant, and this song has always made my top 100 of all time. It's cool to hear it this way. Even my wife loves it and she's not a punk fan.

Holy balls, that was good.
This should replace Sarah Maclaughlin in all those weepy commercials.
This song is the definition of beautiful, right next to my loving gf's heart.
16 souless punks ...
x 1.25
Sooooooooooooooooooooo much better!
Damn. Yeah. I didn't even realize that was an option on here but it really fixes things for me.
Good call
frenchkasper151 1.5 sounds like the original
Thought I was the only one lol I like to do this for Blind and Aok as well
"No offense Phil, but there's no way in hell this song is going on the record" LOL

F2F 4 EVER
x 1,25
i think at 1.25x its gets a little better
Tabs?
Do caralho
Not better than the original, but still love it. Are they back??
They have been back, where have you been? :)
On tour right now
Too much crying.
31 people who don't know what they want.
Sounds like F2F covering F2F
The original is still way better, and Im 48 now.
ps. is it jus me or do all the comments belong at cheech n chong .com
norah jones version
Fat Wreckords should have spaced these two albums out or something. It just seems like a lame cash grab when bands are low on ideas. I turned around on 'black out the sky' which i love now, but I can't get in to this right now, sounds too damn similar
(Strung Out acoustic album)
How is this both so great and so awful at the same fucking time?
This is like an Eagles cover band changed it up by doing one of the best punk songs of all time. It makes me want to smash the entire acoustic section of the nearest Guitar center AND YET I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT.
UA-cam needs a sideways thumb button.
X1.25 and you’ll feel better
In a word filled with shitty music comes the acoustic version of a punk masterpiece
No offense Phil, but there's no way this song is going on the record!
ahi normal
A little slow, but pretty sweet
Acoustic music is okay for hangovers, that's it
I was hoping for something a bit more raw. His vocals even sound a bit soaked in autotune. Yuck. Just gimme a good campfire acoustic rendition and I'm good. This is not that. But that's only one opinion from a single crumb.

jarrod landahl yes I do! It's the lyrics and what they represent to me. No matter what style.
But I’m old now - which is why this rules
Fuck you
As much as I love and appreciate this band and have since about 1996...just no!!! This song sounds so forced and weak done acoustically.
Fuck you
Horrible
Amazing!!!
♡
