This is the best of all the After Midnight > Eleanor Rigby > After Midnight of the 80's in my opinion...Keyboards and sounds are all together and jiving all the way through to the peak! I've been searching for this as I only had it appear on one of my shows as a filler....at the end of After Midnight on my tape you can hear the taper, or someone near by (who I imagine has tears running down his face) yelling, "THANK YOU!! THANNNNKK YOOOUUU!!" HAHAHA! Worth the 30mins every time...Bless
One of the best pieces of music ever recorded! From the start, right up to the last note, it’s fiery and furious. I am lucky to posses both the AUD and SBD recording. The AUD gives you great fan reaction but that SBD is so crisp. We need a matrix version!
This show was my second ever GD/JGB tape in the way early 90s (like February 91). My first was a full 100 minutes of '75 Lindley Meadows (yeah, I don't know hot I got that lucky either). This is an amazing show all around , but this particular passage is among the best 25 any iteration of the JGB ever played (imo, of course). I agree with Rm2Fly, definitely the best AM-ER-AM. Jerry is so on fire here, and yet still in completely chill JGB mode. Great jam.
Throwing down the jams

I concur. Out of the few rare versions JGB left us, on this plane, I think this one is the most raw and juicy.
