A while ago I posted a playlist of my all time favorite Linkin Park songs on fb, ending with this song. As I looked back now and listened to this final track that I shared, reminded of his death in paper as his own doing, thinking of the circumstances with the darkness that surrounded his past and end. I cried a little. Not when he died but today. Revisiting my adolescence, learning more about the reality around us and just thinking his pain was prophetic or he saw this coming someday. It just struck me as particularly saddening, but I'm thankful nonetheless for growing up with these songs. "I'll face myself. To cross out what I've become. Erase myself. And let go of what I've done. So let mercy come." His peace is our memory, his inspired voice a goodbye.
This song represents my live in a more harmless way. I have done many stupid things during my livetime and now have to live with those. But there is no new beginning and we should be lucky that it is like that, because without consequences we wouldn´t learn from our mistakes. In the End i hope to be a better human being by not making the same mistakes.

LP Has never written a bad song, continues to make very original music, never gets old, and has morphed over the years positively while staying relevant and relatable. FOB is still great though.

For whatever fucking reason, I rejected this band for many years and then came this song... Raw honesty, brilliant mature lyrics, powerful chords and melody... Just wow 👏👍 I changed my mind and listened to their whole discography, great band, RIP Chester Bennington
I remember when I was like 5 and heard Linkin Park, my older brother had a few albums. To me it sounded like heavy guitar and indiscernible shouting. Now I can hear these songs and I wonder, "What the heck was I thinking, this is good!"
