As a former worship pastor who is on a long break from burnt-out, I say, this is a very key message. And let me tell you, I'm burnt-out from dealing with a lot of problems that resulted from a lack of what is said from this message and I have no say in whoever that is to be put on stage. I really hope this message gets out there.
Performance happens on a stage. Influence and excitement exude from a platform. Worship happens on an altar. We can start by calling the space what it is. Here we set the spiritual tone. Then Anointing and power are accrued in personal time worship of Jesus.
Sincerely, I love this message. A new start if we can practice it. A few months I was choosen to lead audio team. our worship team is about 60 members and if everyone can hear this message and practices it, we are going to make disciples for Jesus. God bless Ms Adaeze!
Worship leader here about to step down in April due to God's call to other things. Love this. We do pray before practice and with pastor before service. But yes we have to focus on him more than the experience or performance.
A performance for Jesus, It's not a bad thing to preform for him and Love Jesus!. You can focus on him more as well with performing and worship you can't rule that out or say you can't do that. Performing Worship is another way of praying to him there is lots of ways you can focus and pray to Jesus. Having that worship experience draws people to focus on him, I agree prayer is very important, how ever you choose to do it with your worship team.
Everything is a performance. The whole "P-Word" debate is just an excuse for lame worship teams to excuse their bad work ethic, poor practice habits and crappy musicianship. "We're not performing so we don't have to be any good." I have heard this a million times in one way or the other.
She didn’t say that performance was not important. She is saying that talent shouldn’t take priority over anointing. The take away is for leaders to guide or form their talented musicians into a Christ filled lifestyle on and off of the stage . Seek the Kingdom of Heaven and all the other things will be added.
@@kendevries3212If you are apart of a worship team, brother you need to step down now. You sound like a horrible demon filled person.... repent and be rebuked!
Wait… Churchfront just posted a video of a black person and it’s not even Black History Month! 🤯🤣 ok, bad joke… but seriously, this was a much needed message!
😞 genuinely went into the verse thinking you were being helpful but now realize it was a dig and stumbling block. I get what the verse means. God used donkeys and would even use rocks if we did not praise him. Be light brother. We need more of it.
I think it's so antiquated to preach as if shacking or "publicly" sleeping around is the only sin.... creative teams struggle with much more. Ie... lack of discipline, gluntony, abusing prescribed drugs, uppers, obsession with different kinds of perversion, and so.etimes.... even STILL gigging at clubs, smoking, EGO, etc..... A lack of sexual purity isn't the ONLY sin. Preach against ALL of it. Not just what triggers p click bait. People struggle with things that are unseen.
Talent might give goosebumps, but only the anointing breaks yokes
Amen
I love this

Nothing worse than being consistently undermined and messed about with when you’ve been given the nod to lead.

As a sound engineer those ear rings should be banned. Too much of a distraction in her audio.

Step 1: Sell your technology UA-cam channel and follow Jesus. Jesus has no need for your technology.
I think necessary means to spread the gospel is alright. That would include social media.
@@dommorris96 “necessary means” - by that you mean multimillion dollar performance venues full of the latest and greatest automation gadgets?
He doesn’t need it but I’m sure there’s lots of homebody’s so He can reach them.
