Thanks for.reply olly I have been watching you since covid began...lots.of tough stuff gone on since in my life but have used your videos as a foundation for my day...so.thanks
Clayton engineering are in knighton Powys, about 17 miles from rvw Pugh's churchstoke, I believe they designed the cab on the forward control county's, the last county's were built at Benson's next door to Clayton's, Benson's also bought bamfords, and some of the last county's were in bamford colours, Benson's were also importing valmets at the time in bamford colours, a lot of the life boat tractors are county based
Hi Olly, as a RNLI enthusiast i really liked the lifeboat scene of the video. The tractor that holds the lifeboat is called the SLARS it stand for shannon launch and recovery system. And it is not able to "zoom" down the beach, infact it go pretty slow but can be increased by quite a bit. The shannon class (the one in the video) is the newest and most modern lifeboat the RNLI has ever released.
Amazing that you could see your own field from the airplane. Great that you had a nice break away from the farm with friends and family, hopefully you feel a bit rested. Back to the everyday grind tomorrow.
G3 cutting compound will bring the green up like new same with the wheels mix it 50/50 with water and machine polish it.my dad's names on one of them life boats.there putting that life boat in all there stations.amazing bit of kit
The tractors for the Shannon Class SLARS is made by Supacat a few miles from me in Devon, they're beasts. Love seeing them up close and I've had a peek into the workshops where they're made at the Lifeboat College in Poole (I'm an RNLI governor).
Love the RNLI bit, an amazing organisation and I follow St Ives lifeboat that is the same Shannon class… amazing machine, you tube the RNLI doing an emergency stop in that class boat, with the jets they can stop from full speed to zero in almost no distance 👍😮
Your Xerion really does look a beast. .Some awesome scenery in the IOM. The life boat Station in Peel looked very interesting I really do admire those lads that go out rescuing boats that get in a mess The RNLI. Is a fantastic organisation I bet you really enjoyed the IOM. Isn’t it great when your nearly home when you can see your own farm from the air. Feeling 96%today another very interesting video Ollie
Interesting vid again that lifeboat tractors a hell of a piece of kit. Xerion is so much different inside to any other claas tractors of that age. More in common with a combine i guess.
Them lifeboat tractors are cool they have them at Scarborough and seen one at Skegness..I’m not keen on the claas exhaust position but the noise the xerion makes is awesome..
Couldn't think of a worse colour to have anything but black! My Cat digger's cab and ram's are supposed to be black and go all cloudy and hazy, you could polish it every other week! And black also heat's up more and I reckon the claas could be hot enough!
The Xerion is my new fav tractor, what a beast that it, Do you need those weight blocks on the back, looks like taking them off you could see the linkages ?
Fantastic video AGAIN Olly!! Love that Xerion…. Some muck all over it!! On thing with the Xerion was that lumpy carpet….. can it be fixed?? On would it even bother ye??
The Xerion looks fantastic! I think the idea with the metallic wrap is the best one. Don't paint it black, you already have black beauty. Is this the tractor you will use for tractor pulling? edit: does anybody know who made the engine? Is that a caterpillar or Deutz or something? I'm at 85%. Getting rid of a bad cold, but good going.
Great video olly, been to the Isle of man over 25 times for the TT, have seen the life boat taken out, best breakfast on peel Sea front, did you manage to get to the calf of man ? 👌
As much as I admire what the RNLI do, I find it disgusting what the CEO and top of the table pay themselves yet stations have to close due to lack of funding. Anyway, family time away is very important in farming life.
Definitely needs a camera in 3 point link and hitch. All in all looks very sick. This spring i saw exact the same model attached to a mobiel wood chipper which was parked near me. IT's insane what's the price rating even for 8y tractor.
The scissor lift lorry beside the plane was most likely Special assistance for wheelchair etc. I use them myself Olly and I don’t like them as I feel that I’m holding others from getting on the plane.
CLASS obviously aren't a "class act" regarding their attempt's of publicity (advertising). The first time (my best guess is around about 2016) that I discovered that these tractors even exist was when I first saw one in real life parked in grounds of the J E Porter of Lincolnshire animal feed plant. Pretty sure that his had the rotating cab option.
No need to appologise for the non farming content, always good to get away and see something different (thoroughly enjoyed the Isle of Man content), re; the Claas Xerion, what is the fascination with everything black?, personally I like everything to be in their own colours. 80% today, had to give a ploughing match a miss to spray the dreaded turnip saw fly catipillers out of a chaps forage rape, sorry FR, lol
Bat boxes...John from South Ireland here..I had to put same boxes up when I was demolishing a building...part of planning now as bats are protected

Im also an enthusiast was gonna write the same comment.
ks wonders @@robjones3132 So am I, the RNLI works wonders in its quest to protect those who wish to live in England, but weren't🤡 born there.
@rob Jones same, can't wait for Wells' Shannon 'Duke of Edinburgh' class to arrive
Designed in-house by the RNLI for the RNLI. It's a great boat my fathers names on the Invergordon boat.
i bloody love where the exhaust is on that thing its almost iconic for me
Awesome vid👍definitely pimp my Claas👍what a setup of a lifeboat👍
Didn’t know the Isle of Man was such a beautiful place to visit, got to put that on my bucket list,
Excellent vlog, great to see different places occasionally makes us feel like we’ve had a holiday too 😊
Love the Xerion. 👍👍👍🇬🇧
Hope you enjoyed the Isle of Man and come back for a bit longer as lots more to see and do.
Amazing that you could see your own field from the airplane. Great that you had a nice break away from the farm with friends and family, hopefully you feel a bit rested. Back to the everyday grind tomorrow.
its huge and I love it
G3 cutting compound will bring the green up like new same with the wheels mix it 50/50 with water and machine polish it.my dad's names on one of them life boats.there putting that life boat in all there stations.amazing bit of kit
Better keep TP away from the xerion god only know the damage he would do 😂,and yes they were bat boxes 👍🏼
Life boat tractor and trailer made in knighton mid wales, Clayton engineering
Hi Olly! Thanks for the tour of the Isle of man, enough to please everyone I think! Very interesting! Keep up the good work! 😁
Bat box definitely!
Hope @ the family had a great couple of days at the Isle of Man. The Xerion is a beast of a machine keep em coming olly 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
Wrap it that class edition green! I saw it at tillage last year and it popped !
The new shannon lifeboats are built here in Poole Dorset at the RNLI HQ

Your trip should have been sponsored by the IOM Tourist board.
Good video again 👍 They use to race gearbox go-karts around Peel's streets many years ago .
The past 2 days have been quite fun actually and I am pleased that you have found your "Horney Road." Poor Charlette!
Love the RNLI bit, an amazing organisation and I follow St Ives lifeboat that is the same Shannon class… amazing machine, you tube the RNLI doing an emergency stop in that class boat, with the jets they can stop from full speed to zero in almost no distance 👍😮
Wrap in in the Claas grey/black colour
Thinking pimp up the claas. Make it your own. Will add value. Another Olly blogs classic. Look forward to seeing it on the Christmas run
That was really OK olly something different 👍👍🏴
Think you should wrap it black then have that fluorescent tape on it so on a night time tractor pull you could have it all lit up
Brilliant to see lifeboat and launch tractor, local company to me are building a launch tractor out of 570hp cat👍👍

The boxes on the trees are bat boxes.
Hi Olly amazing video, I could only dream of being able to have Claas machinery like the Xerion.
Wrap the Xerion Black. A real Beast!
On those trees are bat boxes
Great Video Olly. the Island is amazing.
The xerion is a beast keep up the great work.👍❤️ I would love to own one.😀
Standard color wrap
Original colours I think olly 🔥
Great look at the tractor and the lifeboat. 90%.
Bat roosting box , up the tree
I could be wrong but Easy jet doesn’t sound very easy to me 😂
great stuff outstanding the wrap would be good but in claas coloours
Interesting vid again that lifeboat tractors a hell of a piece of kit. Xerion is so much different inside to any other claas tractors of that age. More in common with a combine i guess.
Restore it to original spec! I certainly agree with the things you've just said, I would recommend a camera for coupling up!
Great video olly that was a serious lifeboat very impressive
Hope you enjoyed the Isle of Man, cracking day for it!
Respray the dull bits in a good 2k paint that should stop it going dull. Keep the crome stack it looks great
While your there try queenies and steak! Enjoy your trip.
I've seen the RNLI launch from those machines in Barmouth Wales. Absolute beast of a machine! I think the Xerion is also a beast 👍
Excellent blog Olly - no worries!!
Them lifeboat tractors are cool they have them at Scarborough and seen one at Skegness..I’m not keen on the claas exhaust position but the noise the xerion makes is awesome..
Black would look well neat, rims and bonnet
Black carbon fibre wrap, black wheels 😀👍
I think the Xerion would look proper mean wrapped in black 💪💪
Great vid 👌👌🏴
Brilliant video 👍👍👍👍
Hi from Ireland
Southern Ireland
You need Ali’s diggers maintaining the fleet, great new addition to the farm
Needs the VC option and the metallic green wrap
That's twice I've heard you mention chaser bins now. Can see what's gonna happen next...
Did some one say actually say they didn't like the exhaust on the class!! Some one needs a trip to the tractor doctor!!!
Couldn't think of a worse colour to have anything but black! My Cat digger's cab and ram's are supposed to be black and go all cloudy and hazy, you could polish it every other week! And black also heat's up more and I reckon the claas could be hot enough!

Great video olly
Great video olly, been to the Isle of man over 25 times for the TT, have seen the life boat taken out, best breakfast on peel Sea front, did you manage to get to the calf of man ? 👌
i think the Xerion would look very good in black, then the 936 can have a beast buddy
Paint the Xerox dark grey it looks a beast then
Hi olly xerion or fastrack 🤔
Get the chain out 🤦
Nice vid tho 👌👌
As much as I admire what the RNLI do, I find it disgusting what the CEO and top of the table pay themselves yet stations have to close due to lack of funding. Anyway, family time away is very important in farming life.

Hi how is the field of barley doing
No pto at front is there a reason.
black wheels black body
I thought he already had one of those Xerion
4:40 bat houses
Any updates on the combine header?
That road is the bottom of Bray Hill, got the same photo😂😂
On your next mercy you need a person stood next to something with stand next to that for scale 😂
The scissor lift lorry beside the plane was most likely Special assistance for wheelchair etc. I use them myself Olly and I don’t like them as I feel that I’m holding others from getting on the plane.
It broke down and they couldn’t lift it up or down 🤦♂️
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer I know I’ve been on one when it’s done that exact same thing as well🤦♂️
Wrap it
Hi
Wrap black 100%
I have a picture of a class 810 I drive and it got wrapped in black can’t send it here
I definitely think you should wrap it matte black and spray the grills gloss black.

What horse power is it
So the moral of the story is take the ferry to the Isle of Man.
A young man who farms near Liverpool… Google want to have a chat… Bet you didn’t see that one coming when you left school _😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉
I know
