Get your cats a couple of cat trees that they can climb and they have a little boxes or ledges for them to sit on and then they can go up and feel safe. They certainly don't feel safe right now and if you don't correct that they will start acting out and cause a lot of problems. Also, just not a good idea for the kids too. Be unkind to the animals. You certainly bought your family along way. You look very good. The children are healthy, smart, and beautiful. Much to be proud of.

Maybe the children should go to a couple classes on how to treat animals. The cat is not just scared but terrified. I would hate for the cat to injure the children or the children physically injure the cat. I am sorry to say but cotton looks traumatized.
You have too many comments to check if this has been said already. If rice is refrigerated fo at least 12, it won't spike your insulin levels. As a type 2 diabetic, i learned this from my nail tech. I tried it and checked my insulin level before and after refrigeration. Insulin level doesn't move at all after 12 hours of refrigeration.

@@diannainkorea for snacks right now I get cheese and Greek yogurt and some good quality snacks bars that are all natural. I am not doing keto I'm going pescatarian. But I try and limit carbs. I make my own smoothies and milkshakes so I think I'll look into making snacks
Cheese and greek yogurt are great options! There are a lot simple snack options that I learned over time through social media. I like that you're limiting carbs. Keep going strong!:)
