Great video! I built the other variant of this MDF ring and I did the exact same thing! Honestly this ring looks pretty darn good. What did you use for the rope? Yarn? Mine was a feral den ring so I used Army painter razor wire and I almost sawed through the rungs stringing it!
Maybe try some felt tip pens for the inset details?
