Great review overall, quite interesting how the Turkish crew didn't want you to film, mad respect for looking up their terms and conditions 😂 also for filming the entire taxi at both takeoff and landing. Although you didn't get the best engine view, seeing the jetbridge close was something new to me. Thoroughly enjoyed, I can see this channel going places! Quite a long taxi innit
Nice video! Had the same flight about a month ago with Turkish but on their A350 Business Class Aeroflot, well I can tell I wish you got that one, huge difference!
An amazing video! It is always a great pleasure to be enjoying your videos and supporting you via my best of my abilities. As always, despite the challenges that we face, continue doing your best to strive with your spectacular work. Although I may not be very present at times, but I’ll do my best to support you as much as I can. I truly wish you all the best, and wishing you and your family a delightful holiday season! 💯🎄👍
Nice, but make sure to note this. I flew on TK6, the evening departure, which is always operated by a 777-300ER. As shown, the 777 has a much more cramped business class config. If you were to go the morning flight, TK186, you’d be on an A350-900, which has a much more modern business class.
@@Random_Eebs Thanks for the update. I am actually the morning departure (TK186), but it is a 787-9 Dreamliner. My return, TK1843 (IST to ORD), is the 777-300ER.
I know i’m two weeks late. Because Turkish Airlines is part of Star Alliance, you would have been able to access United Airline’s business class lounge too.
@@Random_Eebs Correct. However, You can still access terminal 1 even if you have a ticket for a flight in the international. It’s just very inconvenient going through tsa twice and the walk between terminals.
The upgrade from economy is $1,000 USD, they have much nicer seats on their newer 787s and A350s the 787 which they fly to Chicago in the morning daily
Good attempt… Very well written comments. However, the filming was too rapid and jerky at times. Thus may not allow the viewer to focus on the subject matter. Preview your work before posting.
Crappy hard product. Old 777 configuration. I would not even have wasted my time in that Closter-phobic lounge unless I wanted a couple free adult beverages and then exited. They also do not offer pre-departure sparkling wine, which is an option with most other airlines.
Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country, so it is perfectly reasonable for them not to offer alcoholic products. I do agree that the hard product is very old fashioned and not up to the standards of many newer airlines. Turkish does plan on retrofitting them in the future. The lounge is very lackluster though, I do agree. Pre departure alcoholic beverages are not an issue and Turkish shouldn’t have to serve them as a Muslim country

Quite a long taxi innit
Thanks bro. Seeing the jet bridge and not the wing at the gate was kinda trippy lol.
And indeed, quite a long taxi mate.

Thank you very much! You’re a very big supporter and I appreciate that. You have a good winter season as erll
I'm flying the same ORD to IST leg in business class this summer (final destination is Athens). This was an enjoyable and helpful video!

Nice, so you’ll be getting a better product
I look forward on Traveling with Turkish airline one day
Pretty great airline overall
Hello there! I flew on the exact same 777 but on June 18

You should also have access to united Polaris lounge. Should be much nicer.
Yes, but that’s halfway across the airport in terminal 1
I know i’m two weeks late. Because Turkish Airlines is part of Star Alliance, you would have been able to access United Airline’s business class lounge too.
Yes, but I believe it’s located in terminal 1
@@Random_Eebs Correct. However, You can still access terminal 1 even if you have a ticket for a flight in the international. It’s just very inconvenient going through tsa twice and the walk between terminals.
That is technically true
@@Random_Eebs It’s worth it though. Polaris lounge food is delicious.
@@silentsword4104I’ve seen a lot of reviews on it, I’d really like to check it out
777 has more legroom than other new ones. Oh only in Business clas. same seat pitch 31-33 in all plane's economy section, even in A380.
Haven’t been on a 787 or A350 so I can’t say for myself
Excellent review. Very fair. Thanks for capturing the whole journey including the pros and cons. Service should be better than that
Long haul business class with 2-3-2 layout? Hardly worth the price don't you think?

Nice video.
Did the flight had WiFi
Complementary for business class yes, but it was very finicky

Thanks for the feedback. I do understand the jerky camerawork, something I’m working on
nice but disappointing Turk Hava Yollari! BC needs a fast track and the lounge is as mere canteen! Think the BC seats offer little privacy.
I agree
No staggered seats, ugh!
Would’ve been much better

Flying is very scary specially long haul
Flying is the safest method of transportation!
@@Random_Eebs I believe you but I’m scared to death😂😂
Very cheap looking lounge
Quite right
