This is my favourite track.
Jesse Johnson, underrated.
It's interesting because when we recorded this CD, people had a hard time getting into it and now it's a hard to find must have. If you can find it get it!!!!
This is my first time listen to a song off this album. Jesse is playing that guitar. That's what he does play a guitar. On the rock side of the music.
I had the cd until my narcissist ex wife kept my shit as her shit but, I remember it vividly. 💜 Jesse !

I forgot I got this CD from Circuit City when it first released and was expecting the that Minneapolis sound and was disappointed so I shelved it, eventually downloaded it to my computer and low behold I still have it!!! Score!!!

people need to STOP !!! Lenny kravitz don't and can't come close to the soul and skills to have the ability to keep up with Jesse Johnson !!!...Jesse have recorded over 100 guitar solos...he average 2 to 3 different solos on most of his recordings and Very Soulful..he plays with that same Fire of Hendrix and Ray Vaughan and the 3 King's...B.B , Albert & Freddy King

dr troy turner youre telling the truth tho. The only place we're acknowledged for guitar playing is in the blues n thats not mainstream. I laugh at alot of the whites on rolling Stones list. So Ernie isley isn't a top 100 guitar player of all time? Lol so john mayer has contributed more to music than the isley brothers n jesse?! Im a mayer fan but white supremacy n black non acknowledgement are hilarious
i would put him up there with Hendrix for fire solos...his (FUNK) rhythm is better than Hendrix's... Henrix got him in the creativity department

Yea you'll right. I cant get this CD on any of the music apps like Amazon Google pandora or spotify. They act as if was never made. I saw albums on those site most of us never heard of yet no "My Life". Well its darn good I got good taste cause I picked my CD up wh eff n it was released. Yea babe! Yea jesse johnson and lenny Kravitz have similar sounding soul. Wht not. With bad Ass musicians. But for some reason this cd didn't cross over ti well with his core. Maybe not mature enough at the time to appreciate the extent of Jesse's interest. I did. I love music. Good music. There are some good songs on this album...

I totally agree with you. Hesse does rock hard on this... it's a heavy freakin hitter from all angles. The mix is through the roof... the rhythm guitar is meaty and weighty and his riffs are freakin killer. It's a pity this album didn't get the promotion it deserved.
Good stuff he reminds of Lenny Kravitz.
