The candle shaped “lights” and the angel, especially one that large are older than 1977-78 when I made these trees in a Saturday ceramics class. I actually have a matte pink tree with glass marble type lights from the 50’s... I too have a massive ceramic tree collection😊

Hi Renee, love your channel, especially now its daily show. When I saw the large bowl, I immediately thought of a plaque I bought in Sicily. It's the emblem of the island . Maybe your bowl is an interpretation of it.
I was yelling for you to take that interesting bowl and was so glad you did. Let us know if you find out anything about it. I would have bought a ton of that stuff at the 25 cent sale knowing that I could get at least a dollar each for many of those things at the flea market. I have seen many of those ceramic trees and the one you found is more detailed than any I have seen so I am glad you are thinking about keeping it. I love the angel topper for it, they usually have just a star. Those red and green stands were for some of the earlier artificial trees before they started making them with lights included. We had one like that back in the 60's or 70's. Thanks for another fun video!

It gives me wonderful grandma feels🥰 I can perfectly envision early childhood Christmas’s with my grandma having that tree as decor, same with the plastic garland. Call me crazy but I prefer it over the ceramic tree😂 I’ve sold a ton of stuff like that on eBay and get good money for it.
So many amazing things. My favourites were the Rudolph head and the ceramic Christmas tree - which I would definitely keep! And the amputee elf could be put inside a small container with just his one hand and head peaking out.
The 25cent would have been a good one to stock up on items to sell at a flea market, as many of those items one could easily get a couple of dollars for.
That 10$ box reminds me of the vintage Halloween box I found with old blow molds cardboard pics and old Rosen candy containers..in an old barn in the country..I was so happy that day..love your tree 🎃👻 love your great channel..we collect the same stuff..🎄

Love Rudolf- 25 cents! Take him off that wreath and put on a burlap or grapevine wreath. Or hang on wall with big frame around him. Sell plastic greenery garland at flea. Some people love it. I have plastic candle wreaths I love. I grew up with that.

What a fantastic tub of goodness! I love the treehugger elves! I have 4 that were from my grandparents house. One was in terrible disrepair but I took him apart and completely remade him. I absolutely love them. Your star angel tree topper was lovely and that ceramic tree was the gem. Loved seeing all these things!
Gosh where to start! I adore the Rudolf. He's super cute as are the elves and, even more, cute because they've been loved a lot. Of course I love the tree. The leaves really stand out on this one and it's huge! I covet one of these trees they are so pretty. The bowl is also pretty. When you were looking at it I was hoping you'd get it. It's got that gorgeous vintage creamy colour. The box of goodies for $10 is a bargain which ever way you look at it. Great score and thanks so much for sharing x

I'm not entirely sure, but I think what you are thinking are the three little elves on the shelf, might be vintage Kellogg's Snap Crackle Pop Rice Krispie elves. They might have been vintage send away with the Box Tops or that they were included one per box and you would need to try to get all three by purchasing more boxes for the Box Tops or for the opportunity to get one out of a box wrapped in like a wax paper wrapping if I remember correctly
I get just as excited when I see the little elves. I always imagined them coming with a list of where they spent their Christmas and how old they really are. I save all kind of Christmas stuff. I just bought 4 plastic storage bins with vintage Christmas balls. What a delight for me! Shiny brite.

I can tell you've found something special when you have a big smile on your face, I smile as well because I know there is going to be a good surprise. It's catching. On the Globetrotters poster take to a frame and picture framing shop and they should have something to help take those spits off the poster. I'm not sure on posters but I found a picture that had some ink in places on the picture but the lady at the frame shop got them off for me and now I have a Greg Burns black and white St Anthony Hospital picture framed and it is beautiful. She did a really good job you can not even tell it ever had ink on it anywhere.
So glad to see someone else that likes those trees. I repainted a Christmas tree for my mother-in-law that was given and painted (not glazed) by her mother. It has ornaments molded into it and toys around the bottom of it. I've never seen one like it.
Jennifer Enslin oh, I bet that’s awesome! My mom had her own kiln back in the early 70’s. She made a lot of ceramic trees, lots of different sizes. I have the biggest one, the base is almost 24 in across. I also have two smaller ones, I’ve never seen any that had presents🥰
Up here in Canada, people would gladly pay 85.00 to 100.00 for that ceramic tree. It's really unique, and the candle lights I have never seen before! That was truly a treasure find.

The saber saw is an oldie...with the cast polished aluminum body. That last sale, the guy had a couple of 70's auto classics. Rudolph is a neat piece...especially in ceramic. Barry Manalow and Neal Diamond were two singers whose records I'd break anytime. Stands for plastic or aluminum trees. The ceramic tree has really nice branch detailing.

I googled the model...and saw it as an example of this model, the licence plate was the give away. Two door, blue body, white vinyl top and interior...in my leisure suit behind the wheel...couldn't be more 70's than that!! Today have a 2006 Chevy HHR...bought new...14 years old...my, how time flies!!

My MIL was another mom to me. I’m thankful I have her ceramic tree and her aluminum 4 foot tree. We were close, most of the time. Hopefully no one threw all the Christmas in boxes and didn’t let her know. Anyway, great finds. Hope you find some more “mystery” bags from your favorite house. Love your videos. Hi Renee, the two color wheel bases are for fiber optic Christmas trees. Not vintage, but fun to display at Christmas. Too bad the trees weren’t in the tote! Everything’s a quarter! I like it when people price stuff to SELL!
Hi hon. Just started watching you utube and I really enjoy. I'm sorry I'm leaving this message on this adventure, but I cant find the one I just watched. I watched the one with the cat with a rubber stopper though and I was going to comment and lost it. I believe that was a cloths sprinkler. My grandma would dry on clothesline. Then before she ironed she would get her sprinkler and dampen enough over dry cloths and the ironing went perfect. All wrinkles came out. Just like irons of today...just built into iron now. The rubber stopper she used would fit into many bottles.

Hiya Renee, the bowl looks to me like art nouveau, possibly arts & crafts (not deco, too many fluid lines vs geometric), a stylised version of the ancient Celtic triskelion. Represents the cycle of life, the earth. When you said birds around it, made me think so even more as there are so many Celtic stories involving birds. That’s about all I got on that one😀! I hope you keep the tree, it is worth money. Look them up on ebay before you decide to sell it. I have never seen the candle lights or the angel. Most have a star for the topper.

I found a tree at a thrift store for $24 and bought it because my grandma always had hers out. The one I found has a chip on the tip but happy coincidence when the lights are on in the dark the chip actually shines a star on the ceiling 😁♥️
How neat! And that makes for a great story too! $24 isn't a bad price for one that you are going to keep. Much cheaper, and safer, than buying one online!

I have 2 green, two white and a large gold ceramic trees. They look so nice grouped together and lite up. I had more but sold them. I have never seen candle bulbs or angel topper. I have also never have seen my gold tree either.
I have one white as well, with light pastel colored lights glued in (great for spring time). I also have never seen a gold ceramic tree, you might have the only one!
Nice Christmas ceramic tree...Love the way the branches look so real. I have never seen one like that. Your plate with the ladies on it looks French and I'm with you on the Art Nouveau time period. The birds also give it a French touch. Please let us all know what you find out:)

That tree is better looking than 90% of ones I have seen. You can touch up the chips wit Testor's ENAMEL paint the kind they use for model cars.

My MIL was another mom to me. I’m thankful I have her ceramic tree and her aluminum 4 foot tree. We were close, most of the time. Hopefully no one threw all the Christmas in boxes and didn’t let her know. Anyway, great finds. Hope you find some more “mystery” bags from your favorite house. Love your videos. I know I’m looking at vintage paper in a different way!

Hi hon. Just started watching you utube and I really enjoy. I'm sorry I'm leaving this message on this adventure, but I cant find the one I just watched. I watched the one with the cat with a rubber stopper though and I was going to comment and lost it. I believe that was a cloths sprinkler. My grandma would dry on clothesline. Then before she ironed she would get her sprinkler and dampen enough over dry cloths and the ironing went perfect. All wrinkles came out. Just like irons of today...just built into iron now. The rubber stopper she used would fit into many bottles.

Hiya Renee, the bowl looks to me like art nouveau, possibly arts & crafts (not deco, too many fluid lines vs geometric), a stylised version of the ancient Celtic triskelion. Represents the cycle of life, the earth. When you said birds around it, made me think so even more as there are so many Celtic stories involving birds. That’s about all I got on that one😀! I hope you keep the tree, it is worth money. Look them up on ebay before you decide to sell it. I have never seen the candle lights or the angel. Most have a star for the topper.

For 25cents, I would have bought them except most had lots of staining. I wasn't sure if soaking/washing them would damage the body, so I passed.

I found a tree at a thrift store for $24 and bought it because my grandma always had hers out. The one I found has a chip on the tip but happy coincidence when the lights are on in the dark the chip actually shines a star on the ceiling 😁♥️
How neat! And that makes for a great story too! $24 isn't a bad price for one that you are going to keep. Much cheaper, and safer, than buying one online!

Your hair really looks beautiful! Your Christmas finds make me jealous. South Florida has almost no vintage Christmas items. Most people that moved here in. The 40s and to present wanted all what was considered modern or beachy.

I have 2 green, two white and a large gold ceramic trees. They look so nice grouped together and lite up. I had more but sold them. I have never seen candle bulbs or angel topper. I have also never have seen my gold tree either.
I have one white as well, with light pastel colored lights glued in (great for spring time). I also have never seen a gold ceramic tree, you might have the only one!

Nice Christmas ceramic tree...Love the way the branches look so real. I have never seen one like that. Your plate with the ladies on it looks French and I'm with you on the Art Nouveau time period. The birds also give it a French touch. Please let us all know what you find out:)
