The 3 berserker sisters at once fight was easily the hardest boss battle I’ve ever endured. Not even the king brought me as much trouble as them.
dude i would try to knock out the 2 smaller ones first and it wasn’t working. finally went after the big one and just evade all the stupid distant attacks. shit took forever. definitely harder than the Valkyrie Queen

they are the last berserker I have yet to kill. Then its the king. I almost did it but wish me luck
The axe's runic attack you get in raven's chest deals a lot of damage to sisters (almost half of their hp bar) and also for the big one.
They are at half of their hp at the start of the fight

What made Heimdall's fight so good to me was how he was portrayed in the fight. Clearly he hasn't had to legitimately fight someone in a long time if ever since by the end of the fight his attack are anger fueled, reckless and ironically predictable to me. Even at the beginning of the fight you can see it when Kratos attacks him. First volley - Wide arced punches, Second faster more concentrated, and finally third is when he can tell how much actual fighting experience Heimdall actually has and considering how he acted like Kratos wasn't allowed to hit him, it isn't much. In short he relied way to much on his prediction ability and without it he never stood a chance.
What I LOVED about it was kratos was trying not to intervene with the gods etc, but since his son is involved he put everything aside to protect his son no matter the cost.. it just happened to start a war lol
They were right, that spear was really tailored to Heimdall's defeat. He's the only boss to get stunned by a spear that's a few feet away. Try that with Thor and he'll hit you with a ⚒️
True but instead of being shocked I wish he was hyped that someone has finally hit him like “whoa you actually hit me. Finally a true challenge
That was the most satisfying fight for me. I hated the character since he appeared and the punches and the choking were very pleasant to me. Very well done part

Gna was by far the most difficult for me personally, but Odin's was the most satisfying. Great job on the video Aaron.
To be fair I haven't had a real challange like in GoW 2018. I beat GNA quite easily comparing to what I have endured with Sigrun... Spent good hours battling Sigrun where with GNA on my first attemp I've taken 3/4 of her life. I'll wait for Game Plus on Hard to see if perhaps GNA lives up to the expectations.

@@mSportZxI beat Gna on Give me god of war difficulty. Took me a lot of trial and error. You have to play almost perfect because she can kill you in 1 or 2 hits. Didn’t help that she was one level above me since she was level 9

The Berserker King is by far the Hardest Boss his huge health pool and unblockable spam once he gets low on health was agonizing.
Honestly, I agree. I spent a long time on him, and by the end he started spamming his attacks, which I luckily parried with the parry shield every time, so I was extremely relieved to have defeated him, as well as getting the platinum for it, since he was the only boss away from me getting it.
@@oleksandrfradkin6199 Yes it was so frustrating when the unblockable spam started. Imo you should clear the hardest bosses for the gold trophies and then chill and go for the collectibles for the platinum

I keep seeing alot of people say that and I just found him not challenging at all. Almost beat him first try and I made a couple dumb mistakes near the end but 2nd try spanked him without even needing a stone. His underlings were tougher than he was IMO
I smoked him but Gna took me like a day. It seems like if one is easy to someone the other is particularly difficult for them.
Gna felt easier because she fights almost identical to Sigrun. You’ve seen it before. She’s still hard as heck
It was quiet the opposite for me. In the 2018 game by the time you fight Sigrun you had gained experience from fighting 8 different valkaries prior and since her move set is a mix of all the Valkaries before her I was familiar and comfortable with almost all her attacks. With Gna she gave me a lot more trouble since most of my fights were against slow berserkers with fairly telegraphed move sets that her speed and unpredictable moves and how fast they come out was a struggle for me to quickly adapt to

@@mohamadkhawaja9271 Gna had more mix ups. There was one where she closes in and jabs with her wing and another when she closes in with a wide sweep into a combo. The wing jab you have to dodge to the right and the wing sweep you have to block with the shield. The Bifrost is what killed me the most. My muscle memory makes me want to dodge her bifrost projectiles, so I end up getting hit. Once I conditioned myself to block the fast bifrost projectiles and dodge the red ring ones it got a bit easier. She also had the one where she calls multiple beams of bifrost from the sky that can nail me at close range.
@@TheOmegaDragon 💯 on point bro. She never stuck to a complete pattern. To add to what you already mentioned,also with her “cower before me”move she’ll do it followed by another 1 or she’ll do it followed by a spin attack that you have to block. The Valhalla attack sometimes she does 3,sometimes 2,sometimes 1 ect and like you said,her projectiles is also what destroyed me early on as well. Both come out so fast and you don’t even get to see if it’s the red attack projectile or if it’s the blockable 1. To add to the pain they also look similar,rainbow looking mofuckers and curved looking. No joke I spent the first 45 minutes on my backside in disbelief going wtf is going on haha. 45 minutes and was still in the process of learning her patters and second guessing myself. As soon as I realised you cannot range her and have to glue yourself close in melee with her and not let her breath or out of your sight I destroyed her. When I got her I had her aced all the way to her last bar then she landed a hit. 2 and a half hours that fight took me
The three berserk challenge and the king are the hardest fights I garuntee you , I died to those two challenges 10 times more than gna , I cooked her after a calm 35 - 40 times , the others I had to go a good couple hours and do a couple side quests before I can cook them .
After you finished the cooking which boss tasted best? I am trying to decide which culinary adventure I should embark on next

One of the toughest fights for me was The Maven. I was underpowered and had no resurrection stone, it took me way too many fights to get back out into the open world again.

lol happened to me yesterday and it was frustrating as hell
But after completing it , I learnt how to change weapons mid game effectively and use all the runic powers. Maven made me a good player actually lol
Yeah it sucks when you don't have a resurrection stone. Like not knowing a boss fight is going to have multiple parts and using the res stone in the first stage...yeah, it sucks bad
To me the double berserker fight in Svartalfheim was the hardest
This was the first time I seen the scarlet health bar I was shook
I remember I had beaten around 3 berserkers when I opened that stone, feeling real confident. Didnt last 10 seconds, 3 times in a row. Immediately noped out of there and grinded every side mission, and it still took me about 15 attempts with great gear
i found it even harder than the trio. I beat the trio on purple health, went to the duo, and they were red. I had to go to sleep and try the next day after leveling up
The 3 berserker gank fight by far.
That fight pissed me off beyond belief. It's hard when dodging and blocking the main ones' attacks only for an unlockable blast from the others to come, staggers you, and leaves you open to a flurry of attacks that downs you. The only berserker fight I had to leave and level up further before coming back and finishing them, even then taking two more attempts.
God those 3 i had to lvl up to 7 to fight them

Nidhogg is by far the coolest looking enemy design I’ve ever seen……absolutely perfect
I believe that, after looking at her design, Niðhögg was the ancestor of Tatzelwurms in the God of War (2018) game.
Nidhogg,the hateful,and elf at library is surprised me BUT the Dragon at side mission "for vanaheim" is makes me angry and stressful cuz the dragon is BUGGED😂

When you talked about Heimdall, the way you ended your review of him made it sound personal.
I’ve seen a lot of people say GNA’s the most difficult, but it was definitely the 3 sisters for me.
My hardest fight was against the Berserker King, King Hrólf.
Gna was hard, I say Sigrun was harder.

I think I found all of them not too challenging, probably because I was grinding for armour and weapon upgrades before further moving on with the story. The only few exceptions I found challenging were some of the Berserkers, Gná and Hrólf, which I tried defeating before/after the story, but they were too strong, so I waited after completing the story, as I stood more of a chance against them later.
The Hateful was one of the hardest as well as the “fall before me” boss
I fought the Berserker king for a week and nearly broke my ankle out of the excitement i got from beating him. GNA took me 3 days only cuz I was at level 7 when I tried to her once at level 8 she was just a tank of health.
Svipdagar and the Sisters of Illska were by far the hardest for me. Berserker King gave me a lot of trouble and was the most satisfying since Sigrun, while Gna might have been the easiest for me--just identical to Sigrun!
Out of all the bosses, Hrist & Mist was the most painful fight I ever had on GMGOW because Hrist keeps using the one-hit kill grab every time I get close to her and it is impossible to dodge when you're right in her face when using the move.
Really? I thought they were really easy on gmgow personally, died a few times but there are checkpoints so I didn’t really care. Might flawless them sometime in the future
Dude they were so easy. It was a real let down after seeing them in the trailer. I was so looking forward to fighting them but was let down. They should be 10 on this list or not on it at all.

@@MoFoTRex93 That's because they both were in the main story that's why developers didn't made them so hard because casual players also play the game who just want to understand the story and didn't want to be pros can easily beat them
Hrist and mist weren't hard for me, but I had done most of the side quests and stuff I could do at that point
Despite Gna being terribly difficult at level 8 I had no choice but to leave it till last as it was intended, but for me it only took 3 tries to beat her, but took way more attempts to beat the Berserker King and for me that was the most difficult followed by the fight against the 3 Berserkers.
Exactly the same for me. King Hrolf is Ragnarok's Sigrun. Was shocked at how much easier Gna was.
@@mobya80 Yeah I really don’t know. I’m not gonna lie after the King I was shitting bricks cause I heard how much harder Gna was, but just wasn’t it for me.. but everyone is different. I hope they make her more of a challenge come new game plus though
@@daddychill8924 Yeah hopefully. I think it was probably easier (in my case anyway) as I was fully maxed by the time I faced her and had Freya maxed out too. I'd love if they added the option to replay boss fights repeatedly if/when they add NG+ as I'd love to try out different builds on them without having to replay the game all over again or have tons of different save files.
@@mobya80 Yeah I was literally thinking the same thing 10 minutes ago haha, that feature would be game changing. Yeah I’m the same, I platinum the game, so I was fully maxed out too. It sucks cause by the time I got to level 9 and I unlocked the King’s relic which is hella OP, I wasn’t able to really use them. So a new game + would be amazing.
@@daddychill8924 Haha, great minds! Tbf, Sony Santa Monica have been pretty fan friendly with this whole reboot so I wouldn't be surprised if they added stuff without any mention as a thank you to the fans for supporting it. Pretty gutted that I've got nothing to do apart from try to find purified crystalline (which is impossible) while Kratos is a tank. Was tempted to start a GMGOW playthrough earlier but I think I'll save it for NG+.
It took me like 25 attempts to kill the berserker king. And 3 for Gna. I guess we all have different experiences
Literally opposite for me, died the first time to the king cause I forgot a res stone then downed him next try. Gna made me about put a controller through a wall 🙃

I found Gna to be pretty easy compaired to Sigrun in the previous game and The Berserker King. Specially if you take her on right after the latter.
Sigrun killed me 2 times on next hardest diffeculty. But Gna fucking rapet me good at first. The round i killed her i parry like 80% of her attacks
Ormstrucka falls somewhere between Odin and Berzerker king for me. I died more times in him then any boss.

The double Valkyrie’s aren’t that difficult. They heavily weakened them.
I think what made the fights harder for me was the fact that I was playing for platinum on my first playthrough, so I was just trying to biitz through them and just couldn't get my parry timing down. Now that it's done hopefully I can enjoy them all properly on NG+ and be a bit more relaxed in my approach.
Yeah, King Kraki and Gna were rough about that. For Gna in particular, I think I would do a pretty good job playing a defensive, opportunistic game throughout, but would start pressing as she would get low, which would lead to me getting over aggressive and taking hits I shouldn't have been taking. But when even failed Gna fights were still taking me over 6 minutes, it was hard to stay disciplined and patient as a fight drug on, haha.
@@archeryguy1701 Haha. I think the PTSD from Sigrun had me button mashing like a maniac with Gna when she was relatively easy in comparison. King Hrolf was a nightmare and I can't wait for NG+ to destroy him with his own hilt.
@@mobya80 Sigrun actually wasn't TERRIBLE for me... both her and Kraki in Ragnarok only took me 1-2 hours. Kraki got easier once I equipped the enchantment to increase dodge speed/range so I was more successful from escaping his elemental chest bursts. Gna was brutal. 7-8 hours for me. I was hating life so much by the end of fighting her, haha.
@@archeryguy1701 Sigrun took me three days to beat haha! 😅 Honestly, if the game allowed it I'd have attacked her before the final mission in Ragnarok she traumatised me that much. 2 hours is pretty impressive.
Have put 35 hours into this game and just now defeated heimdall (fucking awesome fight by the way) I’m having a fantastic time with this

I fought Gna once while under leveled. Didn't work out so well. Leveled up a little more came back, beat her in two tries. I found King Hrolf to be harder personally
To all of you saying Gna was super easy for you to beat, feel free to leave your tips below because I can barely get 3 hits on her before she kills me
Learn her attacks! You have to survive long enough to be able to put her down and being familiar with how to deal with what she throws out is key :3 Then it’s up to you and how you’re comfortable playing. Good luck!
Practice. And take your time. Just have to learn her attacks. One trick to know is that when she goes to her left (your right) you dodge and you could attack. If she goes right (your left) you can either block or parry. Fight becomes way easier when you know this. I also stop caring about dodging her bifrost attack that she does from the tight and then from the left. Just block and get bifrost but it goes away quickly
Only dodge to the right for most of the attacks
Take the risk of parrying with the stunn shield because she can be quite easily stunned
Dodge the green and pink projectil but block the purple one (bifrost)
when she use pink magic shoot her with the pink arrows when she's going to throw the green rock shoot with the green arrows
when she does the two elemental attacks that start from the center spin till the edge of the arena don't attack just wait for it to be gon cause they're quite rough and try to stay mid range with her so you can use your shield when she going to do the big aoe
The 3 berserkers fight was atrocious
It’s funny with her even going all out, how quickly Kratos could butcher Freya, but always let’s her live when he realises it’s her.
I was about to say the librarian in alfheim I was at 1hp when the fight was over I was sweating bullets
The heimdall fight is easy i did it in one try but the fight was actually hype worthy the fact kratos can counter someone who has foresight and a god with an unmatched lightspeed
The berserker sisters were hard af for me because I was only lvl 5 when I beat them. I literally destroyed GNA my first try without healing or resurrecting. That King Hrof fight sucked tho. Easily fought him about 15 times before I won. I was lvl 9 when I beat both him and GNA. Can’t wait for new game +!!!
Dragons. OP regular enemies. Duels with gods. What happened to you Kratos? You were so much more fun and exciting in Greece... After finishing this boring trek through blizzard world, I am ordering you to go and relax in egypt. I forgot about the valkyries and berserker kings. I love a good pallette swap
You forgot these damn draugr packs mixed with archers,tanks and mace holders with their bifrost attacks. They f me up more than Nidhogg did
This is the only list I watched that FINALLY put some respect on GNÁ’s name. It took me a week to beat her. 😅
I actually had a harder time against Hrist and Mist compared to Thor and Heimdall

Gna was not tougher than Sigrun. Hardest in Ragnarok but Sigrun was a damn nightmare
Only reason I kept dying to niohogg and Freya was because I was too far from them when they did the signature move my tip to you switch to velour for Freya and save it don't try to beat her completely but try as hard as possible to get to the mini checkpoints
King Hrolf was actually pretty easy
Now Gna on the other hand, was pain

for some reason i didn't struggle much with Gna but I literally was smacking my desk in frustration with every single one of the berserkers. the one where there were 3 of them was the worst i had to turn on boss checkpoints because that one frustrated me so much lol. such great fights
Me who beat Gna after 2 tries but needed almost 30 to beat Hrolf 😐
the 3 berserkers at once was nearly as hard as the King, there's also a secret boss called the Everlasting on the Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim that can basically one hit you at any moment.
The berserker king broke me, I played the entire game on GMB. After trying to beat him easily 100 times and coming literally 1 hit away from beating him, I had to lower the difficulty to GMG…still took me a few tries lol
Honestly, Vanadis was the hardest story boss for me. I was stuck on her for like an hour
Three berserkers gank squad in alfeim were the hardest and most annoying
Only had 5 hard enemies, 3 of the berserker (p.s because I was under leveled and didn't give a crap I just wanted to end them) the berserker king (took me 11 tries) and gna (stopped counting after 30)
The Beserker king kicked my ass for like 2 straight hours lmao
It would be amazing if we had the Kraken in this game that I think there would be a fight against him in Svartalheim and Midgard It's a shame he didn't put him in this game it would be an incredible fight and I think he could be that Durlin octopus that could come in the future becoming a boss like the Kraken we know and another is what happened to the Dragons we released in the 1st game If they appearing in this game as allies or we can fight against and kill them It would be a cool that's it shame didn't happen Just like the pets of Freyr,Thor and Odin the boar,wolves,goats and horse that did not appear and they were not used in the final battle They would be a great side quest going after them and saving them and seeing them in the game since they are very important to these Gods and not having them is a huge pain and makes no sense...
a shame it didn't happen as well not have as many others Norse Kings/Heroes of Norse Mythology and not have more Gods of Asgard & Vanaheim and not have more Valkyries who did not appear In the game they are mandatory to be there It's a big pain in my heart that they weren't put in the game... Because they are very important and should be in the game and this game It had great potential that could be much better with these things and elements for the game's plot and in history what we had in the original who how easily could have put it in the Game but they didn't do that

Odin, Thor, and hemidall were all relatively easy than other bosses
As someone who's finished on Give me God of War, I can say that the Hateful from the Svartalfheim mines was the most frustrating boss.

True. I've beaten Sigrun like three or four times now so Gna was mostly the same if easier.
Sigrun prepared me for all the Valkyrie fights in the sequel
I mean, Kratos killed Heimdall out of necessity. The player killed Heimdall because he was every bully we had in high school
I swear Gna really frustrated me to no end, just beat her today and beat Hrolf yesterday as those along with the Collector trophy were left for my platinum.
At level 8 in Give No Mercy, I had to make a health siphon build to beat the Beserker King. I lost more than 50 times against him. Now Gna was hard but I did beat her in less than 20 tries. Gna was fast but easier to parry and dodge some of her attacks. The Beserker B!tch has a weird timing for some of his attacks and some attacks look similar which can confuse you. Additionally, he might not stagger during your runic attacks leaving you wide open for his attacks. Breath of Tamur is deathly as you are just expose sometimes.
Freya did tell Kratos she would unleash her fury onto him for killing her son Baldur. Promising to make suffer and endure many levels of hell, not an exact quote and not the first time Kratos has been threatened like that.

I think the Berserker King gave me more of a hard time than Gna and I have upgraded almost all Kratos stats and armors too(looking forward to new game Plus to try Freya's lady and probably most powerful summon that is only accessable After beating Gna)
Gna and Hrolf definitely earned their positions on this list. They don't hand out trophies for defeating them for nothing.
I actually had the hardest time with Svipdagr and the Sisters of Illska. I challenged them too early and kept getting my ass handed to me. After coming back a couple levels higher it was easier, but 1v3 is tough at lower levels

Because the person on my 😇left shoulder 😇was saying you're doing good, but if you really want to whoop they ass leave and get stronger
Then the person on my 👹 right shoulder 👹 was saying nah nigga you know you've never left to get stronger, you don't fold that easily, you better show them who you are, just think how satisfying it's going to be when R3 comes
And I did it and even screamed at them a couple of times 🤣🤣🤣🤣

yep i tried them earlier and their health bar is purple i got 2/3 done then kept dying the homing fire and ice bubbles are stupid and the dual axe dude is way too aggressive

King Kraki and Gna was rough. Kraki was on the same level as Sigrun from the previous game.... took me a couple hours, but I got him down. Gna.... bloody hell, frakking Gna. She took like 7 or 8 hours over 2 play sessions. By far the hardest time I've ever had with a boss, enemy, level, etc in any game. It didn't help that even a failed attempt was generally taking me over 6 minutes. I got her so close so many times. That was the worst day ever, hahaha.
Gna is by far the hardest boss I've ever faced, 3hrs of trying, I've never even spent more than an hour on any boss in Elden Ring
The boss was me not trying to break my controller after during at the last part of a boss fight
For me, the easiest was Heimdall since I learn his attacks
I think sigrun was the hardest valkery of all of them, alot harder than gna imo. Great fight tho, can't wait for the new game+ update

9 out of 10 hardest fights were berserkers. Other was Gna.

Heimdall is so hard to fight at the start 🤣 i died like 100 times until I realized I need to slow him down with the explosive spears, the fight got way easier when I was actually able to hit him. I thought that was kinda cool and funny 😂
This list for what difficulty level? Cuz it changes when you have the spartan armor on and have it on give me god of war.

My only nitpick with the number of boss fights in this part, is the lack of dragon you can fight in the main story.
Berserker King, Gna, that dang Light Elf, and the 3 Berserker in 1 battle
i played on the 2nd highest difficulty and honestly some Berserkers, the King and Gna felt like tough souls bosses.
I didn’t have trouble with the 3 berserkers because I went for the twins first, then took out the one that follows u.
I wish Odin was harder. I played the game on no mercy and I didn’t die once during his fight. It was still a really cool and unique fight though
I thought the Berserker king was harder than the Valkyrie Gna. Third hardest was the 3 Berserkers you fight at the same time.
Killing Nidhogg was heartbreaking...
I played on GMGOW,fought the Berserker king at level 6 he was purple bar,fought Gna at level 7 she was purple,fought the triple berserkers at level 5 they were purple and fought the double berserkers at level 4 they were red skulls 1 shot kill. Gna,the triple berserkers and the double berserkers were by far the hardest 3 fights for me. All 3 fights took between 2 to 2 and a half hours to beat. Every other fight was pretty decent,nothing overally hard. I actually found the berserker king to be 1 of the easiest bosses in the game,got him on my 3rd try. The berserker that spawns minions was tougher than the king
The toughest boss for me so far is the Hateful Draugr. I can't seem to beat it no matter what I do.
The 3 berserkers in Alfheim was the hardest for me by far.

The Callous was the toughest for me, i fought him before The Ragnarok, spent 2 hours just to beat him
I personally feel the Valkaries weren't as difficult as people expected. Mainly cause they shared 1 health bar so focusing on 1 was enough and if you managed to hit both of them togeather it took a major chunk of their health, so the only challange was reflexes, and God of war, the game it is, forces you to master parrying super early in the game
The 2 Valkyrie’s only hit me like once and it took me a dozen tries to kill Maven
I still have the two toughest boss fights left for the platinum. As my combat skills are far from great I’m on Story difficulty and my level 8.5 Kratos is continuously getting wrecked by the Berserker King 😡
Ah man. I feel your pain. Putting them on story mode with the boss fight save option was the only way I was ever getting the platinum. GoW 2018 Sigrun still keeps me from that 100%.
Odin Thor and Heimdall were childs play
With the right armor sets and so on..neither Gna nor Berserker King are much of a problem. I remember Sigrun being much harder than Gna. Gna got beaten in my second try.
As a true God of War veteran even the berserkers really put me to the test.
