Yes,I can understand your problem...there are 3 main identities...always see what we have to prove and choose an identity or identities that will help....but this only comes by practice and making mistakes... fearlessly apply the identities,even if it's not getting you the answer,don't get disheartened...you have now atleast known which route not to take for that question...this is how we all learn and improve...this may sound silly,but I can assure you that in a few days,if you have regularly practiced ,you will have a more accurate intuition abt which identity will work for which question...i have experienced this when I was a student....but don't skip practice..everyday do atleast 2 trigonometry prove that questions...till you feel more confident...there are often many ways to do a prove that question...so go by your instincts...to remember these identities,i have made a shorts video, if you like that way of remembering,it may help...otherwise daily write these identities 5-10 times in a book....till you have learnt them...for most of the people like you and me....hardwork is the only way to excellence....so all the best!!
