  • Using pressure flaking to make a knife out of glass. These same techniques can be used with flint, obsidian, or other suitable stone materials.

    I found a thick chunk of glass while camping that I kept, it's from the really old days, it's about a half inch thick almost exactly, would it be possible to make a knife out of that if I brought it to a professional? Something like that seems to be really rare to find nowadays, as modern glass is rarely that thick.

      Online would a good start. If you go the abo route you start with a few granite rocks and an antler. Or you can try and make your own tools. Good luck.

    Hey could you post what kind of stone you are using to make these things because I am a bush crafter and there has been a few bobcats and mountain lions and I need to watch out for them so I want something primitive to do so like all my other tools
