They changed the tour from when I went a million years ago. We actually went into the most haunted room which at that time wasn't being used due to how haunted it is and was pretty much gutted out ( no carpet, furniture, bare walls). They also talked in more detail of the hauntings. I don't know if they sell this book called Ghosts of the Queen Mary but if not I got an ebook copy from Barnes and Noble. It is a very good book about all the ghosts.

Love the Queen Mary. My wife and I stayed hear before it closed down and while I was hoping for a patrick swayze ghost moment , nothing happened but it was a fun time anyways. Hopefully they bring back the halloween event because that was super fun. The mazes on the different parts of the ship were like mini tours with jump scares lol
Wow how cool 😎 My family and I stayed overnight on the queen Mary back in 2000. It was so spooooky. You look down the hallway and everything was crooked. We did the tour and they let us into the room where the swimming pool is. I walked out. To scary for me 😂If I remember right, it was a long night.

The tour used be be terrifying 20 years ago. They had the water flood scene. The pool tour with the lights, scary music and fog and the little girl screaming at the end then the whole room goes black.

The steam room all it is a huge empty space of the ships hull I saw it back in 1979 it’s a shame they cut out the heart of the Queen Mary her boilers and machinery ran this through the waters in the Atlantic Ocean and also made electricity for this great ship.
I hope some day when Long Beach gets there dry dock they can replace all of the Mary’s machinery

We stayed on the Queen Mary several years ago. In 1994 we took the tour and we went down where you saw how huge the propellers are. The rooms aren't aren't air conditioned. The tub in the bathroom you had to stand like your riding a surf board. I guess people took baths back in the day? It was fun to stay once but I'd look into a roomier room. We did have a porthole.
We stayed there once, awful experience. No A/C in the room and the furniture was not in good condition.. but yes strange things did happen definitely a haunted ship.😮. hopefully someone restores it and opens the hotel...

$25 for me too. It must have been a special fee since it recently opened back up.
Seems like getting a tour ticket at the door is the cheaper way to go. Afterwards you just check out the rest of the ship and hang out for a while
Is it free to go in just like walk around? Or is it only with ticket to enter? Thanks

How disappointing! They really have watered down the tour 😢😢Before COVID, you were taken to the steam room, the room with the propeller, the haunted rooms, the pool, the dining halls and into storage areas deep into the ship. And at times the tour had ghost hunters with their cool devices to contact spirits.
Did they let you walk around the ship?
We have booked an overnight stay on the Queen Mary for mid/end of May. Unfortunately, the hotel ship has not been responding to our inquiries about it for weeks.
Perhaps someone here can provide some answers:
Can we store our luggage before check-in?
Can we access and visit the public areas before check-in?
Will there be any restrictions at that time? Disruptive renovations, closed facilities, etc.

The new haunted encounters tour is disappointing...I mean for 10 dollars it's alright but they used to take you all over and in the pool area...now it's just looking at the empty dark staircases and looking thru windows. I wish I had the money to bring back the original haunted encounters experience
