    My grandmother was my teacher in cooking so she teaches me making rooti in a traditional way and now I am so grateful to my grandmother after knowing it's benifits . thanks for this informational video sir 👍

    2. Use less Chilli powder and alter it with green chillis
    3. Eat ripe bananas, one with black spots
    4. Consume onions in less quantity
    5. Use honey with lukewarm water or milk

    Informative video. One thing I like to mention here is that making roti directly on gas stove causes cancer because some of the fumes of LPG doesnot get burned and stick on the chapati when it is directly put over LPG flame. I have real life examples of 3 of my known families, who follow this procedure of making roti and cancer happened to the family member. So roti must be cooked only on tawa 🙏.

    Bro because of you we have almost reduced 95% consumption of chemicals in our house, we use A2 milk, organic dish, fabric washers and floor cleaners and soon want to switch to organic fruits and vegetables to be completely toxic chemical free. Thank you so so much for your videos.

      @Vykk Yes on the Cleaners also-soap is soap basically & Murphy's oil soap is natural & IF it's allowed to set on baseboard/floor etc-or whatever u are cleaning-it will do most of the work for u if set abt 3-5 min-also on clothes stain can add bleach or Hydogen Peroxide is also very good for Whites-& let both set on sock or other stains & throw in wash.
      Natural & 2 CAP falls on bucket of water is plenty for floor! Smells good too!.

    I figured out the unbrown banana thing when I was 12 or so-i only eat them w brown specks or so-like he says-if u protect the stem with Plastic or Foil they will ripen slower -so leace them out & when no green-cover the stems w (foil) & twist so it scrunched or (watch video) & then they will ripen little slower & won't have to eat all one day!

    I knew roti should not be cook directly on the flame
    But never knew the correct reason behind that as i thought it's harmful as lpg gas gets directly in contact with roti

    I’m from America, and I’m still learning about the Indian lifestyle and way of eating, including the Ayurvedic teachings and a lot of your advice contradicts a lot of what the science studies show. For example, with the banana, when it comes to people who have diabetes and glucose problems, having a green banana might be better as there’s less available sugar for the body to spike glucose, therefore spiking insulin further leading to insulin resistance. But those people should be avoiding higher sugar foods including the banana as well. But unripe bananas have shown in numerous studies to have beneficial effects for positive bacteria within the gut microbiome, as the starch isn’t fully broken down into sugar, it acts as a “resistant starch,” something our body can’t digest, but something that our gut can feed and flourish on.
    The way I look at it is that we should find a balance. If we are healthy and can eat a ripe banana with no issues, then go ahead. But I think we should not totally disregard the gut microbiome as lots of newer research is shaking how important the gut microbiome can actually be.

    Hi Vivek I don't find any harm in eating thin fulka roti as we first cook it both the sides n then keep it on flame to puff it and then it is fully cooked ... and potatoes 🥔 are thik so it takes long to cook on flame so comparison of potato with roti is not worth .... I watch almost all ur video n I agree on all fact but with fulka roti fact sorry dear I don't agree🙏🏻

      Fully Agree with you bro. Fulka are flattened / rolled thin and roasted first on tava and then on flames.Coocked well and no problems in digestion. Vivek sorry to say but you are not right here.

    In your chocolates video a few years back, you memtioned homemade chocolate recipe at the end where you put honey on flame along with Coco powder and coconut oil to make the chocolate. So is that not recommended now as heating turns honey into poison

    I changed the way of making rotis years back thinking that cooking on direct flame is cancerous. But this was also the reason I know now. Thank you.
    I have generally noticed rotis cooked in south they don't cook well. They leave it raw and uncooked but they think it's cooked so I stopped buying rotis and instead prepare only at home

      @@farheenmmka4148 southern parts of India staple food is rice and for northern parts its wheat. Usually they become expert in their respective crops. There is a mere observation and not comparison. Chapatis which are undercooked is not good for health. I have only shared with him. Don't deviate from the topic taking the meaning elsewhere.

    Surprisingly, my dietician suggested to go for fulka instead roti! The fulka shown in this video is way more thicker like paratha! Fulka name itself describes that it's quiet thinner than roti, so it get's properly cooked as it get poofed by steam inside which rotates in circular motion. If unhandled the fulka that steam can burn your fingertips like hell! So why not that steam can cook the fulka from inside? Just roll it thinner!

      I have hear that when roti is a little bit burn like the small spots on roti they are also not good for body because they are burn and we put it on direct flame so I think it's not good to put roti on direct flame

      @@shilpakurhade4377 If I am correct, roasted foods ( _especially blackened foods_ ) can cause cancer, don't quote me on that though. In the US it is recommended while cooking to not roast an eggplant (brinjal) on direct flame for the same reason.

      A puffed fulka can never be raw as it Puffs up only after enough steam has formed inside. The steam cooks it.

      @@aimmethod Since ancient times we Indians cook roti of Jowar & Bajra one full side on pan, another side half cook on pan, rest directly on flame of woods etc.which causes few dark spots on it but not even .1% villagers ever reported with cancer.

    Hi Vivek, is it okay to consume onions in any form for dinner? I usually don't consume onions at all, not that I don't like, just that I'm not inclined. But given it's health benefits especially for hair, wanted to check with you. Also can you please explain the kind of effects garlic leaves on us, like what you have explained here about onions? Also how good is it to consume spring onions?

      From what i know ingredients used to make panchamrut should never be mixed differently( 3 ingridients or 2 of them in different ratios) it is poisoning.. And always take panchamrutam on small quantity.

      May be the milk, ghee and jaggery neutralize its bad effect and overall form a pure amrit. Each and every text of our scriptures had some logic which had been stolen and now after 1000 years of modification it is know as science🙃

    the way of making of the roti that you mentioned wrong is INCORRECT. Try it in some Bengali/Orissa household, the roti is super thin and is also very healthy.
    The way you mentioned correct is normally in UP/MP households and is too thick and thats why you need a wet cloth to be used to make that roti. Making it a phulka roti directly on oven is also rarely possible

    Thanks for this great video. When I asked my mom about it, she denied that the inside of the roti becomes undercooked since she puts it on the pan, then on the flame. In fact, she said that’s how the roti is cooked.

    My mother cooks roti always on tawa, and I just love it
    But whenever I go to any restaurant they just give tawa roti made on Direct flame and the taste was disgusting 🤮
    Really no one matches home cooked food 😋😋

    The hair on my head began shedding significantly following an extremely stressfull period in my life. Consequently, I myself researched the internet & decided to try a hair oil called litttleextra coocoonion and neem wood comb. The results definitely made a difference. Now, my hair is long, thick, dark hair which has reached my waist & trimmed on three occasions after I began using it. Simple and good.     Wheat contains gluten, which block insulin absorption in blood and sugar stays in blood . Eat johar , Ragi(less as it has more calcium), millets in limited quantity and keep changing every week
