I actually wish bad things towards the mscenery guy. It’s literally a scam. He’s putting (pretty high tbh) price tags on products that are freeware quality (or worse), and now it’s all on sale so anytime you want to look at jets or helicopters you have to go way down first and hope something cool wasn’t also on sale. Quality over quantity, I’d rather them take their time and make a better plane than keep pushing out junk. SC Designs, I will always trust my money with them because like with their F-5 ok their discord people will ask like when it will be out, and they just say when we’re done working on it. They aren’t just a money grab.
MScenery is a money grab, and it’s absolutely stupid that they’re allowed to put their crap on the marketplace, but good freeware isn’t allowed.

Mscenery should be banned from the marketplace permanently.
I bought a couple aircraft from them because they were cheap and thought maybe they were overhated. I was so wrong.

All due respect - I enjoy your videos - but why fly MS Flight Sim? It just a pretty game - the flight physics are nothing like actual flight. X-Plane is far superior and preferred by pilots overwhelmingly. You can transition from X-Plane into an actual single engine and have some degree of familiarity. MS Flight Sim, not at all. It may be fun, but it's a game.

That'd be great. Like, wouldn't it be great to live in San Diego (like I do) and still be able to eat NY pizza. It simply defies reality, unfortunately.
But I was raised on MS Flight Sim from waaaay back when they employed wireframe graphics. I've owned it down through the decades. Then I tried X-Plane (which isn't without its idiosyncrasies) and never looked back. I got one of the latest MS versions, and couldn't even get it to work right. But the physics were still very false, even at this late date.
But as for graphics, have you seen X-Plane 12? Check out some UA-cam videos - I don't think MS is any nicer.

Yeah that’s because those planes aren’t made by the developers. The devs continually add free planes. Mods can be charged however they want - and most games have paid mods… and just like most games flight sim has free mods too, some (FlyByWire A320 Neo) which are perhaps better than 90% of the paid junk

You get something like 40 planes with the base “game”. Seems fair to me.
Also, it’s a simulator. Most planes are very detailed, with developers who accord a lot of importance in realism.

@@mattyice2889Yes. But those kind of planes don't really have much place alongside things like the PMDG 737 Series, Inibuilds A300, Amazing JF Vulcan (that's the same price as the CS777s) etc.
I'm sure we all know which dev is gonna be all 5 on this list 🙄...

I have it, too. Ended up downloading the Horizon 787-9 and uninstalled the 4Simmers one, wish I could get a refund though. Horizon 787 is free.

@@magb8632 Because the -9 has a longer range because it's smaller. The Horizon 787-9 is free though and that one is great. I did an 18 hour nonstop flight in it.

Why did you buy it? You know there is a freeware 787-9 and -8 by Horizon sim. You still need the default 787 though but it is great

1) dont have a Liveries section for the marketplace
2) dont not remove listings, especially from MScenery. Theyre a scam and no one in their right mind should buy them.
I bought the 787-9 and trust me I was not happy, missing textures on the plane knowing that I needed the 787-10 🙃
Dont get me started on that experimental black jet thingy that can take you into earths orbit. That ALWAYS goes out of control.
The C90 King Air was the very first aftermarket add on I bought for MSFS. I was really disappointed.

I'm kinda surprised no one has stepped in to take that C-130 spot. People would purchase their C-130 just out of spite to that Captain Sim Exterior-only version.

By the way there is no reverse thrust on a C-90 or any other turboprop aircraft. Its called reverse prop. Just an observation
MSFS needs to add 2D panels like FSX or FS2004 to make these planes atleast a bit more useful.
Yeah... Those 2D panels were also why so many low cost addons exist for those sims...
What I don't understand is how they're allowed to be IN the actual sim. I mean, that's so baffling to me.
I wouldn’t count that as a negative for the king air since that’s how the real airplane is. You have to taxi in beta since flight idle is way too fast for ground ops. Just don’t pull your throttles all the way back until after touchdown. The biggest problem I have with the default king air is its inability to slow down in flight.

MScenery makes planes for scenery not for flight, they just add that so you can use them if you want. But they are mainly for scenery

One thing I've learned about the F-86 is not the easiest plane to fly. Then again, I didn't look at the rating when I bought it (I was a little tipsy)

I have the C90. Don’t get me wrong it’s amazing, but you need to know how to use it properly. Annoyingly you have to touch your plane down before idling the engine but it still works great in the skies.
I mean let's face it, there is only a handful of good planes for msfs, with only fenix and pmdg737 being proper study level addons

Lol that’s why im upgrading to premium deluxe next week btw y’all don’t get premiun upgrade it’s 100$ for like 5 aircraft and 5 airports get premiun deluxe it give you 10 airports and 10 airliners so get it if you want the 787-9 to work get it if your not on a budget. I think it relies on the texture of the 787-10 and avionics so get premium from Microsoft store or marketplace in JSF’s I don’t care just pick one if you tryna buy it. By the way delete the 787-9 before downloading premium deluxe it might stay pink if you don’t delete it. Then redownload it simple as crap.

Why buy the 787-9 when there is a better free version? You still need the premium deluxe for the 787-10, but honestly that does not make it bad. This is the exact reason I opted for the Premium Deluxe from the beginning (I get that option is not for everyone, but if you are serious about flight simulator it is worth it)

The worst part is (for us XBOX players) there are many freeware planes that are way better than these paid planes, especially the C-130, and anything MScenery.
Asobo just doesn’t let developers set the price as $0 for some reason.
Msfs honestly has some of the worst physics if you want good phsyics fly dcs if you want to fly big planes fly a modded c130 or c17 i forget which one is better but they are HIGHLY MODELED FREE AIRCRAFT and if you want combat the FREE 94% of the way to 100% fully modeled out A-4E skyhawk
