This is inspiring me to set aside three books to read by the end of the year (howl’s moving castle, lessons in vengeance and a wilderness or stars) which is so ambitious I am in SUCH a reading slump! I think you’re going to love Heartless 🌘
Just started Daughter of No Worlds! It's fantastic! I picked it up because it reminded me of Vampre Academy with the trainer/trainee in the synopsis. I bought the whole series while knowing I have commitment issues with series😅
Marissa Meyer s the best. I didn’t know about the Renegade series so I’m excited now! Thanks for the vid. Been in a reading slump and needed the boost!
My #1 priority is going to sword catcher by Cassie Clare but I won't let myself start it till I finish some of the other books I've been reading 😅 Because for whatever reason I have to be reading 5 book at once 💀🤷
I'm not one to usually comment, but there needs to be more love for Silver Under Nightfall!! I loved the book so much and I can't WAIT until the sequel comes out (but it doesn't come out until next April :( )
I read the entire Renegades trilogy last summer in maaaybe the span of 2 weeks? I absolutely love the series. I also love superhero stories, too, and it was kind of giving The Incredibles vibes. There were also lots of interesting discussions about power and who gets to have a say in doling out justice. The last book, Supernova, was so action packed and had a lot of plot twists that I read it in like 2 days lol. Definitely would recommend!
i've been telling myself i'm gonna read the percy jackson series for the last 5 years (I read The Lightning Thief 3 times back in elementary school but never continued the series). I need to at least reread lightning thief before the year ends!
Trying to tackle my want to read list which is about 40 books currently but some are pre-orders for next year. Dunno if I'll make it by the end of the year 🌙
Mel, u have such a great list and I cannot wait to hear ur thoughts on both Marissa Meyer books & This woven kingdom are 5 star reads for me! Book 3 for this woven kingdom series is coming out next February and supposdly it's supposed to be a 6 book series too!(:
🌙🌙🌙 I really enjoyed Silver Under Nightfall, but it is the first book in a duology. Court of Wanderers comes out April 2024, so you got some time. I have a few books in my end of the year TBR. My biggest priority is The Grace of Kings by Ken Liu.
I loved DONW. I swear book two is better than book one. It was my favorite from the trilogy and I believe these series are way superior to the new series from the same author. I miss them. I want to live inside of these books. I want to re read it 😂
The Blood Trails is excellent! The second book, The Blood Gift was a let down. That said, I know the publisher had something to do with that. Not getting into the whole thing, but a disappointing situation.
I might be in the minority here, but The Fine Print is not a good introduction to Lauren Asher. I would honestly skip it and go straight to Terms and Conditions. You don't need to read the The Fine Print to understand Terms and Conditions, and the latter is a waaaaaaaaay better book. If you end up reading The Fine Print and don't like it, don't let that sto you from reading Terms ad Conditions. The second book is level above in terms of writing and story.
For me, a long time f1 fan, throttled felt like a personal insult - the author literally knows nothing about what she’s writing about and makes several misogynistic and overall dubious comments throughout the book… but if you end up reading it after all, it’d be interesting to hear your thoughts

Howl’s Moving Castle is a fun and easy read so try starting with that.
Heartless is one of my favorite books of all time and I keep meaning to re-read it! 🌙
Omg I loved the renegades series 🥹
Silver under nightfall is so good!
I loved the Dreamland billionaires series 🥺 They’re soooo good!
I loved The Woven Kingdom. One of my favorites from last year. The sequel drags a bit but finishes strong. Third book is due out soon.

This! I have started reading 2 books, but I keep abandoning them for other books. 😂
🌙I hope you like the fine print! I just read it and thought it was pretty good! I'm excited to read the rest of the series!

I'm not one to usually comment, but there needs to be more love for Silver Under Nightfall!! I loved the book so much and I can't WAIT until the sequel comes out (but it doesn't come out until next April :( )
I was on the fence about the fine print or what's it's name but now you got me with the fast and furious theme 🌒
The Throttled series is one of my favorites! ❤
