Yeah, there are so many titles in the 80's action genre that are missing proper releases. Hopefully they get the message!
Hey Finland! I saw Homegrown Horror vol 3 this week. I only liked HauntedWeed. It was a fun one. The other two was bad bad bad. Revenge has a fun lead and a good premise but was executed so boring.
Red Mob I liked. Russian 90s action that felt like a grindhouse action from the early 80s haha. man that filmed must have had a big budget when you look at all the cast.
China Obrian 1 is so bad it is perfect.
Im not a big fan of Navy Seals but I picked it up because it is a VSU and I need them all.
Crazy fat Ethel is fun but also bad. I sold it after I saw it. haha. But its not bad for a bad-fun watch
the ripper I also sold because I just did not like anything with it sadly. I understand Savini hating the film.
Satans black wedding was also fun watch but not somethign I will ever see again. Just happy I seen them both.
Invasion USA is the best chucky action film I seen.

I most got Deaf Crocodile's titles from the sale. And Sweet Sugar. Gimme some sugar babay.

Speaking of Red Mob, did you get exposed to many (or any) Soviet era films back then, being so geographically close to them, or were iron curtain blocks in place to keep them from getting anywhere outside the U.S.S.R.?
Well, not so much, which is surprising. Mostly Russian films were shown in the cinemas. Some Russian films were distributed on VHS, but this is the only one that I can think of that could be considered a genre film: videospace.fi/release/iskuryhma_vhs_capitol_video_oy
Man, my friends and I were so excited back in the day when we found Ripper at the video store with Tom Savini but it turned out to be a major boring disapointment. It's a piece of crap.
