As a picker if I scan something (even a bin or a cart) does that count as a TOT stopper? Say I scan a bin, can I take a break for 3 minute before scanning the item? Thanks.
Just wanted to note, at least at the warehouse i work at: you dont get instantly fired if you end up with negative UPT. I had to miss a shift for school and that had me At negative 5 or 6 hours. I got an email from Amazon letting me know my UPT balance was in the negatives and to speak with my manager or HR. I spoke to HR about it and showed them proof that I had school that day. My absence got excused and the UPT I lost that out me in the negatives was given back to me. So it’ll give you a heads up like “hey get this sorted out or you’ll get fired.” So yes you definitely can and will get fired for negative UPT, it’s not immediately.
New here and also in amazon, just need that they e-mail me the date to go and finish the interview and show them my documents. I have a question, you say to never work at the waterspider, what is it?
Sucks to be hungry; you’ve got that right. But do you know what’s worse: being in the inbound dock trailer to empty it while being thirsty. That really sucks. I’m Muslim, so I had to fast for a whole month while working at the inbound docks. It’s horrible. No food is fine; no water? Horrible.
I have a contingent offer... I know I'll pass the background check and drug test cause I mean.. I work, I come home, DASSIT. But I'm still nervous lol. Your videos are super helpful and you have more positive vibes. I appreciate that. 💜
first tip yall freaking out about nothing this is my first week on my own done just worked my first week by myself and yall trippin like its hard like the job is easy the hardest part about the job is standing
Your schedule is set UNLESS you get hired on as flex. Flex workers choose their own schedule as long as they work a minimum of 20 hours a month I believe. It varies location to location though.
What about the scanner part time position… how many boxes need to be scanned? I hear they say you need a lot but what if your a mature person of age? Do they jump down your throat to get boxes scanned? I see commercials where older people work here..thanks
I’m not sure about warehouse grocery associate having phones, I’m sure they’re allowed until 2022 like everyone else though. As for parking for bikes it depends on your location, but for mine, we have parking for motorcycles, but I’m not sure about regular bikes. I don’t think so
Thanks for sharing this helpful info. My quick question pls. Does Amazon give their worker a discount if they also want to sell on Amazon website??? I will really appreciate your response. Thanks enormously
@@C11 Thank you so much for responding. I am very grateful as that’s very helpful. I later watch your Amazon Employee discount Vidoe after I had sent my question to you , and you said only the full time gets Employee discount, so I believe it’s the 10% for items sold & shipped by Amazon right? Thanks & remain blessed
My start day is soon, but I need 2 days off on my new schedule days. These plans have been set in stone for months now, I was wondering if they would give them to me? Or I would gladly pick up another shift a different day. Just need to know if it's even worth asking. Thank you!
Unfortunately, they most likely won’t be able to give those days to you. You can try asking HR or call the ERC and maaaybe they’ll do something, but I definitely wouldn’t bet on it at all
I would definitely try to pick a different start date. I'm transferring to a new site. My schedule will be Thursday-Sunday. However, my birthday is on the 12th. So I'm delaying my start until 17th instead so I can have the weekend off.
Ooo that’s a difficult one as I haven’t worked in that position myself. Try asking r/AmazonFC on reddit or r/FASCAmazon, you’ll likely get some great answers there!
Tac time is not in every Amazon warehouse. At my Amazon it's called tot. Time off task. Also robots that warehouses have. We don't have warehouses as pickers. We have to walk everywhere to get every item. 15 20 miles per day. There are only 37 warehouses left in America that are like mine.
True! I walk 20 miles a day busting my ankles in the process and still get written up still for low productivity. Good suggestions on the TOT notes. I will do that.
I put the time that I left my station while I’m in the restroom and then when I get to my station and stow or pick one item, I just log my time super fast and hide it. Tbh though, I feel like if I ever got caught and just explained that I was logging my TOT and then showed them the proof, I doubt that they would care at all.
@@C11 I’m a picker. I carry a small book with me. I write everything down. When people are making me wait, waiting to drop cages.they can ask you up to a month what happened a certain day!!! The mangers are always surprised when I pull out my book! Lol
4th week so far,I have question since I'm seasonal and hire directly by Amazon how long do they keep you and how do they let you go? By the way of the 10 people started with me 8 quick last week. Thanks for your videos very helpful.
Honestly it really just depends on how long they need you for. At my FC, pretty much all seasonals get hired on permanently. I think in general a large majority of seasonals are kept however don’t take that as a concrete answer because I have heard of seasonals being let go at the end of their run, I think it’s just not as common. It took me 3 months to go from seasonal white badge to permanent blue badge though which wasn’t that long!
yes 100% ALL SEASONALS become blue badge...why? every blue badge before them will eventually quit...so if you happen to last at least 11months or less.....guarantee you are permanent blue badge...will this cycle ever change...time will tell but for now 2021JULY it remains the same...there will be so many blue badges quitting within 11 months that the white badges who stuck it through will be blue badges and be permanent employees.
I started June 6 and I’m going in for my third week and just got emailed that I got the blue badge. Came with a small raise. I work in customer returns processing and our rate is 25 and I’ve been sitting at 28-33
What if you’re new with no time off or vacation and you have a family emergency. Do you really have to literally QUIT for a funeral or hospital stay for your mother?!?
I just started Amazon and I started out with 10 hours of Unpaid Time Off so if something like that would happen your good and you also get negative Hours too just don’t let it happen unless it’s and emergency situation
If your sick or injured your best bet is go to apply for leave of absence through the DLS portal found in resources on the A to Z app. They in many cases will even refund your Upt for already missed days if your reason is legit with all your time accounted for with your doctor's papers and time off work notices.
A flex shift is where you pick your own shifts as long as you work a minimum amount of hours monthly, if that sounds good to you, then yes it’s good! As for the positions, any of them are fine for people who have never worked in a warehouse before
I’m not sure to be honest, I would look up “qualifications to work in IT at amazon”. It’s not something I’ve heard of before, but it might be possible. I know they’ll assist you in getting a degree and eventually transfer to IT that way, at least that’s what they do at my FC. (I think)
I m working in new facility people came from other states to train us so we as well as they are not familiar with new system different then their facility so still they will blame us for not speed up the job .
If my husband starts working at the warehouse and I give birth to our child a week or 2 later will they allow him to take atleast 2 weeks unpaid time off to be able to stay home with me and the baby??!! Please answer my husband is starting soon and I'm freaking out thinking they wont allow him to take any time off at all since he is new..
Honestly I’m not sure, he MIGHT be able to create a LOA, but I’m not sure if there’s an option for parental leave. If anything, he can create a covid leave case, but he’d have to get a doctor’s note for that.
I took the summer off while working at Amazon. I called corporate and told them I felt burned out and stressed, I was able to go on leave without pay though
@@C11 can't remember, I think about 3 4 months, because I kept extending it. The downside to it, is the fact that by the time you comeback your motivation is completely gone.
amazon corporate or the erc hotline? how do you contact corporate? I wouldn't think that contacting corporate would be of any help since they would handle corporate employees and not warehouse associates.
Hello, I am going to start working at Amazon next week and I am a Seasonal employee, I live in a very competitive area in terms of work (El Paso TX) and it is one of the best jobs around here for pay and benefits, my question is... How common is it to get the Blue badge? How long does it take to get the offer? Thank you
It depends how busy your site is! So if it's really busy or even just moderately busy, obtaining blue badge will be very easy. If it is slow at your site, they might eventually get rid of the white badges. Aside from that, there's no clear cut way to know if you'll become a blue badge or not. Even your performance doesn't matter. They don't care if you're a good employee, or if you've been written up several times, They'll still promote you once they decide it's time to move up all of the seasonal employees. For the most part, they do it all in one batch. It can take from anywhere to like a month, up to like 4 months from what I've heard. For me personally, it took around 2 months. It just depends though
Hey man, great videos. I just got hired on in Canada at a new facility. They've put me in "inbound" what is that? Do I empty the trucks? I start in February.
Damn!! You've been getting paid to sit around lmao that's awesome! But yeah you'll probably be doing stow, possibly shipping dock too though. Honestly when new sites open, I've heard they tend to train everyone for various different positions since everything is new. So you might be doing various positions at the beginning, but I'd imagine stow is the most likely position you'll do on your day one, and probably throughout the first week or month
@@C11 I know right?! Blew my mind they were going to be paying everyone who just got hired before Christmas because they couldn't give us work. I've worked for other warehouse gigs like Ikea before covid, and when the supply chain shortages started happening last year and there was no work, they just left me high and dry cutting all my hours. Great insight though bud, thanks! I'm not that nervous about it since everyone else at my FC will probably be new and I already have a bit of a background in logistics anyway.
On my phone, secretly. If I ever get caught I doubt the managers would care as long as you tell them the reason for being on your phone, since it's work related!
Honestly I hadn’t thought of that, that’s an interesting question! I’ve always considered transferring to a different state but hadn’t thought about that. I would assume so if the site you’re transferring to has a higher minimum wage than what you’re already making, but I can’t guarantee that
You can bring your phones inside right now because of covid but afterwards, I’m probably just going to bring a tiny notepad or something with a pen to log it on there
You can have your phone with you and I’d say if you’re just getting back to your station you can log quickly and put your phone away, if you get caught you can just show them you were logging your TOT just incase. Most AM’s don’t care to begin with but some people in mint colored vests definitely do.
At the moment they are allowing you to bring your phones in for Covid emergency purposes, but when the virus slows down, they’re going to stop letting you bring them in.
@@C11 I am about to start myself. How would they know you have your phone? 'Cause my eldest works there now, and I have noticed his vest has a bunch of pockets to put stuff in.
Well right now they don’t care, but pre-covid, you have to put anything you bring through a bag scanner thing and walk through a metal detector, similar to an airport.
I haven’t been written up and I almost never reach the rate due to poor water spiders, broken VRC’s, terrible mixes, etc., but if you fall at the bottom 5% of the stowers you probably will get written up. It’s almost impossible to fall below 5% though, I feel like you literally have to be doing nothing to get to that point. I’d say they give like a 3-4 week grace period until they start getting stricter with it.
Hi thank you for this super informative video to someone like me a 2wks. old associate, those info that you covered it wasn't explained to us during our orientation, my question is will the TOT be applied every after each breaks,? like for example after my breaks am i expecting to scan box right away?
yes, if you just need money. if you can physically handle it. if you have no other job selections to choose from. if you want to eat and not go hungry or homeless. if you have a strong desire to have a future beyond Amazon physical labor, and maybe for work for amazon in a more techy area or customer service or logistics or human service etc.....means go to a university and amazon will assist a bit in monetary grants & later promote to a less physically demanding position. yes if you are living at home and want to buy that fancy car where one young man bought this honda civic super speed sports car with a whale tale that cost like krazy money and he paid it off in one year working regular hours and taking overtime hours called extra time...yes if your young and dont even have a high school degree but have no major criminal record and dont use cocaine, crack, heroine. yes if you are just broke and cant go to the gym like planet fitness or 24 hour fitness or any local gym at your neighborhood so you work for amazon and get your workout on...And the beauty of it you get paid like krazy. oh yeah also for those retirees you can also work here and amazon will give you a chance and most times the younger generation will put up with the slack...why? i dont know why.....it is what it is......... be a little generous when the outside temp is like 100'F and the ac/fan/trailer doors are shut and you are suffocating and the music is blairing louder and you just want to go insane and just go home...yes you can do it by going on the amazon app and just punch out and walk out the door to your car and drive off and still have a job tommorrow IF you have time off on the books.....what a nice job..oh btw you dont even need to tell anybody.....just punch out and walk out and come back tommmorrow.... but please tell your immediate supervisor so that you wont make some other amazonian upset at you later. because we have to put up and cover and gladly cover if we are aware in advance...but not if left in the dark you got issues that day......we will all do, but look out for each other please...tell one another....so mentally we will be prepared...
Awesome video! What is it like for people 60 and up? I'm thinking about coming out of retirement and working at the new plant in Colorado Springs. I don't think they would get special treatment so I guess I'm asking what the older employee's attitude is as well. It's a big decision for me.
Honestly, if you’ve stayed in shape and/or active since retirement, I think this would be great for you. I would definitely go for it. There aren’t too many people in that age range at my facility, but the ones who are there seem to not mind it at all. It’s a cool experience to see what one of the largest companies in the world does to push out their supplies.
We have lots of older employees at the facility I work at. A lot! You can get accommodations if you have anything going on medically or mentally...my doctor said many people get accommodations...I just applied to get extra time...will be kinda like getting extra UPT hours

You can do a medical leave for injuries if you break a bone or something
It’s funny that they know when you’re not working but can’t keep track of when the robots are not working…weird
I know!! That is super frustrating, how can they not track pod crashes/amnesty gaps and system errors. Doesn’t make much sense

Lol it's cuz they can't fire the robots
Thats why they say ANYTIME you cannot work due to robots... CREATE AN ANDON.... They will be able to match the time of task with the andon time

but you know what...be patient go at your pace dont overdue it and and drink lots of water and i can guarantee you in a couple months you will be very very very close to their stowing rate.....do you understand what i am saying???????? we are not robots...we are human beings and i hope they do not replace us with robots....thats all im saying...oh btw....$40 is our double time for overtime over 40hours in a week for ONLY the month of july in 2021 is quite excellent for non union. most jobs pay time and a half for overtime.
@@nekoneko8378 Thank you! This is really comprehensive
Look bro I work at Amazon for two weeks so this one manger said to me the trick is to scan more jiffy’s then the actual boxes
Yesss help my first day
I am enjoying your Amazon videos. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Thank you for watching!!!
Hi I’m from sc and my question is does you get paid every week are every two weeks
I went to hiring event today for drug test and badge photo. I'm checking on my emails.
I like you ,bro because you are introvert. when I meet extrovert, I become so defensive because I feel they invade my boundary.
I have those same experience 's
Or juss enjoy life bru
Question!! Should I take food on the first day, which is orientation. 10hrs
As a picker if I scan something (even a bin or a cart) does that count as a TOT stopper? Say I scan a bin, can I take a break for 3 minute before scanning the item? Thanks.
The best way to survive Amazon is to leave.
Lol
You give really good advice man!
Appreciate you!!
BS!
New here and also in amazon, just need that they e-mail me the date to go and finish the interview and show them my documents. I have a question, you say to never work at the waterspider, what is it?
the tot is a super tip..
Thanks!
How do you write down Tot bro? I heard you can't keep your phone with you at work. You have to leave it inside locker.
GSP1.... after a year I love it !!!
I’ve been with Amazon a month i do pick the buffer and launch pad also just received email I am eligible for permanent position.
how has it been?
Amazon will hire anyone trust me anyone
first tip yall freaking out about nothing this is my first week on my own done just worked my first week by myself and yall trippin like its hard like the job is easy the hardest part about the job is standing
Is your schedule set when your hired or do you always have to pick your shifts for the week, also can you change shifts later if you need too?
Your schedule is set UNLESS you get hired on as flex. Flex workers choose their own schedule as long as they work a minimum of 20 hours a month I believe. It varies location to location though.
What about the scanner part time position… how many boxes need to be scanned? I hear they say you need a lot but what if your a mature person of age? Do they jump down your throat to get boxes scanned? I see commercials where older people work here..thanks
reread above one by one i just posted for retireees
I just call andon and tell them its for my labor tracking when im not able to work due to pods
I would do that but I feel like the amnesty people get really annoyed, even when I pull an andon for something I genuinely need help with lmao
at the warehouse grocery associates they let you carry a cell phone because I need to use the gps and another question is there parking for bicycles?
I’m not sure about warehouse grocery associate having phones, I’m sure they’re allowed until 2022 like everyone else though. As for parking for bikes it depends on your location, but for mine, we have parking for motorcycles, but I’m not sure about regular bikes. I don’t think so
@@C11 thank you
Thanks for sharing this helpful info. My quick question pls. Does Amazon give their worker a discount if they also want to sell on Amazon website???
I will really appreciate your response. Thanks enormously
No they do not, we get a 10% discount if we buy items sold & shipped by Amazon on their website, but that is it.
You can try asking HR or call the ERC and maaaybe they’ll do something, but I definitely wouldn’t bet on it at all
@@AlonaKosh please stop using my comment section as a way to plug your channel.
I would definitely try to pick a different start date. I'm transferring to a new site. My schedule will be Thursday-Sunday. However, my birthday is on the 12th. So I'm delaying my start until 17th instead so I can have the weekend off.
Do you have to scan in your badge for every task you start or stop and start a new task?
What does a lead fulfillment associate do?
Can you do a video explaining how to stow?
Yes possibly in the future! I’ll try and get that sorted
how is it working with as a lift operator (PIT)?? Starting next week and found nothing about it on the web!
Ooo that’s a difficult one as I haven’t worked in that position myself. Try asking r/AmazonFC on reddit or r/FASCAmazon, you’ll likely get some great answers there!
I am 9 months in.....it seems good at first but........
I work at the new fulfillment center in Visalia ca. We only make 15.50 minimum wage is 15.00 . We don't make shit it sucks
$15.50 for California is horrible for Amazon. They need to do much better than that
Tac time is not in every Amazon warehouse. At my Amazon it's called tot. Time off task. Also robots that warehouses have. We don't have warehouses as pickers. We have to walk everywhere to get every item. 15 20 miles per day. There are only 37 warehouses left in America that are like mine.
Wow that’s crazy. We have TOT as well though. Takt time and TOT are two different things
True! I walk 20 miles a day busting my ankles in the process and still get written up still for low productivity. Good suggestions on the TOT notes. I will do that.
so when you work at amazon are you always at the same station? or do you do different things on different shifts?
Can you wear a normal watch or an Apple Watch while working there?
Yeah
For TOT, how does one log their activities without it looking like they’re breaking the no phone rule?
I put the time that I left my station while I’m in the restroom and then when I get to my station and stow or pick one item, I just log my time super fast and hide it. Tbh though, I feel like if I ever got caught and just explained that I was logging my TOT and then showed them the proof, I doubt that they would care at all.
@@C11 I’m a picker. I carry a small book with me. I write everything down. When people are making me wait, waiting to drop cages.they can ask you up to a month what happened a certain day!!! The mangers are always surprised when I pull out my book! Lol
@@yumme46 I plan on doing just that, myself. I've always got little notebooks and pens.

Watching this before I clock in my first day 🙃
4th week so far,I have question since I'm seasonal and hire directly by Amazon how long do they keep you and how do they let you go? By the way of the 10 people started with me 8 quick last week. Thanks for your videos very helpful.
Honestly it really just depends on how long they need you for. At my FC, pretty much all seasonals get hired on permanently. I think in general a large majority of seasonals are kept however don’t take that as a concrete answer because I have heard of seasonals being let go at the end of their run, I think it’s just not as common. It took me 3 months to go from seasonal white badge to permanent blue badge though which wasn’t that long!
Up to 11 months
yes 100% ALL SEASONALS become blue badge...why? every blue badge before them will eventually quit...so if you happen to last at least 11months or less.....guarantee you are permanent blue badge...will this cycle ever change...time will tell but for now 2021JULY it remains the same...there will be so many blue badges quitting within 11 months that the white badges who stuck it through will be blue badges and be permanent employees.
I started June 6 and I’m going in for my third week and just got emailed that I got the blue badge. Came with a small raise. I work in customer returns processing and our rate is 25 and I’ve been sitting at 28-33
This doesn't happen at every facility.... I know this video is a year old. But a lot has changed recently.
Yeah if you don’t have any time off at all then you’ll be terminated. But you should have started with some time off though
If your sick or injured your best bet is go to apply for leave of absence through the DLS portal found in resources on the A to Z app. They in many cases will even refund your Upt for already missed days if your reason is legit with all your time accounted for with your doctor's papers and time off work notices.
If you use your personal time does it take away from the upt hours? Or are they separate
No it dose not. Your Upt and pto are separate are not on the same scale.
Is A flex shift good , what is a position if you never worked in an warehouse?
A flex shift is where you pick your own shifts as long as you work a minimum amount of hours monthly, if that sounds good to you, then yes it’s good! As for the positions, any of them are fine for people who have never worked in a warehouse before
I work flex shift, 20 hours in a month, I mostly go there on Saturday for a full day. I work at pick and the shifts are from 2hrs to 4:30hrs
Flex is 3 -4 days a month or 20 hrs depending on the facility
What is your favourite thing about the job
Can you work in the warehouse with no experience and then eventually move up into the Information Technology area of Amazon?
I’m not sure to be honest, I would look up “qualifications to work in IT at amazon”. It’s not something I’ve heard of before, but it might be possible. I know they’ll assist you in getting a degree and eventually transfer to IT that way, at least that’s what they do at my FC. (I think)
@@C11 Oh okay! I was curious because I have a degree in the IT field and Amazon jobs are so broad lol
Can u explain every position that you know please let me know thank you!??!?
Today's video explained one of them, and I'll have many more of those to come! So subscribe if you aren't already!
I m working in new facility people came from other states to train us so we as well as they are not familiar with new system different then their facility so still they will blame us for not speed up the job .
so are we able to vibe to music while working
Unfortunately no
How is it working holidays at Amazon? Can you take holidays off?
Maybe if you have hours but you get paid time and a half but if you can't go just check if you have UPT or PTO
That’s hella clutch. How long was the leave?
@@C11 can't remember, I think about 3 4 months, because I kept extending it. The downside to it, is the fact that by the time you comeback your motivation is completely gone.
amazon corporate or the erc hotline? how do you contact corporate? I wouldn't think that contacting corporate would be of any help since they would handle corporate employees and not warehouse associates.
Is it allowed to take your cell phone with you ??
It just depends though
how did you make a note drop down like that can you make a video
Which part exactly?
Thank you Can we work a mix shifts like two day and two night for each week
If you apply for flex shift I believe you can
What app is best to use on my smart phone for my tot daily
I just use the default notes app! On my iPhone it's just called Notes and on my Android phone it's called KeyNotes
How can I access the TOT on my phone
Hey man, great videos. I just got hired on in Canada at a new facility. They've put me in "inbound" what is that? Do I empty the trucks? I start in February.
Thank you! I'd be willing to bet that you're probably going to be doing stow. It's a fulfillment center, right?
@@C11 yep! One of the new robotic ones apparently. They've been paying me since November since they missed their opening date.
Where do you write down your TOT?
On my phone, secretly. If I ever get caught I doubt the managers would care as long as you tell them the reason for being on your phone, since it's work related!
Why don’t people who make the Amazon videos talk about working in the warehouse that handles nothing but the large items? All forklift work.
Thanks
If I transfer with Amazon to another state, will they change my hourly wage ?
Honestly I hadn’t thought of that, that’s an interesting question! I’ve always considered transferring to a different state but hadn’t thought about that. I would assume so if the site you’re transferring to has a higher minimum wage than what you’re already making, but I can’t guarantee that
@@C11 ok thank you!! I will ask HR today.
Can you have a Powerade with you while working? I’ll be starting at Amazon in about a week. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you!
Yes you can!
are you paid for the orientation video you get in the email ?
Yes
What city do you work in?
Houston
Are you paid weekly? And how long until your first check?
Yes Tier 1’s get paid every Friday. You should get paid for your first week, the week after you start.
@@C11 thanks!!
@@C11 do you know anything about this sign on bonus??
Yes, if you apply and get hired they’ll pay you whatever they’re offering. Most likely within the first month
How do you log your tot if you can't bring your phone inside?
You can bring your phones inside right now because of covid but afterwards, I’m probably just going to bring a tiny notepad or something with a pen to log it on there
@@C11 thanks for the reply!
Can you listen to music?
No 💔😢
@@C11 Bruhh...🙄
How can I log if we aren't supposed to have phones
You can have your phone with you and I’d say if you’re just getting back to your station you can log quickly and put your phone away, if you get caught you can just show them you were logging your TOT just incase. Most AM’s don’t care to begin with but some people in mint colored vests definitely do.
Amazon wearhouse workers are we getting a raise soon I need food money
I highly doubt it
On average how many packages do *you* sell a day
you dont sell packages at all. you just organize them and move them to where they are needed, volume per day will vary between facilities
Which Amazon facility do you work at?
Its a secret
I'm supposed to start in about a week. I have been reading that most warehouses don't allow phones? Or is that something that they've changed?
At the moment they are allowing you to bring your phones in for Covid emergency purposes, but when the virus slows down, they’re going to stop letting you bring them in.
@@C11 I am about to start myself. How would they know you have your phone? 'Cause my eldest works there now, and I have noticed his vest has a bunch of pockets to put stuff in.
Well right now they don’t care, but pre-covid, you have to put anything you bring through a bag scanner thing and walk through a metal detector, similar to an airport.
@@C11 Ah, I see. Thanks.
@@C11 we usually have a locker to put are stuff in. Hope they let us use them again!!!
sorry but tip #4 is confusing to me. can you try to explain it a little more clearly? :(
How long do they give new hires to make rate before they start getting written up?
I haven’t been written up and I almost never reach the rate due to poor water spiders, broken VRC’s, terrible mixes, etc., but if you fall at the bottom 5% of the stowers you probably will get written up. It’s almost impossible to fall below 5% though, I feel like you literally have to be doing nothing to get to that point. I’d say they give like a 3-4 week grace period until they start getting stricter with it.
Where do you keep the food you bring with you?
At my station in my clear bag, most people leave it in the fridges at the break rooms though
Hi thank you for this super informative video to someone like me a 2wks. old associate, those info that you covered it wasn't explained to us during our orientation, my question is will the TOT be applied every after each breaks,? like for example after my breaks am i expecting to scan box right away?
Do Amazone have four hrs part-time shift ?
Nope
We might, but if we do, I’m unaware of it or at least I don’t remember it.
I work RTS part time weekends - love it.
Yes they do
Only for holidays
Is working at Amazon worth the pay?
yes, if you just need money. if you can physically handle it. if you have no other job selections to choose from. if you want to eat and not go hungry or homeless. if you have a strong desire to have a future beyond Amazon physical labor, and maybe for work for amazon in a more techy area or customer service or logistics or human service etc.....means go to a university and amazon will assist a bit in monetary grants & later promote to a less physically demanding position. yes if you are living at home and want to buy that fancy car where one young man bought this honda civic super speed sports car with a whale tale that cost like krazy money and he paid it off in one year working regular hours and taking overtime hours called extra time...yes if your young and dont even have a high school degree but have no major criminal record and dont use cocaine, crack, heroine.
yes if you are just broke and cant go to the gym like planet fitness or 24 hour fitness or any local gym at your neighborhood so you work for amazon and get your workout on...And the beauty of it you get paid like krazy.
oh yeah also for those retirees you can also work here and amazon will give you a chance and most times
the younger generation will put up with the slack...why? i dont know why.....it is what it is.........
be a little generous when the outside temp is like 100'F and the ac/fan/trailer doors are shut and you are suffocating and the music is blairing louder and you just want to go insane and just go home...yes you can do it by going on the amazon app and just punch out and walk out the door to your car and drive off and still have a job tommorrow IF you have time off on the books.....what a nice job..oh btw you dont even need to tell anybody.....just punch out and walk out and come back tommmorrow....
but please tell your immediate supervisor so that you wont make some other amazonian upset at you later. because we have to put up and cover and gladly cover if we are aware in advance...but not if left in the dark
you got issues that day......we will all do, but look out for each other please...tell one another....so mentally we will be prepared...
