Great video! Any chance you can show how to modify the freespool on the okuma citrix? I opened up mine and see a wheel showing numbers from 0-6 but no buttons that I can move inside and outside

Okay I've just paused the video to make sure I don't forget to make the following comment: what a genious, actually sheer genious, idea it was to remove the spool to help untangle bitchass birdnests!! That was some nice out-of-the-box thinking! Same rules apply to the Citrix 364LX... could have saved me some trouble =) Gonna watch the rest now!

Do you reckon It is still possible nowadays to break the 25 kg igfa world record for pikes? How many giants are out there? Could a pike be kind of 1.5 + metres and 30 kg?

Yeah the older models have a large ring, just push it with your nail to the preferred setting 🤙 (thnx Snoekvisser!)
Slide that little outer cog with a fingernail whilst holding the spool firmly or else the spool will spin instead of the cog.
Inhad to adjust it from 0-4 but now I have more leverage with a looser outer free spool knob. Thanks all!

Well we edit the footage man, no one wants to watch a 1min fight of a fish. Plus, its much better for the fish to keep the fight short.
