  • Wanja Kamau was a small girl when the war broke out in the early 1950s. Her father, a Mau Mau supporter, was a prominent Murang'a businessman operating in Nairobi. By the early 1950s, he owned two buses and an American pick up truck, a house in Bahati, Nairobi and had also built a nice rural home with a cement floor for his family. His daughter narrates how her father was detained and the vehicles were confiscated by the colonial authorities and converted into military and administrative use. Their goats and other livestock were taken by home guards. The family also had shops at the local trading center, which were taken over and used for accommodation of security forces, home guards and government surveyors involved in colonial land demarcation programmes. The family of a rich man was reduced to penury and forced to live together with their neighbours in deplorable conditions in colonial concentration villages. Life in those villages was characterised by forced communal labour; digging roads and protective moats around the villages, and being forced to slash their own farm produce in order to deny Mau Mau fighters access to food but thereby creating hunger for the people in the villages. The children suffered the most as they were malnourished, jigger infested, and traumatised. Amidst all these, the children witnessed as girls were frog-matched into police posts for sexual assaults. Those who resisted were badly beaten up or killed. It also become clear that colonial counter insurgency measures resulted in great environmental degradation as whole forests were destroyed in order to eliminate spaces where Mau Mau could hide. She also says that she witnessed at least two airforce aircraft falling from the skies after being shot by Mau Mau fighters. #maumau #kenya #africanhistory #africanliberation

That is the real history of the struggle for independence. Everything they are teaching in school is a betrayal of the sacrifices made by those who fought a super power with their bare hands. Thaayo Thaayo

Am from Githambo and this story is so familiar. My grandparents used to tell me about these atrocities. That Chiira was notorious and used to call the Johnnies his brothers. He died a miserable death. He was carried atop the Ford van and no-one gave him any respect apart from his embarrassed family. My grandma showed me where the gishagi was just past Githambo shops. The word gishagi truly comes from "shag" where the young Johnnies would go and rape our young girls. Just a shame.
The late Nahashon Alfred is our neighbour. His son is a famous businessman hapo Kahatia. IYKYK.

God used Satan to free us when Christ was crucified. Satan thought that that was the end of the our Lord Jesus Christ. The white man has been sentenced to a materialistic existence. That's why he gets better with his knowledge of the physical world cz that's his sphere, where he serves his sentence. With a lack of melanin, he does not resonate vibrantly with his environment either, cz he is a slave to the physical world. We the melanated are naturally contextual spiritual and nurturing while he is linear and interacts shallowly. Do not blame him that's his sentence to carry out. You cannot make him like yourself.
We as the children of the most high, our portion is to WORSHIP our God like the Israelites who needed to leave Egypt and worship God but with wealth created by Egyptians given to them freely. The white man was sentenced to bring knowledge to our feet. He knows this and that's why he went around like a psychopath killing and destroying because he understands his place and his sentence. Selah

The white man is a species used by God to bring about certain things to the feet of His children, the black man who are also the original Israelites. The Israelites had to be freed from Egypt by Gods command so that they could go and WORSHIP Him. They left with wealth from Egypt which they used to build God a tabernacle.
The white man was to bring a wealth of knowledge at our feet and leave but he decided the land God gave us would be his until God said no. God fought for his children even when they were out-gunned out bombed, outnumbered just like in the bible days.
The white man knows his position before God as a specie sentenced to physical labors on the behalf of Gods children who are called to worship Him. When you look at the white man he is non-melanated hence not built to resonate with his environment like the black man. He is stoically linear as compared to the black man who is more contextual, spiritual and even naturally a nurturer. He white man knows his place in Gods scheme of sentences and that's why He is better yet grossly lost in the realm of the physical. That's his sentence. He cannot help it and you cannot change him. That's why he went and still hose around stealing and mainly killing and destroying cz deep down he understands his sentencing.
There's a saying that we were only to capture the knowledge he brought and diss his nasty cultural ways.
We must return to our noble cultural roots and reclaim our identity as children of the most high. The Lord wants to bring His enemies at our feet so we must ask 'Why are we not fully cooperating'?

It's important to note that the word "authenticate" can have a hidden meaning of "stop discussing certain topics". This is because these subjects may make certain groups feel uncomfortable or uneasy. For instance, if you are a descendant of "Ngati" and hearing stories about your ancestors' actions sends chills down your spine, it may take up to four generations in your family to move past the haunting effects of their past atrocities.
