Thanks for the update Pete, nice repair job. That welding definitely saved you a chunk of change, it’s ridiculous what they charge for parts. Take care of that back and have a good rest of the week 👍
Had to change the skid on the right side under my MF 725 haybine a couple years ago. I was floored that it was still available from AGCO, but man was it expensive. Luckily, the left side skid was still good. The right side was beyond repair.
Reminded me of when I was patching the skid plates underneath the 213 head of my combine. Looks like a good repair to me, Pete.🙂

Thanks SBF! Kind of similar.
Yikes- those would have been pricey to replace. Definitely worth a little welding to save some $$!!
That's right. I can do a lot of patching for that kind of money.

Thank you!
That’s some great repair work. Best of luck with the haying…👍
Thanks 👍

On this one they got progressively worse from left to right. Think I’ll put a little more tension on the right side springs.
I love those model Allis tractors. Chores never end on a farm lol
For sure! I agree about those hundred series A-C.
Fun to get older
True, but I intend to keep doing it!
Good luck with your hay work.
Thank you!
