This is great Pastor Marcus! A lot of us are in this place and may be the one holding the mirror is rough on how they deliver the message which can cause us to want to attack them even more. But the part that stood out to me is when you said lock in to the Word of God and compare yourself to it and see how you line up to it. This takes the focus off the person delivering the message and causes you to ultimately look at yourself and examine. Lord help me not to attack your leaders or others when they point out my character flaws, but to seek You on how to rid myself of these unfruitful ways and mindsets. Amen. Thank you Jesus! As former addict from vape, weed and cigarette +10 years and got free and delivered from God, I pray that God will be working on your life to quit vaping in your life. God will help you and keep praying even if you happen to fail after prayer. Chewing gum and tapping on my shoulder in craving helped me for the first 1-2 weeks. I was chewing gum pretty much 24/7. And if you did not throw away your vape to trashcan yet and expect it to be removed from your life, I want to say no and please 'make decision to quit' rather than wait for God to make it quitted if you know what I mean. It's when you make decision to turn away when God will help in your life quitting your vaping. I cheer for your journey and you will win in Christ in fighting your addiction. ALREADY in the name of Jesus Amen.
keep vaping, but read gods word more, so you can know him more and communicate with god, he knows your thoughts, yoir heart and its intentions and desires, he knows you want to quit, just get closer to him and he will literloly take it from you and the craving, he knows you!!!!!

Read the bible. Christians are called to do just that. When a brother or sister is found to be in sin, Matthew 18:15-17 or Galations 6:1-2. God uses people, pastors the body of Christ. Everything must be done in love, considering ourselves.
I don't have issues with those that are judging correctly. I have issues with those that are trying to block others obvious spritual growth and progress by dragging their PAST into the present to attempt to discredit their gifts and callings. Those that accept hearsay and gossip as fact without coming to their brother or sister they feel are taken in a fault. Is that not biblically accurate? I also take issue with those who ignore sin in their favorites while neglecting to help develop those that are actually seeking true spiritual guidance. And let's be real there is sometimes jealousy and envy involved if people that are "seasoned" feel a person is elevating too quickly for their tastes or understanding but you never know what a person is doing BEHIND CLOSED DOORS that is being rewarded openly....it's easy to get caught up in the hype...gotta make sure you know what you know...and a lot of times it's church messiness and the lack of checking it that makes people run...not them running from "accountability"...nobody's going to sit up ANYWHERE and be a Lil punching bag 💯
