It's easier to slip and fall on hardwood than it is on carpet. People spill drinks, as well as some that have bathroom accidents. This would cause more slip and falls which would open up the casinos to different potential lawsuits. Carpets are a safer option.
Talking like a true gambler, a profit is a profit and not talking like a greedy gambler trying to get as much as they can I give that a A+ 🎩 off one of the best conversations ever on UA-cam about gambling
In the gaming area, broadloom is still preferred over hard surfaces for a number of reasons. The carpet installation absorbs sound, and because of high traffic and the placement and repositioning of heavy slot machines, it’s better to use broadloom rather than a hard surface that will be partially hidden by the machines and scratched when the machines are moved. In addition, most resorts run conduits under the gaming area to hide cables and electrical wires.
The rug question .... The rug answer it's all about decor and probably safety issues cuz people tend to drink a little bit too much and then lose their balance😂😂
The carpets are designed to make it impossible for you to walk through the casino looking down. It's a subliminal nudge for you to keep your eyes up at the gaming. Everything is designed to entice you to play and linger. Sight, sound, scent, and perks
Speaking of casino carpets, I used to play in a casino (since closed) in Sarnia, Canada, that was on the St. Clair River, whose carpets featured little round, gold, circles that looked very much like the quarter coins that I was using. If you dropped a coin on the floor, you almost had to get down on your hands and knees to find it.
The high limit episodes are fun. But love seeing more realistic bets also. I still watch every video, but the 1.80-5.00 relate to most people like myself. I think they have carpet for slip & fall lawsuits. Also like somone else said, to asorb the echo. Hope to see you guys this month when I visit Vegas . It will be my 1st trip of 2024.. It has been 8 longggg months since I was there! You guys are the best!!
On the Frankenstein game, always look through the denominations to find the most multipliers on the board. Best payouts happen in free games with 5-8 multipliers on the board which stays locked during the feature. Any Frankenstein head on a It’s Alive feature outside of free spins resets all multipliers. Good luck you two, very nice job with your content and overall demeanor….
Speaking of carpets, I think the palm leaf carpet in the "original 47" rooms section of the El Cortez, is so nice and nostalgic. It really has that 1940s look and feel to it. 😊
The carpet thing is a throw back from early Vegas if you ever look closely after you have been staring at the machines for a long time and you look around, your eyes are drawn to look at the carpet. The patterns in it help relax the eyes and there are Suttle hints to direct you to a table game, certain triangles of various colors pointing to one table or another, each color will your brain will pick what color triangle to follow due to how your mood is. Nowadays they point to not only table games but to high roller areas if you are already in there you might only see the colors for directing you either the craps or (ruelett? ) (can't spell worth a darn) table game or maybe the poker room if you also notice there are no clocks this is so you lose time when you play you'll notice no floor attendant wares a watch nor do dealers only floor bosses do to keep track of employees time if you do play tables and the floor boss comes and changes the dealer it's either their break, lunch, dinner or time go home this was the real reason the casinos didn't want cell phones to be used in them they have time alarms that can be set and break the physiological hold on players. It was only when they noticed the up tick in players who followed the first UA-camrs to the casino that they started to allow cell phone use.
Had the same experience with Frankenstein. Bunch of power ups that never hits, bunch of “it’s alive” with no Frankenstein stein heads, bonuses that pay at most half of what is lost, and didn’t even know about the fire heads. However, was still fun testing it out on low roll. Prolly won’t be playing it again.
Casinos have “busy” carpet designs because gaming floor engineers have proven that it makes people look up and not at the floor which encourages players to see a machine they want to play…
Carpeting hides a multitude of issues like litter and spills. They shampoo carpets in the overnight hours when the casino is not as active. Also, carpeting is a good acoustic absorbing material. If hardwood or title, the noise would be unpleasant.
1:42 💥💥💥😬😬😬 12 spins at three dollars and she does not even win a cent?! That is crazy… This is what I called the good old fashion bells, and whistles slot”!
Carpets are a sound damper. Casinos are already loud, imagine all that echoing off a hard floor to hard walls. Also the busy patterns help hide spills and keep people's eyes upward, on the games and not at the floor.
It is stated that they have carpets with loud designs in casinos to help cover up spills of drinks, dirt and blood between cleans as the casinos are running 24 hrs
Carpet is definatly there to prevent slip and falls its also easier and cheaper to replace high trafic areas that's why almost all casinos clean there carpets everyday to prevent dirt building up in those high trafic areas that's what wears carpets
Carpets were really a thing back then but I also think it was from the days when coins were being inserted into the slots and if it drops it would go far and make a noise.
Casinos generate a lot of loud noise. If all the surfaces in the room were hard, that noise would be amplified even more as there would be nothing to help absorb it.
On my last getaway with the Mrs, I kept my bets under $2 bucks and took home more than we spent for the whole trip. It was a very pleasant surprise. I got to put a little something away for another trip.
I actually have an answer to the carpet question you have, when the casinos got carpet it was to help the sound and any spillage and hides the power outlets and cords to the machines, but then they were having problems pushing the carts of change on the carpet because of the weight of all the nickels etc. this was before your time like 15 y ago that's when most went to tickets only besides making counting and bookkeeping easier. But if you notice the design of the carpet is butt-ass ugly, and the design is to keep people from finding money someone may drop but the security and staff know what to look for, so when someone on the cams sees a 20 on the carpet they send an employee over to pick it up. Also, I won't tell you the casino but one time they had a guest whose feet smelled so bad after he left they had to shampoo the carpeting, I know this because he was sitting next to me and I couldn't take it and moved to another machine. Idk if what I told you stands true to all casinos but I asked and these were the answers I was given from a floor manager.
Not slippery when spilled drinks are on carpet sound sound sound and the acoustics of the casino or more muffled and enclosed with carpet everything is safer with carpet
I'd guess carpet tiles are significantly cheaper than wood floors... hardwood or softwood. And, my camera roll is full of carpet shots from all of the casinos, wood would be all roughly the same.
Hardwood is slippery, people are more likely to fall and sue. Also carpets give some amount of cushion for employees who have to stand on them all day. Finally hardwood would get scratched every time they move a machine.
Old Vegas so rich and elegant the chandeliers and beautiful plush carpeting is casino class. Stop and notice when you go in the casinos every casino is different the carpeting. I personally have never got shocked so you must drag your feet. And that's why casinos have carpeting and this old school hope it always stays that way. Plus there's lots of people that wear high heels especially in Vegas and it's harder to walk on slippery hardwood floors than carpeting with stilettos
The reason for the carpets is to camouflage casino chips that fall on the floor as they sweep up $1000s of dollars every night this is the reason for them and there wacky designs
Carpet absorbs sound better, and is safer when drinks are spilled.
exactly carpet cuts down on the sound otherwise it would really be blasting and it does hide dirt and saves on people falling
I think it's because hardwood floors are a slipping hazard!!! When drinks are spilled.
Bingo
It breaks my heart when they lose money on slots. I wish big jackpots happen in the near future for this fun, cute, young couple!
I think the busy patterened carpets hides the spills & keeps your eyes on the prize (The games). Who wants to look at that for too long.. 😁
That’s exactly why. They want you to be hypnotized by the light and sound of the shots
They're great when you're high af
yes carpet tones the sounds down and hides dirt and spills
Thanks for doing smaller bets and every thing you both said on betting was right on Target
It's easier to slip and fall on hardwood than it is on carpet. People spill drinks, as well as some that have bathroom accidents. This would cause more slip and falls which would open up the casinos to different potential lawsuits. Carpets are a safer option.
Exactly you saved me from opening my mouth lol.

My Faveorite Slot Channel!🫡
Let's GOOOO!!!! I like when you cap your betting at a lower amount. As Greta says, "More realistic"!

Great content. Keep it up. Congrats on growing your channel in such a short period.
The rug question .... The rug answer it's all about decor and probably safety issues cuz people tend to drink a little bit too much and then lose their balance😂😂
Lovely Greta you got this win big. Show that pretty smile.
Carpets are in casinos for a few reasons. Most important are spills, slips / falls, and to keep focus on the casino.
The carpets are designed to make it impossible for you to walk through the casino looking down. It's a subliminal nudge for you to keep your eyes up at the gaming. Everything is designed to entice you to play and linger. Sight, sound, scent, and perks
The carpets help deaden the sound and are more comfortable to stand on.
its warmth and cozy lol makes you wanna stay
you go girl! destroy the FRANKENSTEIN slot!.

My AoD for your QoD: I think casinos install carpet for noise abatement. Can you imagine how much louder it would be if they didnt?
Slip and falls on hard wood ice 😂😂😂 sound, hide stains why do you think it looks like puke picasso
Number one answer me!! 😂
The carpet thing is a throw back from early Vegas if you ever look closely after you have been staring at the machines for a long time and you look around, your eyes are drawn to look at the carpet. Casinos use carpet to control sound- the carpet absorbs sound whereas hard floors echo sound and it would be unbearably loud!
My guess is that non carpeted floors could be a safety hazard. Spilled drinks etc people could slip and fall
Hardwood floors are harder to maintain than carpets. Also, it would be very noisy with high heels walking on them.
I think hard wood would have potential for spills and slips
It would, but it would also make cleaning up a drink a breeze. 😊
Are you guys bored yet. 🤣
I am. Boring machine with low bets.
My opinion is that they have carpet to make it feel comfortable for us to stay longer, for example like being home! 😉
Casinos have “busy” carpet designs because gaming floor engineers have proven that it makes people look up and not at the floor which encourages players to see a machine they want to play…
It also helps prevent people from running into each other from bebind... Unless they're looking at their phone of course. 😊
Carpeting hides a multitude of issues like litter and spills. They shampoo carpets in the overnight hours when the casino is not as active. Also, carpeting is a good acoustic absorbing material. If hardwood or title, the noise would be unpleasant.
The reason for the carpet is the liability for older and regular patrons due to slipping sliding on regular hardwood flooring
Another great video 😁 have a great night 👍
Carpet is better on the slot attendants' feet since they have to walk over ten miles per shift.
1:42 💥💥💥😬😬😬 12 spins at three dollars and she does not even win a cent?! That is crazy… This is what I called the good old fashion bells, and whistles slot”!
They intentionally place ugly carpeting to keep your eyes on the games
Casinos have carpeting to disguise spills and stains from all the foot traffic!!!!
The carpet dampans noise...no clicking of shoes to distract patrons...plus believe it or not it isolates the noise of the machine to one spot
Hi. Greta and
Pompsie. Good. Luck 🍀
Hello friends I like that slot machine tooo!!! Good luck 👍🍀
The carpets help with acoustics, that sounds good right?
Carpet is a safety issue. Hardwood floors or marble hard flooring are prone to slips and falls. Also carpet acts as a sound barrier as well.
Carpet absorbs spills. Spills on smooth flooring may cause falls.
Was just getting ready to say that.
And become really sticky.
I have NEVER had a static shock in a casino. Of course I also pick my feet up when I walk.
Carpets are a sound damper. Casinos are already loud, imagine all that echoing off a hard floor to hard walls. Also the busy patterns help hide spills and keep people's eyes upward, on the games and not at the floor.
So people don't slip when there drunk, lol lol!!
Good luck guys ❤
It is stated that they have carpets with loud designs in casinos to help cover up spills of drinks, dirt and blood between cleans as the casinos are running 24 hrs
They have bright colored carpets which are supposed to make you look up so you’ll play more. Also the noise
I think hardwoods would be a slipping hazard. But also, the carpet helps with the sound from echoing.
Probably safety reasons
Because of the noise and if you spill drinks the carpet absorbs it less is a slip and fall
The carpets used to be the colors of the casino chips to make them hard to find when they fall. Then the vacuum picks them up.
Lmao is the hunchback "Igor" supposed to look like Trump?
Carpet is definatly there to prevent slip and falls its also easier and cheaper to replace high trafic areas that's why almost all casinos clean there carpets everyday to prevent dirt building up in those high trafic areas that's what wears carpets
Probably it absorbed noise and maybe easy to vacuum
It might keep the sounds from ecoing off the walls and floor
I think they have carpets to buffer the sound a little and you can’t notice the dirty stuff as much on patterned carpet.
I think that Canadian casino might still be open?. It's called Point Edward Starlight Casino.
Awesome machine! Let’s finger dance, Munster be alive
Reduces the echo/noise
Carpets were really a thing back then but I also think it was from the days when coins were being inserted into the slots and if it drops it would go far and make a noise.
Casinos generate a lot of loud noise. If all the surfaces in the room were hard, that noise would be amplified even more as there would be nothing to help absorb it.
What are you gonna ask Cito why they have carpets lol
I think of gambling as entertainment a win is a bonus
On my last getaway with the Mrs, I kept my bets under $2 bucks and took home more than we spent for the whole trip. It was a very pleasant surprise. I got to put a little something away for another trip.
2:59 they took 2/3 of her money in less than three minutes… Insane! This is a terrible game
Carpeting keeps you alert and awake
❤🎉 WIN THE BIG JACKPOT 🎉❤ GOOD LUCK 🤞
Not slippery when spilled drinks are on carpet sound sound sound and the acoustics of the casino or more muffled and enclosed with carpet everything is safer with carpet
The busy designs keep you unaware of time and also.sound buffer
carpets help with controling the noise of machines etc

Finally hardwood would get scratched every time they move a machine.
Carpets are used to help absorb and soften the sounds from all the machines, people, and games.
Maybe it cushions a persons fall if you fall down from being drunk . lol no I think it’s because it feels cozier then a cold floor
Too many people would fall on hardwood or linoleum floors, one drink spill and boom 💥
I agree as long as I make twice the amount I’m playing with 🎰 I’m happy with that 🎉😊
Pompsie: Carpets are quieter and cheaper.
Those Frankenstein heads look like John Cena(WWE wrestler)
Probably cause they want you feeling as comfortable as possible so you dont wanna leave
Also, I noticed the symbols are hard to match up for the bonuses and free spins
It’s cheaper to replace old stained carpet than payoff drunks and senior citizens who slipped on a hardwood floor.
Didn’t realize you can get a fire head on small bet
Old Vegas so rich and elegant the chandeliers and beautiful plush carpeting is casino class. Stop and notice when you go in the casinos every casino is different the carpeting. Hardwood you'll have people slipping then suing. Casinos can't have that.
It's about the sound. It stops echos
Did i hear Vegas Matt and his team in background?
Wood floors in Vegas climate would be slick with air conditioner
It's called law suits if an old person falls on hard floors they break hips and sue.
So their dogs don't slip and break a leg. So if they fall, it won't hurt as much. ❤
They put carpet in because people old an young from not tripping or if someone falls less chance of getting hurt.
Muffle sounds are less slippery. 😊
I've seen One Person hit it big on the Frankenstein Game. I can't remember what she was betting.
It buffers some of the noise..
The reason for the carpets is to camouflage casino chips that fall on the floor as they sweep up $1000s of dollars every night this is the reason for them and there wacky designs
